    Good service and beautiful atmosphere, the highlights included the duck confit small plate and the seabass entrée, Caesar salad was very underwhelming and overall everything is very pricey for what you get but this is a great spot for a special occasion - be here by 6:30 pm for golden hour through sunset!

    I think this is probably the priciest restaurant in traverse city and we have given it more than one shot, unfortunately we always leave disappointed in the food. We love the ambiance and service. Wonderful wine list and enjoyed the charcuterie board. The steak is an amazing choice but the sides were too salty to eat. Also, the $60+ lamb dish was one of the worst meals I have ever had; it was overcooked and the sauce it was served with was full of herb stems. Not what you would expect for fine dining. We would absolutely go sit in the bar and have a drink, but the third time was not a charm for food.

    Unfortunately not at all what I was expecting. The offerings were okay just nothing at all for children although I realize that’s not their normal clientele. Took awhile to have anyone check on us even though it was a brunch buffet however they were quite busy. The view is beautiful but I don’t think I would visit again.

    Wednesday August 9 must have been an off night in the kitchen. The tuna tartare was inedible topped off with a hard boiled, crumbled egg yolk - yuck. The cheese tray only included 2 hard cheeses, bread & butte pickle slices and 4 meat slices. The only two redeeming parts of dining were the cocktails, our server, Taylor, and her manager, Marvin. It's time to hire a new and creative chef.

    First time here and it’s truly a beautiful view that easily sets the mood for a romantic dinner. The service was also excellent! I admit a bit of disappointment with the food personally (perhaps a bit more variety than fennel salad and chutney) but the Salmon was well prepared and I would return for something else on the menu. Especially with the view for a sunset dinner.

    Beautiful setting 16th floor of the Grand Traverse resort overlooking the bay. Great service, zero complaints on the food, just not a very extensive menu for the price (paying for the view). Great for a very special event.

    our evening was outstanding, we were early and were able to be seated right away. we were told that the chicken dishes were not very spicy but they were, didn't think the filet was worth $80.00 but was very flavorful, the sea bass was outstanding would order it again in a heartbeat. Service was great

    Overall great however the chef decided to serve bread with olives baked in it. Hate olives! I realized I didn't have to pay for the bread, but it would have been nice to have a bread option without olives.

    Compared to the Trillium (former owner and name) it is a bit less of an experience, but still a worthy destination once or twice a year. I also think a glass of orange juice should be included with the $32 Sunday brunch.

    Overal great restaurant atmosphere with a beautiful view of the bay. We scheduled a reservation for lunchtime on a Sunday. However, we did not know that they only do a Sunday brunch buffet and no dinner menu. I was really bummed about this. However, the brunch buffet was very filling in very appropriately priced.

    Food was above average. Main courses were well prepared the chicken was good and the fish was well prepared. The sides left something to be desired. The overall experience was not up to par with the prices they are charging. The restaurant relies more on view and location then it does the quality of the food and service.

    Food was REALLY good and our server was quite good too. The filet was done perfectly and the side Asparagus was so tasty. The sight lines are outstanding. However the bar service was super slow (took at least 15-20mins for initial cocktails) and they didn’t have ability to make mojitos? They also forgot we were celebrating a special occasion which had been mentioned to them when booking it. For a pricey restaurant , it’s important to connect all the dots vs just have good food.
