Great food. Great service. Will be back when we are in town.
Felt safe because tables are extremely far apart and ceilings are high! My first time to dine indoors. I had an outdoor reservation but it was cold. Service was great! Restrooms were very clean. I’ll be back
Food and service were great. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again soon
Super friendly staff and delicious breakfast options
fantastic food, grreat value, outstanding service and value.
We ate dinner outdoors in front of the building along Linden Street. The menu is understandably limited under the circumstances, but the food was reliably excellent. The tables out front were OK, but I look forward to coming back once they can serve inside as the place has a real nice interior ambience. The staff members were great and trying their hardest to make sure diners have a good experience.
This place is AMAZING! The food was incredible and the owner was there and SUPER NICE! I saw good reviews for delivery and picked for Birthday Brunch!
This place was a High end to mid level caterer for the tech and biotech companies near them and with everyone remote etc. they had to carnage their business model. They just started breakfast and brunch and are building outside seating.
The quality they had is definitely still there and getting it freshly cooked is AWESOME!!! Definitely get this food catered, delivered, pickup or eat outside in person! Well worth it!!!
I was so happy to hear that they had outdoor seating because I was getting tired of takeout and eating in my hotel room. The service and food was excellent as always. They had their full menu unlike other restaurants. I had the lamb kabobs that are always excellent.
My second visit just a wonderful as the first. Delicious food, friendly and unpretentious servers in a classy setting.
We had a sampler plate, of baba ghanoush, falafel, hummus, some dips, tabouleh and fantastice house made pita. We split the mushroom risotto, 2 delicious salads, and some house made ice cream...definitely get the pistachio. And the cocktails were great. Staff attentive and friendly. Quiet enough to talk with lots of space between tables. They have a parking lot. Overall a lovely meal and restaurant, with good value, and good size portions.
We had reservations for Valentine’s Day, arrived a few minutes early and were seated right behind the host's stand. There was a paper menu on the table outlining their $75 set menu. This was the first we knew of a set menu as I don't recall seeing it on the website and they did not mention it when they called to confirm our reservation.
The girlfriend is gluten and dairy free, the server said they could easily accommodate her with the choices of the set menu: they would have veggie sticks substituted for the pita on the appetizer plate, leave the cheese off the salad, provide a selection of berries and fruits for desert, sounds great so we agreed.
15 minutes later they brought out the appetizer plate with pita bread, no veggie sticks. We reminded the server about the gluten allergy and the veggie sticks that she had been offered.
15 minutes later the veggie sticks showed up.
Next course was the salad, hers shows up with cheese on it. We again explain the dairy allergy and they go back to get a salad without cheese.
Salads are done and they clear the table………….
15 minutes later our entrees show up, mine is cool except for the asparagus, hers is warm. Both are really good despite the temperature. Speaking of temperature, everyone in the restaurant is eating with there jackets on, both of ours are zipped up and we are cold. The front door opens and the place drops another 5 degrees or so. Average temperature was between 50 and 60 throughout the night.
Desert shows up and they bring the girlfriend Baklava. Once again, we explain gluten free and that they had offered berries and fruits as the desert option for her. They take it away…. 5 minutes later they come back and tell us they have no berries or fruit, no desert for her. They do give us a piece of cake to take home.
15 minutes later, they bring the bill. $75 each for dinner, 20% mandatory tip. Nowhere have I seen a tip added to a bill for two people, rarely have I seen it at 20%.
No way will we ever go back!
Eureka! I found my new favorite restaurant! We ordered too much food, but they were almost all excellent (except steak). We are planning to go back there as soon as next weekend!
Great staff beautiful clean dinning room nice design
Fantastic food at a great price
Quiet night. Ate at the bar. Jenna was friendly and attentive. Had the chicken. Was good. Room is clean with a warm ambience. I’ll be back
The food was great and the service was phenomenal! She was great!
I reserved for 9 people to celebrate my manager’s 25 years at the company. The reservation process was easy, the table was ready, service & food were excellent.
