Our server, Ana, was fantastic. Food was excellent.
The food was absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it!!
Shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes and the ravioli all awesome! Taylor was also a great server. Overall excellent!!
I really enjoyed my fried Green tomato appetizer. My companion could not stomach his crabcake appetizer. I tasted it and thought it was fishy and not fresh. We were disappointed that 3 of the dinner entrees were sold out.. Since the menu was limited to begin with, deleting 3 entrees did not leave a lot to choose.
Took my father for dinner while he was in town. Everything we ordered was great! I had their mahi special and my father had their steak and cooked it exactly how he wanted it. Great wine pairing all in all great experience.
Excellent service. Great wine pairing and phenomenal food!
Great food selection and value for money spent. Service was excellent and the waitress was very knowledgeable regarding the menu.
Great food! Don’t miss the rabbit ravioli
Great food, service and ambiance. We definitely recommend it.
After visiting Asheville, Charleston and Savannah my group and I found the perfect balance of quality food and excellent service. The swordfish and fried green tomatoes were perfection. And when asked to speak to the chef we were happy to tell him so.
Food was delicious!
Everything was excellent…fried green tomatoes & crab cakes for appetizers. Shrimp & grits & swordfish entrees & sweet potato pies for dessert.
We had a nice dinner. Cute restaurant with nice ambience. The four of us each had a different entree so we sampled several dishes. The crab cake appetizers were a hit with the table. The peas and carrots with scallops and the seafood pasta were both delicious. My son had the fried chicken Which looked great, he didn’t share but he said it was great. Also delicious was my cocktail. I had the vodka with strawberry purée and egg foam. It was not to tart and not to sweet. Just right.
Food was amazing. Our Server Ann was wondering. Definitely recommend to everyone.
Great hospitality and phenomenal food.
The shrimp and grits were amazing. I have eaten a lot of shrimp and grits and these are the best I have ever had. Not too heavy and excellent flavor.
Delicious food! The rabbit ravioli was to die for! Very rich but so so so good! Great service, very friendly!
Food was better than anything else, which isn’t a glowing recommendation. Fried green tomatoes were hard and small. Weak ( mostly Mayo ) remoulade. Out of a fried chicken dish at 8:30 pm. Rabbit ravioli app deconstructed to the point of Unrecognizable. Shredded and chewy. Highlight was shrimp n grits with fried leek. One lonely piece of chorizo was discovered on the bottom of the mound of perfectly cooked grits. Server thought he was doing a good job, but never came by to refill wine or water. Place could be better than it was.
Worth the high price tag! Delicious food and amazing service!
My wife and I chose A.Lure mostly because we could get short notice reservations. We were very glad we went. The menu is not long, but there was enough variety that we wished we could chose more. The appetizers were excellent and the entrees were better. I had the special - Salmon - which was as good as Ive ever had and my wife had shrimp/scallops.
Service was attentive and pleasant.
All-in-all a pleasant experience. Thanks
Took 30 plus minutes for drinks
All servers were frustrated Mae got food before a cocktail!
It was fine. Service was good, portions were smaller than expected.
Really delicious! The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was worth every penny!
I don't understand how this restaurant can get any good rating.
The description from farm to plate from their website is not accurate, the choice are limited, the food is not good at all... Other options must better in Savannah

Place is beautiful! Food and drinks were great but service was slow! Not the waiters fault! He was kind and knowledgeable but they seem to be short staffed.
The food was great, however the rabbit ravioli sauce was a little too salty. Our waiter wasn’t very informative or knowledgeable (he couldn’t tell me where the salmon, tuna or scallops were from), he also let us run out of water for a good 30 minutes and didn’t serve my husband his wine until after his meal was eaten. I’m assuming that they are understaffed. Overall the food was worth the poor service.
We had such high expectations for this place but were sorely disappointed. Food was ok to average. Fried green tomatoes which should be a star dish in this region were a disaster: covered with a thick and tough coat of batter and hard inside. I could have made an airier, lighter dish at home. Crab cake was nothing special. The passion fruit mojito was bitter and brought to the table after the appetizers. Then, they forgot our wines. The server told they “ were preparing” our drinks?! Wine? We canceled it because it would have come after we had finished our meal. It looks like the servers were not trained to serve wine or anything else. This was true not only of our table but if the table next to ours. They need to train servers to serve properly. . Maybe it was the pandemic that left them short of skilled workers , but that is not an excuse in such a high priced place that wants to pass for an upscale restaurant.
We had an amazing dinner!! Highly recommend! Great food, great service!
We flew in to Savannah today and found a.Lure thru Open Table. Really enjoyed everything about the restaurant. We had cocktails and starters, the special and dessert. The place was packed by the time we left, but never felt like we were missed as far as the staff cking on us. The food was amazing. From the tomato and crab bisque to the flourless chocolate torte, deliciousness was all around. Everybody who says meatloaf is gross has not had meatloaf here. It was neck and neck with the peas and carrots scallops as far as flavorful and rich. The salmon special was fab as well. There were no ghosts discussed but I was literally licking my plate so I didn’t even miss the haints. Ck this place out:.
Our waiter, Kit, was so professional, attentive and fun. He was so helpful with a member of our party with a special diet. Also, the bartender made a trip to our table to discuss a drink order. Love a.lure!!!
We really enjoyed the service although the mahi-mahi was dry as well as the pecan pie, strangely enough. There wasn’t a show there was a new chef and they were receptive to the feedback. The bartender was very chatty with his customers and it took such a long time to get our Manhattan’s made that our main course arrived before our drinks. Overall, the service staff is what made it a pleasant evening for us.
Good menu selection. Excellent food. Nice hostess and waitress. We liked the atmosphere. Not too big or noisy. Would come back.
We had a fantastic experience at this establishment. Service and food were the best we've experienced in Savannah to date. Thank you for a great evening!
This place is absolutely delicious! We will definitely be coming back.
The location is perfect! The decor is unique and tasteful. The service is fantastic (thank you Taylor!) We had the rabbit ravioli on a recommendation, it was amazing! Highly, Highly recommend this restaurant. Make reservations!
Good Southern meal.
Food was okay, two of the five drinks on the cocktail menu were sold out, but the staff was nice.
a.Lure is a little gem in the historic district. Our server was very attentive and the service was professional. I had the meatloaf and it was just the right amount of comfort food I needed. One of my friends had the wonderful seafood pasta special and the star was the fried chicken breast. We shared the fried green tomatoes and we were sorry we didn't have more. Parking is an issue, so give yourself extra time to find a spot.
Loved my dish… Country Fried Chicken breast. Excellent service! Very friendly staff.
The whole experience was the best! Loved the food, ambiance and our waiter Nick was amazing!
