After reading excellent reviews, we took my mother, a Brighton resident, to this terrific restaurant. The decor is not its most notable feature, but when the food is as excellent as it was, that is not a significant factor. Each dish had unique, subtle, but discernible flavors. The bruschetta was as delicious as any that I have ever had. The seafood in my pasta was impeccably prepared, and the tomato sauce coated the pasta beautifully and had fantastic flavor. My mother loved her shrimp scampi, and the ravioli with crab was delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient and the prices were extremely reasonable, given the fact that we ate seafood and that it was so expertly prepared and presented.

We eat here fairly often. Its location is "a little out of the way" so you can usually get immediate seating. They have a steak and lobster special from Sunday to Wednesday? or Thursday? that is very reasonably priced and good. Their Sunday brunch is excellent but pricey. The service is excellent. On the weekends they have a live singer.

Three of us at the table had the special which was outstanding. The wait staff were very nice and professional and allowed us to stay and chat without interruptions

My husband and I were looking for a nice restaurant to eat out at for a last minute date night which doesn't happen too often. This place fit the bill. Dinner was great. Service was great. We were able to make last minute reservations so that we did not have to worry about taking too long to eat. Will definitely come back again.

The soup and salad were really good so I was excited to get my entree. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and scallops. The scallops were a little under cooked but the fish was cooked perfectly. The problem was it was just fish and scallops on the plate. Nothing special. It was very bland. The best thing on the plate was the risotto which was amazing but I could have gotten that for less than $29!!

We went there for brunch and they had an awesome buffet. They also had a Bloody Mary bar that was great! The people working there were very nice. Great experience and I would go back many times.

My husband and I do not get out without the children very often, and this was the perfect spot for a relaxing, dining experience. Our only complaint was that it was a bit chilly sitting next to the windows...a screen may help curb the draft. The wait staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the service was impeccable and the food was perfectly prepared! The lobster bisque was packed with great lobster flavor and the presentation with the lump of lobster on top of a house made crouton was beautiful. My husbands surf and turf of filet and lobster tail was perfectly prepared and over the top...much larger tail than he expected. I highly recommend the Alexander Signature...best scallops I've had in years. We will definitely keep this on our list for special occasions!!

Came to Alexander's with a dear friend from out of town. Our server, Kelly was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the menu as well as the wine list. Great recommendations on both. The Alexander's Signature dish was delicious. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. A delightful dinner all around.
