The atmosphere was great. The music was subtle which allowed for great conversatuon. The feel is that of a small European pub. A great time all around.
Beef tartare amazing as always but maybe a little too warm, remember it being much more cooler. Our server was nice but one server for a full house means extremely slow service. I feel bad for the amount of stress this may cause staff. Waited about 30 mins after we finished eating before I had to grab her to get our bill. Would always return as this place is a great gem of Whyte Ave but please put another person on the floor!
Great food great service...simple menu all 4 dishes we tried were awesome
Food & service very good as always.
Excellent house wine choices. Sauces for the entree can be improved to reach next level. Overall, a regular spot for us to visit from time to time.
Food and service was Excellent!
I found the food to be absolutely above average. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich with fries and greens. We found everything, even the fries, to be very very good.
Excellent selection of small brewery beers, and lots of local to choose from.
We enjoyed the relative silence of the space on a Friday night, and the service was good without being overwhelming. I would recommend it.
Food was very good. The goulash was not as tender as usual. The pork schnitzel was excellent. Service was fine. There was one loud table that detracted from the usually quiet atmosphere.
I have been to Accent Lounge several times and have not been disappointed. You do have to be aware that as a small restaurant they do order limited food and on occasion will run out of ingredients. The highlight of this restaurant for me is the beef tartare. Best I have ever had and consistent each time. I would recommend thus restaurant without hesitation.
Good schnitzel and drinks. Friendly service. Nice cozy atmosphere.
My boyfriend took us here on a date before a show. The food was delicious and came to the table piping hot. Tried a fantastic local beer. It's a small place so reserve early if you want more of a quiet atmosphere. I wanted to try the steak but they were out that day. I had the salmon and it was a more than fair substitute. My date had the chicken shitzel , also delicious.
Excellent Tartare as usual we go there just to have some. Great selections on the menu, not extensive, but a very nice selection, something for everyone. Half price wine Thursdays is our favorite night to go.
We had a wonderful time here again.
Service, food and ambience was wonderful
The food was good but not great. We would recommend the salads and the delicious goulash, but the schnitzel -- listed on the menu as a signature dish -- was just okay. Service was excellent, and the restaurant is well located for dinner before a show at the Walterdale, so we would definitely give it another try.
Was super busy and had a great atmosphere. Great value for the cost and quality- we would go back again!
Always great food. Although desserts tend to be not quite on par with main course. AKA I tend not to order them lol. (Favourites Bruschetta and Goulash)
I have been to Accent a number of times and it never disappoints. Definitely an Edmonton hidden gem. One of the best restaurants in Edmonton
A cute place. We used a deal off yelp nd we’re quite excited to try this restaurant after reading all the reviews! We had the spicy shrimp to start. It was extremely bland. There was no flavour except that of the shrimp. I wanted to ask for salt. To add anything to them. I had the Lobster wrapped bacon. Again the cream sauce on top was bland. I believe it was a Hollandaise. It tasted like air. I should add that everything was cooked perfectly!! It was just lacking in flavour. My BF has the salmon. It was good but the noodles it came with with just tossed in olive oil. So bland again. A nice rose sauce would have added to it perfect. I will definitely try this again and hope the cooks just had a busy night. It was also pretty tight quarters with. Cozy feel. Staff was attentive and great. I asked what kind of coffee they served and the server told me nothing exciting. They got it from Costco. That was too bad they didn’thave a great cup of coffee to come me the night.
Both the food and the service were very good. The tartar was the best I have had in Edmonton. We will be going back .
This was a pleasant surprise and well worth a visit. Restaurant is tucked away - almost out of sight. The interior is warm and inviting and the food superb!
