Overpriced. Alaskan king crab legs came out cut into pieces and served with margarine instead of real butter. Normally Alaskan king crab meat is sweet, these tasted like they were refrozen which will take the sweetness away. Escargot was tasteless, sauce very watery. Staff lovely but forgot to get some items we requested.

The service was mediocre at best. Felt very rushed. We were not done with our appetizers when they came to say the entrees were on the way out and cleared our plates. Entrees didn't come out for a least another 6-8 minutes. Once the food was delivered we could not find a waiter for another drink, to pour our wine or get the check. Food was very good but very expensive. Entrees were upward of $40. Will not be going back!

Adega grill - it’s a good experience. All the food we ordered for 6 adults and a toddler was tasty. Only issue I had I wish there was less salt on the cod fish. On Saturday this area is congested so give yourself more time to park and get to the restaurant. They do have parking which was helpful. The prices are higher than the average for Newark.

It was sort of empty and I we went specifically so I could get a specific dish. The young man said that dish was only on the dinner menu, so I asked him to check with the Chef and he just got into a rant for some reason, THEN he asked me if there was some specific dish that I want so I said YES and then he said he can make an appetizer size of it!! ANYWAY, so happy we persevered, bc it was so delicious!! It may have been lost in translation! Delicious beyond belief! I had the same dish in another French restaurant, and it was terrible! Imagine that! The drink he offered us was fantastic too! It's a Portuguese Martini! U have to try it! First time guests and we will b back when in town again! They have a very upscale and modern bar area, but the dining room is very traditional, with a wonderful fireplace!! street parking was easy!

We’ve been going to Adela Grill for over 20 years and it never disappoints. They have updated their food quite a bit. The veal Marsala is now done with veal chops on the bone and it was delicious. My mariscada was also updated and equally as delicious. We got a tour of the bar and party space upstairs and are trying to come up with an excuse to do a party up there. Adela never disappoints.

Picked this restaurant by chance and I am so happy that I did. The ambiance was special, felt like being in a beautiful old wine cellar. The service....outstanding! Come hungry because the portions are large. I was with a party of four and we loved everything from the crab stuffed clams casino to the tartufo and flan. If you like fish, the Chilean sea bass with champagne sauce was delightful! My husband loved the paella, which can feed at least three people. Our friends had the lamb chops and stuffed shrimp and they were very happy with their meals. Next time I am in the area, I know where I am getting dinner again.

Food was very good. Service was a bit lacking. Ordered a large salad for table of 4, and was really only a single salad. Requested the salad have no onions, but arrived with onions. Waiter took it back and replaced with a new salad without dressing and didn’t come back to check. Was difficult to get our server to come back a few times and seemed to change servers midway through. Also tried to get the check and took about 20minutes. Our second visit was not as good as our first.

Plenty of food but quality wasn’t what I would have expected for the price. One guest got the prime rib and it was very fatty. Paella was salty and lacked protein. It wasn’t a totally disappointing meal just not what we expected. Sangria was extremely sweet. Service was very, very good.

We come every year for NYE dinner and whenever else we can during the year. This is our favorite restaurant. I had a steak. Everyone else had fish. Everything was delicious. The service is very professional. The wine list is very good. We are never disappointed. We will be back.

The food was great but the service was so slow . Major turn off , seems like they were low on staff but they didn’t communicate on expectations . I won’t be back anytime soon . This was my Christmas go too but next year will find somewhere else to dine .
