I ordered the portobello fries, salmon with a baked potato, and salad with ranch dressing. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

We had the prime rib which was supremely undercooked and the BBQ chicken which was super dry and very hard to chew and swallow. When we only ate through half and called it quits, the waitress was surprised. Feedback was given about the food and she gave us a funny look. Food is WAY overpriced. Still trying to figure it why when you pay a pretty penny for it.

The main reason to go to the Madonna Inn is to enjoy the kitschy historic decor and atmosphere. It hasn't change in 50 years and completely does the trick on that front. The last time I visited they had a number of exciting specials and this time it was the same old standard menu. You do get a lot of extras with your meal - soup or salad, bread and an antipasto appetizer, so you won't walk away hungry. The food was fine, but not spectacular. We had a filet mignon and the pork chop, both cooked nicely. Was happy the asparagus still had some crunch to it and it was delicious. The "baked potato" is wrapped in gold foil, and while it looks pretty, it steams the potato rather than bakes it. There were two major downsides to the evening. One is that as I was enjoying my clam chowder, a nearby table table over received a lobster dinner. I cannot stress how horrible that entree smelled. It was like the garbage can from a fish market was dropped off and it totally permeated my ability to enjoy my chowder. The only saving grace, is that the offending meal departed before we received our main meal. I was shocked at how nasty such an expensive item was handled and I only hope the guy on his first date didn't end up getting sick. The other issue is the live music was not fine dining music, but a pastiche of Country and songs from the 70s. It didn't match the atmosphere, though a few Boomers did get out on the dance floor. Bless them. I would still return. Just hope the lobster stench improves.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing and the drinks were strong. The music was calm but entertaining. The ambiance was amazing. It had a great shopping area. Definately needed more time to explore.

Overall, everything was very good. Most of the food was excellent, especially the proteins. The only complaint on food was that the pilaf was terrible. Actually, while called pilaf, it was just flavorless rice as it hadn't been browned or seasoned. The service was pretty good, although the salads got goofed up and my water glass was empty for quite a while. Long wait for the check.

Definite throw back to another time. The decor is over the top and definitely something to see. There are different rooms and where we were, there was a big band playing great music and lots of people on the dance floor. Great energy. Where it falls flat is the food. It too is lost is another time and quite disappointing. The included salad had sad lettuces (though was pretty large) and very overdressed with bottled dressing. The bread was forgettable with whipped butter product, and the baked potato was mushy and tasted of a school cafeteria. My pork chop was pretty sweet but brined & cooked nicely. My husband's filet was huge, but as filet goes, an 8.5 out of 10. My best compliment is for the fresh asparagus. A slice of black forest cake for dessert was better looking than tasting. The servers too look outdated and lack finesse. Overall, it's really expensive but it's an experience and you're also paying for the band. Wouldn't go back but glad I went once.

My wife and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary and will definitely be back. The food was excellent, atmosphere was great. They even blessed us with a free slice of cake of our choice. Did I say, slice? It was a BIG slice.

We were sat quickly, but the tables were set up very close together and we and another table were moved due to people not being able to get up to go to buffet. After that, great. The food was amazing and service was good. We plan on returning next year.

Easter brunch was delicious. A variety of foods for every pallet. Eggs, ham, sausage, potatoes, fruit trays, omelette station, pancakes, raisin French toast, coffee and juices. Not to mention the delightful Madonna Inn mini pastries. You didn’t leave hungry. The service was exceptional. We relaxed and were not rushed to finish our meal. The value for the meal was just right!
