   Great seafood restaurant in downtown Charleston well located near City Market. Shucker Diesel rivals any New Orleans celebrity shucker for affability and skill. Server Kiki was knowledgeable and friendly. Menu is not too ambitious, focusing on advertised fresh raw and prepared seafood. Facility is historic and well maintained.

   Great flounder sandwich & strawberry salad with a side of crab cake. Beer was excellent, too. Really nice bar.

   Out of town guests were impressed and sated. We all enjoyed the Caesar salads with add-on seafood, and the drinks. The server was attentive and personable. (The only downer was the large table of raucous diners that were yelling from one end to the other.)

   Jacob was our waiter, very nice and helpful in selecting our entrees. Will definitely be back! We enjoyed a nice slice of key lime pie for a friend’s birthday.

   It was our last night in Charleston and we wished we had found Amen Street sooner; we would have returned during our stay. Our waiter Michael was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to engage with. He even gave us a list of recommendations of things to enjoy while visiting. We had the their signature drink, The Holy Basil, fried green tomatoes, calamari, farm salad with blackened shrimp, strawberry salad with salmon. All of it was delicious and we will be sure to return on our next visit. Highly recommend Amen Street Fish and Raw Bar!

    Jacob was an excellent waiter - friendly and fast with great recommendations and extremely efficient. The food was top notch and the sides were super fresh. We enjoyed the crab cakes, swordfish and strawberry salad with blackened tuna. Everything was amazing!
