   Dinner for six for a retirement celebration. We shared 3 appetizers...baby brie, fried asparagus and calamari. All were outstanding. Upon our recommendation, 2 of our friends ordered the lobster bisque. Unfortunately, it was so salty it was inedible and was sent back. Everything else was good and our waiter was very personable. We'll go back and suggest Alexander's to others...we just won't order the bisque again.

   My husband and I go to Alexander's fairly regularly. The food and service is consistently good. Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner are all excellent. We had dinner this past Saturday night, and Larry was our server. Larry is kind, personable, attentive and laid-back---he makes it feel like you are eating at his house :). We always get the Vanilla Bean Cheesecake. Always. It's a must if you haven't tried it.

   there were 4 of us, 2 couples. I ordered, forget the name, michigan trio? It was 3 different kinds of fish. Although it was tasty, the amount of food you get wasnt worth the price. my girlfriend had shrimp scampi, and she wasnt impressed. She went so far to say that she has no interest in going back. I differ on that because of all the interesting looking things in the menu. I will give it another chance. my dinner had no rice, or noodles that came with it. the fish, and a veggie. that was it. Salad was extra. I will go again and try something like a steak or something...

   Food was good. Prices were a little higher than I think they should be. Small portion sizes and food wasn't THAT good $$$$$.

   We have been to Alexander's a few times for dinner and special occasions and have always been pleased with the food and service. We had not tried their Sunday brunch until this weekend, (Easter). The buffet was excellent! Especially enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, prime rib, baked chicken and the table side mimosa. The hubby really enjoyed the steamed mussels. They handled the crowd extremely well by taking orders for the omelets instead of having people line up and wait. This kept the line much shorter. They also had the hot items at the end of the buffet, which meant the food was still hot by the time you returned to your table. I have been to buffets for twice the price and been disappointed. This was extremely affordable and very enjoyable. I would recommend it highly. We will try their regular Sunday brunch very soon!

   This restaurant does so many things well, it is hard to focus on just a few. Our meals were definitely gourmet quality, yet the price wasn't. Great service. We were not rushed. The ambiance was relaxing and the staff was very friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back, even though we have to travel an hour to get there. It was a wonderful dining experience.

   We come here often and have never had a bad experience. The food is fabulous! Homemade soups and dressings delicious. The whole waitstaff are excellent. They know the menu, are very helpful but not too in your face bothersome. It can get a bit noisy when they have a full house but this is where we go when we want to treat ourselves and stay close to home

   We decided to go here on a whim, as we were passing through and in search of seafood. We quick made a reservation on opentable and even got in a little earlier than our time. The service was great. Pam was very attentive and made sure that we had what we needed. We had fresh oysters for our appetizer and they were very good. The Chilean sea bass was awesome; however, it was not served with any vegetables - which surprised me. The lobster bisque was outstanding & we enjoyed the private label wine (sauvignon blanc). I would definitely come here again and would recommend to a friend!

    The menu is varied with many meat and fish selections. All dishes were good except for the jambalaya which was pretty terrible: way too much tomato paste, not enough spice, and mussels so small that they were hard to find in their shells. Good drinks and excellent service.
