We also feature a full bar and one of the finest wine lists anywhere with a preference on Italy"s finest, Barolo's, Brunello's, Amarone's, and Super Tuscans. Our staff is knowledgable, friendly, and courteous, they will do there best to make you feel as if you were in our home!
If you are looking for a restaurant with passion for its food and its wine, while offering the service you deserve.
Visiting from out of town with family and seeing the re.views and said let’s give it a try the service was excellent the zupppa de Pesce ,Veal chop very good ,fried green tomatoes a little strange but overall good service good nice place where the only problem I had was the hostess and the manager were pretty standoffish
Great food and service.
Wonderful service, wonderful food!! Book your reservation as there isn’t much room for walk ins... maybe none! We ate early and by the time we left the restaurant was full! Well done!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Fabulous meal. Best we have had at Amalfi
Had a perfectly cooked hogfish picatta served over baby spinach. This is a very delicate fish and labor intensive to do right but it was just brilliant. Our server, Vernon, was spot on as well.
Polite, efficient service. Waiter very knowledgeable and helpful. Had a very nice experience with some friends from out of town.
We took them to Amalfi Grille last year and they wanted to go again. That’s tell you how memorable it was.
Very accommodating and warm.
Excellent service & unique menu! Food was phenomenal.
Never had a bad meal & this visit was exceptional- the best service we have ever had there!
I was Anxious to try this restaurant as I had seen many good reviews and heard people talk about it. We were visiting Vero beach for another weekend getaway and thought it would be a good opportunity to try it. It was not a holiday weekend but it was during the high season. Our reservations are for 6:30 pm but we arrived a few minutes early and we’re probably seated. Initially the service was very attentive and we had a very personable waiter. However, as the evening wore on and tables filled up he became rushed and developed a bit of an attitude about having to bus his own tables. Perhaps the restaurant could add more to the staff so that the wait staff can pay attention to the customers.
When it came to the food, it was a mixed bag. Among the 4 in our party, we all got separate dishes: one veal, two chicken, and one seafood. All were good and the portions were sufficient that we left with two servings of the side pastas in doggie bags. However, the prices for these was significantly higher than found any of the other Italian restaurants nearby. The restaurant prides itself on using imported ingredients direct from Italy (that’s probably why the prices were so high), but it was not noticeably different to us.
Another item that is worth mentioning: there are two escargot appetizers on the menu. When ordered we simply said “escargot” and were never questioned which we wanted, and had forgotten there were two. The one we received was the one in puff pastry and not the one we wanted. Our mistake for sure, but shame on the waiter for not clarifying- it was s $16 appetizer and not worth it.
Overall I give the restaurant 3 stars as the food was good, but not stellar to warrant a higher rating. There are at least 3 other Italian Restaurants in Vero Beach and two of the others are just as good with lower prices and better service.
Everything was so good!
Great service. Food less so. I would not return or recommend. Seemed popular amongst older folks.
Food was nothing great. We’ve had better Italian food. Our waitress disappeared after our food was delivered... it was a birthday celebration and my husband asked for cake and a candle at the beginning of our meal and we never got it. Not impressed at all based in previous reviews
Very disappointing. They do not acknowledge special occasions. They list a special menu on their website but do not state it is not available in season. We ordered an entree that is just as good at another Italian restaurant in Vero Beach at half the price.
My daughter and her family were here for Christmas and no vacation is complete (or permitted by her) without at least one visit to Amalfi. It seems every time my wife and I go there, Bob somehow makes the meal and the evening more incredible that the last time. I only gave a 5 star rating to all categories because there is no place to check 10 stars.
Very slow service even to include no greeting as we entered.
Long wait for drink order, then to get the drinks took forever.
40 wait for food after finally ordering and then it was cold.
The restaurant was about one third full, not busy at all,
The manager was non responsive and NO help at all.
Loved this place and are so sad to have to cross it off our list of go to places.
The food is always good.
