   Where do I begin? My mother said it best: the worst meal we’ve had in years. The rolls were so hard you could crack a mirror. Every single $35+ item we ordered was severely overcooked and under seasoned. While the service was friendly, they did absolutely ZERO to improve the experience after we shared our feedback nicely. The best we can say is we got a great story out of it. $300+ worth of horrible food, with so many amazing places surrounding you. Such a disappointment

   Overall it was a good experience. Unfortunately had to send back meatloaf entrees because it was cold. Got it back after a quick blast. Overall it was a good meal. Server was very nice and tried her best to make it a good experience.

   Very nice atmosphere for a date night. Food presentation was good. Filet was excellent and the peas and carrots (scallop dish) was good but you only get 3 scallops for this dish which is the same amount for the appetizer of the scallops. Disappointed that the dinner didn’t have more than 3 scallops. The pecan pie dessert was very good. Overall was a nice place with good food!

   My party had a great time at A.Lure. Our waiter Trevor was so helpful and gave us great advice on dishes and drinks to pair with each one. It wasn’t too loud so we could all talk without yelling. We loved the location and its close proximity to parking and other fun spots.

   Everyone we talked to said this place was just okay and I’m afraid they were right but it had availability so we went. Two of our food items that should have been hot came out cold and had to be sent back. The green salad was nothing to write home about (after being recommended by the waitress) except for the fried Brie and yes it was not hot either. There are so many better choices in Savannah - sorry a.lure you need to step up your game.

   Food and service was excellent as it was last time we were here. However, there were only 10 of us in the main dining area and then 2 more arrived late. A very small number of customers. What has happened to their appeal?

   This has long been my favorite restaurant to go to when I visit Savannah each year. However, what used to be fabulous is now just mediocre. The restaurant used to be filled up each night and people raved about the food. Now, during the busiest dinner hour, there were only four other tables being served. Our waiter had limited knowledge about the menu and a drink that I asked for. We ordered the rabbit ravioli for a starter, pork shank and shrimp and grits for dinner. Each was dish was ok, but nothing like I remember it. I had to ask for salt for everything. I'm also surprised that year after year, the menu remains the same. Time to reinvent yourself A.Lure. Obviously what worked years ago is not working now. Develop a new menu and train your wait staff to know that menu inside and out. That is how you maintain a great restaurant. I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew but sadly, no longer.
