I applaud them for being open but found the servings smaller than experienced in the past. Had an issue with a side dish and the wait person spent more time defending the mistake than taking care of it.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday had a great time. The steak was delicious. It’s was our first time and we would go back again.
We have been to this restaurant several times - the food was very good but thought the drinks were pricey. I ordered a glass of rose recommended by the waiter and it was $22.00 for the glass which I think the waiter should have told me how much it was. Same thing happened when my son ordered a glass of Pinot noir which was $24.00!!
Food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. Our new favorite restaurant!
Probably the best hamburger in the City for the price and I had it without the bacon. Perfectly prepared. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
I am always enjoy the delicious food at Abe and Louise .This is one of our favorite restaurant in Boston for any occasion ..👍🏼🍸🍰🍷💋
We love it here. Always at the top of our ‘restaurants to visit in Boston’ list. Never disappoints, always delights. Thank you Abe & Louis, we had a fab evening.
Amazing experience every time...my favorite Boston restaurant and favorite all time restaurant...phenomenal everything
most perfectly cooked steak I have ever had, excellent wine and cocktails, the lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach were tremendous and the mushrooms elevated the steak to perfection
Long wait to be seated. Excellent and delicious steaks and sides. Extremely attentive service. Best steak house in Boston
The food was absolutely amazing, as was the service! Very pricey but worth it!
First time here. Five of us for family dinner. Atmosphere was noisy and made it hard to hear. Waiter was tough to understand but seemed nice and attentive. Food arrived fairly timely but my daughter got wrong meal / ordered salmon but got a filet mignon. She did not want to wait for new meal and she did like her steak. The asparagus was over done. All in all in was just good - not great.
Great meal, outstanding service!
Thank you for a wonderful birthday for our
Som turning 21
Wonderful meal. Excellent and attentive service. Restaurant is located in the Copley area of Boston which is a beautiful area to visit. Can't wait to go again!
Excellent food made better by the attractive service, couldn’t have been more impressed.
Just medicore. Steak was delicious, as were the apps but everything else was fair. Run down bathrooms, intimidating entrance with three hostess staring down at you, couldn’t hear anything. Meh. So many better places for a traditional steakhouse dinner in Boston.
Disappointed in the food. The bacon appetizer wasn’t anything special. The pork chop was very disappointing. Husband said his lamb was good and other in our party said the filet was good. But for those prices we felt should’ve been a whole lot better. Service was great. World not go back though.
Great steak and excellent service !! Valet guys are funny and made experience even better .
Service was great, food excellent and ambiance was just what my daughter and I wanted to celebrate my husband's' 60th birthday! We will be returning the next time we visit Boston.
A great steakhouse
Always reliable. Very professional staff.
Our waiter Nick was very friendly and attentive. Great customer service experience from him and the hostess in front.
From the time we arrived at Abe and Louie’s we were warmly welcomed by the hostess to all the waitstaff and our waiter was very good. Our Brunch was excellent and we will make reservations again when we travel back to Boston.
Absolutely wonderful meal with exceptional service!
The food was fantastic as usual. The service was good but it has been better at previous occasions. We had a long wait between our meal and ordering dessert.
First dinner in Boston and we loved it! Kevin was the best. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Leap year birthday
We had two waiters. The first, who took our drink order was distracted and made us uncomfortable. We spoke with the manager and promptly received service from a different, exceptional waiter and also check-ins from management during dinner. A very responsive team.
A recent visit with my son. Seated upstairs. Carpeting looked dirty as did the windows. Filet Mignon perfectly cooked, creamed spinach a too heavy on the cream side, a bit soupy. Neighbouring table playing videos out loud. Service pleasant but pushy. Not an experience to rush back to given all the great steak houses in Boston.
Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Wide quality wine selection. Food presentation was exceptional and delicious. Special shout out to Patrick our server!!!!
This was an amazingly great experience. Loved everything.
I had the "pleasure" of standing next to what must be the maitre d for the 30 minutes it took to seat us (way past our reservation time) who was nothing short of an a-hole. Among things I learned - he used to be a driver for Giuliani, hates Michael Bloomberg, likes the Wo Hop chinese restaurant in NYC (and refers to it having a bar which is funny since it's been BYOB since the beginning of time).
Honestly not sure who this guy was - he was the old dude standing next to the bar picking fights about the presidential race with some poor guy from out of town who was trying to eat his steak. If the owners are reading this, you need to fire him.
The food? It was fine. It's a steakhouse in Boston. What else do you need to say? It ain't vegas baby.
Paid good money for the rib eye however it was a poor quality of beef although cooked ok
Experience was very good, Steak was cooked correctly.
