While we are not a fancy, we believe in amazing food, fun specialty drinks, and great entertainment! We value our guests and believe in goodwill and hospitality. AJ's is proud to be serving up the top 2% of USDA Prime Beef offered in the Nation and we like to top it off with a premium martini. We feature mouth-watering steaks & great seafood including Local Alaska Scallops, King Crab, Fresh Halibut & Salmon in a friendly old town atmosphere! This venue also offers fun family entertainment & dinner music. Established in 1941 as the Homer Cafe and Club it was the first bar in Homer and has been serving up delicious fare and drinks for over 70 years.

We had a filet, Oscar style. It was one of the best we’ve had. The sides were very good and the honey Brie appetizer delicious. Drinks were also very good. Cucumber Collin’s and an Old Fashioned. It was busy but service was great. Definitely make a reservation!

Food was way over priced for quality, service was great. But will not be back, our second time trying it. Menu was very boring, didn’t have many options, and the one thing we wanted they were out of and wouldn’t substitute it for something else (without charge) since they were out of the item. We don’t mind paying a big bill, but when the food quality is equal to a steak and shake, that’s when it’s not worth it.

I was looking forward to ordering the Reuben sandwich. The server said they were out of Reuben. I ordered a burger and it was over cooked and dry. The server did not ask me how I wanted to cook the meat. Very disappointed especially traveling from Kansas.

We learned about this from a guy in the Anchorage airport. I only hope I will be able to pass on this exceptional find. The food was amazing. The vibe-old school with a piano player. The service was great-friendly and efficient. The prices were fair. If I lived closer, this would be my hangout.
