Been there several times, but this time, there were some changes. No one to greet us, had to wait around for someone to come to the front. Bread buns were dry. Not one of us took more than a bite. Menu is limited. Just ok. Going to try somewhere different.

We love the town square location & the historical building. Our food was delicious. Our server was friendly, but not overly attentive. That is meant as a compliment!

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet lunch outside with our puppy. The food was delicious, the server was friendly and competent and the outside area was private for quiet conversation. A great choice for lunch!

I lead our car club tour to this location for dinner. Made reservations a week earlier for 17. They were all setup and ready for us when we arrived. They waited on us quickly and we got our food in great time. We were seated in the bar, but the tv volume was low so we could talk without issues. I got a soup and salad, the soup was excellent and the salad was very good, but too much for me to eat.

Server was very busy and did not get to our table right away. Apologized and definitely made up for rocky start! Overall happy with food and service.

Made reservation two weeks prior. Upon arrival restaurant mostly empty. Hostess puts us in side room at table next to bathroom door and kitchen door several feet way. I checked dining room and asked to be relocated. Hostess refused saying those tables were for same reservation time I had. I questioned why since we were ontime for our reservation we couldn't be seated as first come first serve. Still refused and was rude. People started coming in 20 mins after us and no one was seated in runoff area we were in until we were leaving. I asked to speak to manager who was not at location but a senior employee came to apoogize. It was just bad. However, food was very good even though the soup and salad came with the meal instead of before

Almost Home is consistently good service and food. One of the better dining options in Greencastle where you can find some healthier options on the menu. I've had the salmon and the chicken bruschetta for dinner and both are very good. My husband likes the tilapia dinner. Wish they had more options for my vegetarian gluten free daughter, but soup and salad from their menu will have to suffice for now. We will definitely be going back while my daughter is at DePauw.
