Bartender had no cocktail onions for my Gibson. You need a jar of them. Just $2.99 at Dierbergs. Fortunately I brought my own. We asked for a quiet table where we could hear ourselves. Back room was really noisy. Part of the scene I guess. We were the last table to leave so, yes, we enjoyed being there and our meals and Jerry, our waiter.

Firstly, the service provided by Jess was outstanding, and the experience made all the better by a perfect meal! My wife went light with a mixed green salad and the Egg Raviolo, which she greatly enjoyed. I had a 4-course tasting meal of mixed greens, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and the Beef Tenderloin. We capped dinner off by sharing a Strawberry Gelato and Cannoli! Who could ask for more!

Zurn did a wonderful job with the meal and explaining all of the features of the wine. Food was fantastic!! Experience was Spot On! 5- 4 Course Tastings 4- Wine Pairings! We will be back for another Exceptional Meal!!

Wonderful night! We opted for the four course tasting menu. One Choice from each part of menu, (up to four), starter, salad,pasta,entree or dessert. Each are 1/2 orders. By the time we were finished we were stuffed. All this for under $58 per person drinks extra. They also have a seven course tasting menu chefs choice for $100 per person. We’re coming back to try that next! Great food, great atmosphere and great service!! Definitely recommend

Acero is amazing! Chef Nick and crew took such good care of us and they were especially accommodating to my Gluten Free husband. We all did the 4-Course Tasting menu and it is definitely the way to go! Thank you for a great night! Everything was delicious !

We had the 7 course chef's tasting paired with wine. It was FABULOUS! I love the surprise of not knowing what the courses will be. Each course was delicious, and the wine pairings were perfect. Service was outstanding! Definitely my favorite restaurant in the St. Louis area!

The food was fantastic and great atmosphere for 3 couples. Our server was the most rude and obnoxious server encountered….ever. Was rude to one of our guests with his rude remarks when a question about the menu was asked.

I think of Acero as being an outstanding, always count-on-able restaurant. So I was disappointed in our experience last night. We sat in the back room which lacks the ambiance and charm the front room provides, my salad mista was wilted, and the special was just okay. It was quite loud and hard to hear each other speak. Overall, a bit disappointing!

Wow! What an unbelievable experience it was our second time having dinner here and it is the perfect date. They have an incredible wine list and the tasting menu is the absolute way to go. Our server was incredible and gave us great recommendations. Our meal was paced appropriately and delicious!

The place is small and a little loud. But the food is incredible. We did the chefs tasting and tried 8 different things (each of us did 4 course and shared) the espresso martini was amazing. Service was good as well.

Flawless. My husband and I went to Acero to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. They greeted us warmly and everyone there knew about our celebration. The menu even mentioned it (it was a customized menu, of course). The food, pace, and service were outstanding. What a lovely and memorable time. Enjoy!

It was an early dinner on a Friday, so we did the four course tasting menu (the larger tasting menu is only an option after 7pm). We put our waiter in the driver's seat, and added the wine pairing, which was a great choice. Would go that route every time!

Overall lovely night! Impressed that we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary.” The menus even had an anniversary message for us at the top and we were able to keep them, nice touch. Server was attentive and meal arrived promptly. Food was delicious! We ordered the beet salad, Mediterranean Sea bass and the scallops—salad and scallops were our favorites. Wish we’d have asked for a different table—we were seated at a small table in the middle of the room. Knowing it was our anniversary, would appreciate a table out of the spotlight. My fault for assuming the other tables were booked. Look forward to returning soon