The best meal we’ve had in Vero Beach! Service was excellent. Each course was perfectly cooked with amazing flavors and very authentic. Desserts were fabulous.
By far the best shrimp and lobster fettuccine I’ve had with hand made pasta and delicate cream sauce. Veal chop perfectly cooked. Overall, a stunning meal!
Don’t bother with the fruitcake. Dry, funny taste and icing that was hard as a rock. Also small pours on the wine.
What a lovely evening. So accommodating. I reserved a table in the bar and when we arrived we decided we would sit in the dining room. They were so gracious about it and said No Problem. Thank you.
Food was yummy, service was great. The best part I finally found Veron.
I was very disappointed with the salmon dish, tiny piece of salmon swimming in green oily something on top of a ton of frozen cooked spinach.......all for $29!
Consistently terrific! Great food & service.
Very nice decor, good food. Pricey for Italian food. Good wine selection.
Lovely evening with dear friends. Our server was outstanding. Attentive, knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. Our friends raved about the Hogfish. It was a mild flakey white fish with a light sauce. Our veal was tender and delicious. For dessert we chose the eggnog cheesecake that was yummy. We would definitely choose it again. Our friends chose the blueberry bread pudding and said it was out of this world. Great evening, great service and an outstanding meal.
My family and I come here on special occasions because we love the food, however , in my opinion it’s over priced. Cozy atmosphere but for just an everyday dinner it’s too expensive for me.
Wonderful wait staff. Sat at one of three tables by the bar. It was too tight an area. Meatball appetizer was great. Clams Vongole was wonderful. Veal Parmegian was chewy and not particularly tasty.
On short notice was able to get a reservation and then seated at a booth. Food was outstanding! Good wine list and great deserts. Service was superb.
Really a wonderful place to have a delicious dinner !
Great food, beautiful wines and excellent service by Vernon!
Loved the short ribs, veal carciofo, fruiti de mar (bit of spice). Octopus and grill fig appetizers were delish! Great food.
very good Italian in Vero! Large portions and great staff. Nice variety on the menu and wonderful desserts. A bit heavy on the garlic,, but hey....
My husband and I both said that this was probably the best restaurant dining experience that we have recently had! We had great service, and the meals were incredible! We had the Gamberi Parmigiano Fra Diavlo, Penne alla Vodka, Frutti di Mare with linguini, the hogfish special, and short ribs special! The best food ever!❤️
So the food was very good but the portions were very small especially according to the price which was very expensive. Maybe it was due to the holiday but if the everyday menu is the same prices it is too expensive for me.
Food was excellent as was the service. Very accommodating as we asked to switch tables and it was done immediately without question.
As always our favorite restaurant in Vero Beach. Great food & service.
Very slow service. Restaurant was packed with tables too close together. Food was good but not exceptional
Pleasant setting inside, even though restaurant is in a strip shopping center. Attentive staff. Enticing menu. Lots to choose from. Food was creative and good. I had a lobster fettuccine and it had large chunks of lobster and some good-sized bonus shrimp tossed in as well. Pasta is fresh and homemade. Wife had chicken dish that was flavorful and tender. Cocktails were well-made and wine selection is good. Bread cam with meal and it was good, with good texture. Menu is on the pricey side, so it's not a place most folks could go to regularly, but if you want a little something special, it's worth the try.
My wife and I came here for our wedding anniversary. The food was good and we had an excellent server. It was during the week and a late dinner so there were only a few other tables occupied when we arrived. My wife had Osso Bucco and I had Chilean Seabass. Both were good although may not be the specialty of this restaurant. Amalfi Grille is worth a try for a special occasion as their menu is in the higher price tier.
Been there multiple times. Always excellent. Food is beautifully prepared. Delicious dessert.
A nice surprise! Sounded like a nice ‘family’ experience, but more elegant than that. Good food, lovely presentation.
We all enjoyed our delicious meals. Amalfi Grille never disappoints.
