   The restaurant itself was lovely, as was the food. Unfortunately, the toilets were not in service when we were there and the only solution was to go to the Yo Sushi restaurant across the road. It was quite a cold day, so running outside to go to the bathroom during what was supposed to be a leisurely afternoon tea, was not ideal. It also meant that the venue itself was a little cold, from people opening the door. Assuming the toilets are working, would definitely recommend - the staff were lovely, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was good. Thoroughly enjoyable.

   We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children. The children were made to feel welcome and catered for. When we came to pay we were only charged for the adult afternoon teas. The cakes were delicious.

   Went to BBbakery at county hall with three friends for afternoon tea. We really enjoyed ourselves, the tea was good, the service was good. But the food was excellent. The savoury part of the afternoon tea was fantastic, as were the cakes. In the menu online it says scones are included, and the waitress did promise us scones after we finished the tray with sweet and savoury snacks, but sadly they never arrived. We found this a bit strange, but overall the experience was quite good. It could have been a bit cheaper.. but I suppose you get what you pay for, and the food was very, very good.

   I booked this for a group of hospitality students to experience afternoon tea. The atmosphere, ambience, service and food were supberb. Presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. It gave the perfect feeling of a traditional quaint English afternoon tea

   To be honest, this was very disappointing. I don't believe in writing mass long negative feedback but simply wasn't up to the standard you would expect. There are plenty of higher quality afternoon tea venues around that would provide a much more valuable experience

   Really lovely tea house, with a great bakery. Teas are limited but good, service was not that good but friendly.

   From the pictures I was expecting a lovely old fashioned room slightly French in style. The teas were actually served in the corner of a room where people coming in to have lunch or simply buying cakes from the counter were walking through, so the ambience was disappointing. The sandwiches were actually small rolls, I was happy with this, but if you prefer finger sandwiches which was what was advertised it could have been disappointing. The tea, coffee and orange juice were fine. Without doubt the day was saved by the cakes, including the scones. These all looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Overall I thought it was good value for money, but I think they need to find a way of making a special area for serving the teas.

   We had high expectations for this Christmas afternoon tea but sadly were disappointed for a variety of reasons. At £32 it wasn't a cheap tea but if it had been better, that would have been fine. Half way through the tea, when asking where the toilets were, we were told they were out of service and we had to use the ones across the road at Yo Sushi. They had been out of order for a week! not nice when it's a cold day! There were 5 of us but we were only brought 4 teas and had to ask for another! After we had eaten our tea, my friend heard someone at another table ask for the scones. We too asked if there were scones and they were then brought. We felt if we hadn't asked for them they wouldn't have come. Waiters not very attentive.

    BB Bakery Afternoon Tea Covent Garden, venue moved from County Hall a few days earlier due to problems. The tea at £26 was good value, sandwiches, lots of cakes and scones. We were a group of 20 which they struggled with a little. Service to start was slow, we didn't get a menu, so guests didn't know what to expect. Drinking tea selection very poor and we had to ask for tea menus and the tea arrived well after the sandwiches, which were not finger or on cake stands, though nice. Scones arrived after the cakes so most people didn't eat them (didn't know they were coming), so took them home. Scones average. I would go back, but with a much smaller group, based on value, but I prefer a more traditional afternoon tea.
