About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Great for scenic views
  • Innovative
Amuse is a seasonal, farm to table driven restaurant, located on the third floor of the museum. Whether you are dining in our main dining room, full-service bar, or our private dining room, you will be able to take in sweeping views of the Robins Sculpture Garden and the museum’s Cochrane Atrium. Our team works diligently to provide a menu that is directly inspired by the art-filled surroundings, current exhibitions, and seasonality while also carefully selecting only the finest ingredients from local vendors, artisans, and farmers. Just a friendly reminder that the museum does not allow balloons, confetti, glitter, plants potted with soil, and candles with open flames. If a date and time you seek for a reservation appears to be full, please give us a call so we can see what other times might be available.

I've never had one bad thing at Amuse. The Peanut Soup was divine as was the Spring Picadillo and the Chocolate Mexican Mousse. Can't wait to go back for more!

Outstanding food, I thought the wine was a tad pricey but still worth it. I sat in the bar by myself and had to most relaxing and satisfying Friday evening enjoying delicious food and world class art.

Three friends and I had dinner after seeing the Frida exhibit. The service and our food were spot on. Amuse was very busy, but the lively atmosphere added to the fun of the night. The noise level was a little loud, but seemed to get better as we had dinner.

We have enjoyed dining at Amuse a number of times with pleasure. This recent experience was disappointing at best. On the positive side, the hostess was very helpful and willing to seat us outside the noisy and over-crowded dining room. We had a reservation, but felt like walk-ins at a chain eatery. Our server was rushed and prone to pass over information about the wine and entrees. He thought that substituting a glass of Muscadet with a glass of Prosecco would be ok. My husband's crab cakes were overcooked, Serving a dry crab cake in the South is unforgivable. The greens on both our entrees were wilted and a lifeless garnish to what could have been a great start to wonderful entrees. Our hope is that we can return to Amuse soon and find that the attention to detail and dining excellence is restored.
