   Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my 14-year-old grandson last night. Tiffany was an attentive server, the food ( we both ordered the filet with potatoes and Brussel sprouts) was beautifully presented and flavorful, and it was a beautiful evening with the best view in Traverse City.    Love the view, the prices for the food not so much. It was okay, nothing to write home about. Was cooked good. But the food was way over seasoned. If I wanted tacos, would have went else where. Nice lounge for a cocktail and view. I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Price to taste is way off. Much better food in Traverse for this price.

   The staff and food were wonderful. The only shortcoming was that they had no asparagus on the menu. We enjoyed brussel sprouts from 1,000 miles away, but alas, no asparagus from the fields 10 minutes down the road. Please adjust!

   The brunch was very nicely done and had a great selection. We have had omelettes all over the world and on numerous, numerous, numerous cruise ships. This was the absolute best omelet that we have ever had , buffet or otherwise.

    First off, the view is why you would come here. It's on the 16th floor and there isn't a bad table in the house. Even just to come for a drink at the bar is worth the trip. The waitress was extremely approachable, but didn't intrude on our dining at all. There was no rush for us to finish, which is a rare thing these days as diners usually like to make a meal a social outing and not be rushed out the door. The buffet selection was great according to all at our table. The dessert table was outstanding. There were many selections and I loved how they were small portions so you could try several without feeling like you were missing out on them. I definitely will be returning.

    Didn’t realize it was only brunch buffet, no menu ordering. We did not eat much due to dietary restrictions. It wasn’t busy which means food just sits there in warming pans and several items looked overcooked. Quality of food was mediocre, nothing fancy. Ambience was nice and staff were attentive. Overall it did not meet my expectations. But don’t let that stop you from trying it out. Everybody looks for different things!

    My experience at Aerie Restaurant & Lounge was disappointing. My party felt as if we were overlooked by our server. The price of the filet did not match the quality of the cut of meat and the cocktails were gross. Overall underwhelming.

    Beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. Service was great, very attentive and had some good recommendations. Duck was probably the best I’ve ever had, the cook was spot on and the sauce and purée complimented the breast perfectly.

    Appetizers were great (charcuterie and ansari), the filet that I ordered medium came out medium well+… our server was wonderful Though staffing was short which impacts everything. The view is of course stunning, but everything is definitely over priced ($68 for a very small filet?!).

    After several outstanding dinners at Aerie, my wife and I decided to go for Sunday buffet brunch. It was a big disappointment. No chicken of beef entree (not counting a gluey ribeye mac and cheese) was an unwelcome surprise. Other sub-par offerings were tater tots smothered in a white cheese, a nearly tasteless and mushy shrimp and grits, cool bacon, and inexpensive grocery store breakfast sausage. On the positive side, there was some nice fresh fruit, tasty roasted vegetables and an omelet station with friendly staffers. But I wouldn't call it much more than a breakfast buffet that you'd find in a generic Marriott property. At the price point of $35, and since we have had truly fine dinners there, I expected a much better effort and variety. Go there for dinner but skip what's being offered as Sunday brunch.

    My husband and I invited 4 guests. Set up was not easy to navigate. Had to walk halfway around the restaurant to get to the buffet and back to our table through lots of people after getting food. Prime rib and fish were not hot. Difficult to get salad on plate due to the amount of goat cheese.sticking to tongs. Maybe have it on the side to add? Areas were crowded and my invited guests were unable to get a crepe. 2 teen guests were told to go downstairs after going up to second floor just to see the view. $12.00 for a mimosa? Sorry I only left a little over a l0% tip for our server Tiffany. She was great, but the overall cost was not worth it. Loud kids did not help. Maybe have a separate area for families? We wanted to have a quiet Easter brunch. This was not the experience I planned for my guests.

    In the past, non Alcoholic drinks were included in the price of the brunch. A little disappointed that a refill on orange juice was charged full price. Also was not informed that is was an extra charge for any refills other than water. I will recommend the lounge to a friend but will advise about the drinks.

    The food and service was amazing. I had the duck breast and my wife had the salmon both were excellent. Cooked perfectly and delicious. Our server Kelly was great. She knew the menu and made great recommendations. Overall an incredible experience.

    They have a gem as far as location and view. Staff was wonderful but the menu was limited. Menu was too small and options were not great. If you did not have something you really wanted to paid a high price for settling. We ended up with an appetizer we were were not jumping up and down for, wine and desserts. Lat two were great. Next time I will start backwards with dessert and wine and go from there. Call and ask what is on the menu before you go so your not disappointed.

    We went for a Hawaiian brunch and were very disappointed. The meats were undercooked or dry, desserts had brown bananas on top, cocktail very watered down. We did not eat and our meal was comped.

    I went during restaurant week and it was only 1/3 full. Our server, Michael, was quite dull and seemed to be wandering around looking at his tables, but not doing anything…. He lingered too long at our table after food was delivered and it was awkward. It was a somewhat strange experience. The Caesar salad was good minus the crunchy anchovies, the filet was great and cooked perfectly, the truffle mashed potatoes were overly truffled and salted in not a good way. I sent back my first dessert (cherries jubilee) because it was just soupy vanilla ice cream and cherries. The death by chocolate cake was dry and very underwhelming for restaurant week. We had a bit higher expectations…. The ambiance was too fancy for up north MI in the winter with people dressed in jeans and hoodies, etc. maybe they should change it to be more comfortable atmosphere instead of stuffy. The views are great from the top floor!

    The food was fantastic! We begged Dhasha for an appetizer (to make our evening last a bit longer) and she checked with the chef and wowed us! Thank you for the charcuterie board! The husbands in our party like to mess with the servers and Dhasha took it like a trooper. She gave great service! Our party eats out together every Friday night. It’s nice to have a server that can smile and get your jokes. Did I mention that the food was incredible? Thanks for a fun night!