Loved all the plates we had. Lamb kebobs were great, chicken was delicious, flat bread was yummy. Desserts were excellent. The wine list is selective and we all had ones we liked. The service was warm and attentive and the place is lovely.
Excellent food, wonderful service. Not so busy on weekends, more so during the week for business events. Amazingly broad wine list for a restaurant this size. We will be back often for the healthy mediterranean cuisine!
Been to Amoura quite a few times now and food consistently good. Nice ambience. Good for a private dinner or for work. Very good value for money.
Amoura is a hidden gem with wonderful atmosphere and great food. Its an escape from the hustle and bustle of SSF. Its also very versatile Good for a nice dinner or a business lunch. Also for drinks and appetizers. I highly recommend it.
Food was good, though menu was quite limited and even though we were practically the only ones there they were out of Asparagus, the only vegetable you could order on the side. The kids loved the flatbread, it’s basically pizza.
The food is always fresh and delicious. I especially love the roasted free range chicken. Amoura also has an interesting selection of specialty cocktails.
Delicious food with interesting combinations that worked. Service was slow but polite. Very, very noisy. Difficult to have a conversation.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. It was my first time there and I will definitely return. Highly recommended.
Very nice Mediterranean restaurant!
We shared chickpea stew and couple flatbreads. Pistachio Baklava had the right sweetness. Loved it!
I brought some partners to Amoura after a briefing with one of our mutual clients. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. The food was delicious and the service was very good. We had a delicious meal. Lunch at Amoura was a great way to start our new work relationship.
The food and service were fantastic!
We plan a Scorpio birthday party every year at Amoura and they never disappoint ! Good, service, especially with a larger group is always spot on. Thank you!
Nice welcome. Friendly staff. Table was ready when we arrived. Small but good selection of food. We shared the mezze platter and liked it a lot, and had steak and lamb shank for main course. Both were really good. Only downside was that starter arrived before cocktails.
Also the atmosphere is not the most cosy one. It's one big room, however From what I experienced- this is also how it is in the middle east quite often, so authentic- but you feel like in a wide open space
My flatbread was dry. Small portion of toppings, had to request a sauce to dip it in to be able to eat it. Waitress didn’t ask to refill beverages, nor offer us a dessert menu and just dropped bill on table. The restaurant was a third of capacity, service must be really poor when busy. This was to have a nice meal for my friend’s birthday, we won’t be back.
We have been in the past and loved the ambience and food. This time we took another couple with us and they loved it just as much as we did. Hidden gem in ssf
A wonderful restaurant tucked away in SSF. The salads are amazing.
All good. Service and food were very nice
Great restaurant in the South San Francisco area! The food is always delicious and the ambiance is energetic without being obnoxiously loud. They have a nice variety menu and is not flooded with overwhelming options; personal favorite is the avocado carrot salad with grilled chicken! Love that they have a spacious private dining room for special occasions or business gatherings.
We really enjoyed Amoura. Food was excellent and the environment was good. Service was slower than I would expect, but we weren’t in a hurry so not a huge issue for us.
Try the roasted carrots and avocado salad! Delicious
Fish and lamb burger very over cooked and dry. Sent lamb burger back to be cooked medium rare but it was still over cooked. Flatbread crusts were undercooked, soggy from the sauce and dry. There was a hard piece (possible salt) when a family member ate the fish and had nerve pain. It felt like the tooth was cracked.
We usually have a great food at Amoura, but not this time. Service is consistently good.
Overall good food and service in our favorite Mediterranean restaurant in South San Francisco. We highly recommend the restaurant on any occasion.
It is a very nice restaurant with very attentive service. Don’t let location/exterior fool you. Check the hours and go try it out.
The food was so flavorful!!!! We enjoyed lamb dishes that were cooked to perfection, and also had the mixed appetizer plate. It was the best hummus and babaganoush that we have ever had!
Everything was fresh, not too salty or oily. And even though I ate all of it, I did not feel uncomfortable after.
We even had the homemade ice cream and date cake- wonderful!
We will definitely be returning. Also appreciated the easy parking right next to the restaurant, and friendly staff.
