The restaurant is nice and quiet but it is overrated and over priced. Good service but the food was ok.

What a beautiful restaurant. Amazing service by Moses and team!!! Felt like a total VIP!!
Food was great. My only thing... I wish I had chosen outdoor dining. It was a little chilly, but that view all dinner would have been worth it. I was close to the window so had a beautiful view anyway :)

The food was cold and over priced for what it was. The service was lacking and slow. It is a good location and nice view but the menu is so over priced and disjointed, it’s not worth the spend. Go to a really nice steakhouse. You’ll pay the same and have better food.

The restaurant had lovely décor and a very nice ambiance. For our taste, the food was terribly over-salted. The service was acceptable, but we were left sitting an exceptionally long time after finishing our meal waiting for the bill even though the restaurant was not very busy when we were there. Finally, we do not live in San Diego, but we learned that it is the practice of some restaurants, Acqua being one, to tack on a 3.5% surcharge to cover the rise in the minimum wage, and then, adding insult to injury, the surcharge is taxed. At the very least, this practice should be well documented so that patrons are not surprised when they receive their bill. Will not return in the future.

This is a must-eat restaurant when visiting San Diego. The location is outstanding and the outdoor seating is fabulous, along with the food and ambience. As for the food, I highly recommend their appetizers....they are gourmet and to die for!

Spacious room with water views. Tables for some reason are really big - we moved one place setting to the side so we could hear each other. Another couple at the next table took our cue and did the same. Wait staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered the fish special and was unable
to eat it as it was tough and uncooked. I just sent the whole meal back and ordered something else which was perfect - scallops wrapped in bacon with lobster potato and shrimp . Quite delicious. My husband had the flat iron steak which was served with spinach and fries. He enjoyed it a lot. We shared a chocolate mousse with cherries for dessert. Very rich.
They did not charge us for the first fish dish and comped our dessert which was completely unexpected. The people at the next table also ordered the fish special - ate the vegetables and left the fish so it wasn't just me ! Returned for breakfast here the next morning and had scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and tomato with an English muffin. All nicely done. A whole pot of coffee is served with enough cream for several mug fulls. This is a nice hotel restaurant.

Great food, view and service. It was the 1st time eating there for my daughter-in-law she enjoyed the restaurant and the food. I've eaten there many times over the years the food and service have been consistently good.

This was a get together with friends, one of which was recently widowed. We wanted a quiet restaurant where we could talk and not have to compete with loud voices. It was extremely quiet as we were the only group eating inside as everyone else was outside. The manager was kind enough to compensate us with desserts for having a couple of lights worked on near our table. Our waiter, William was outstanding, very friendly, made excellent recommendations and was very attentive.

Over priced and though the restaurant was only moderately busy the service was not up to standard. I verymuch object to being charged a surcharge. Tips are in order if the service is exemplary. The additional charge to cover"minimum wage legislation" plus a surcharge and a splace on the bill for a tip is excessive.

We invited friends for a late lunch/early dinner to thank them for a recent favor. They live out of town and were delighted with the ambiance. We all enjoyed our food and the service was solicitous. There are a number of items designated as gluten free (which 2 of the 4 of us needed), and some other dishes can be made gluten free upon request. I will say the prices are on the high side and the portions for the most part modest.

Mission Bay at night, good family seating, Sea World views and fireworks. Attentive server's and varied cuisine at moderate prices. I start with the squash and lobster soup, and sword fish entrie, good portions. Did I mention the wine and cocktail bar was first rate. This hidden gem on the Bay is a must try for both in & out if towers.

We were supposed to spend our thanksgiving dinner with this restaurant. The restaurant closed at 10~ but we were able to make a reservation at 11pm. We went to the restaurant all over from Oceanside, but it closed. We spoke with the FrontDesk manager, they were surprised the restaurant closed. Too much surprises on a holiday.

We were staying at the resort over Thanksgiving and had our Thanksgiving meal here. The fixed price was $49 per plate and the meal we were served was worth half of that, maybe. This restaurant is way over priced and I would not recommend it to anyone.
