The presentation of both dishes, steak and pasta, was unappetizing. The steak was tough and drenched in sauce. The seafood pasta had very few pieces of seafood and the sauce looked like and tasted like an unseasoned can of plum tomatoes. They ran out of the dish I ordered originally. Pasta was my second order. Seemed like the chef has multiple issues. The waitress was the only redeeming feature of the evening.

We looked at the menu online before coming. They advertised smoked salmon Benedict. When we got there it was traditional eggs Benedict and was cold. Also advertised carved ham with a sauce. It was roast pork being carved and it wasn’t tender. Wasted most of it. The price was $35 and I think that was excessive for the quality of the food. When I asked back in October it was only $25. The made to order pasta bar and the desserts were the best part of the meal.

Our biggest disappointment was traveling with 4 couples and they will not split the bill into couples. We all have different spending priorities with drinks, and food. They only wanted to split with 2 credit cards. I find a golf resort should be able to accommodate couples traveling together.

Our experience did not match the premium pricing and location. The staff was wonderful, but apparently poorly trained. They failed to keep water glasses full, amd they did not clear unoccupied settings until we asked. The chef was generous with my asparagus, but failed to trim the stem ends resulting in several inedible butt ends that were yellow and stringy. Additionally, it was really cold in the restaurant amd was not at all romantic. I had to go back to our room twice to get extra clothes for both my wife and I. That kind of ended any potential romance when your spouse is frozen like a popsicle. Oh, and then when we got back to our room we only had tepid water when we tried to shower. This felt more like a hotel 8 versus a premium anything….

Nikki was pleasant and helpful. The half-circle elevated tables bit tight and awkward to get in and out of for buffet style dining. Nick was most attentive as well. Nice Experience for Mother's Day celebration.
