   A Cena is a neighborhood treasure. Gorgeous and lovingly crafted food, warm and attentive service, interesting and delicious wines and cocktails. The sweet corn and lobster agnolotti was one of the best dishes I have ever had!

   Some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had! The service was amazing and the manager checked on us quite a bit. We had the corn and mascarpone ravioli and the hand rolled penne with sausage. Sooooo good. The fresh focaccia bread was also really good. I’m certain every dish there is incredible. We will be back again soon!

   The menu is fairly small but I don't think you can go wrong with anything on it-the appetizers are always great ,this trip we had the Burrata -but I am a huge fan of their grilled Octopus.The pasta dishes are always wonderful-I am always happy with their Bolognese sauce but their vegetarian offerings are always delicious as well--I miss being able to order their pizza but they moved that operation next door,still available but not in A Cena.The wine menu has plenty of decently priced Italian Reds and the cocktails are always good.We've been going for almost two decades and never had a complaint-Due to Covid we had not been in over a year,but the staff and food quality were the same as before.I highly recommend it .

   Food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Went there for a birthday celebration and it was well worth it. Great place for a cozy date night or a family dinner. Either way you're sure to leave satisfied.

   I love this place. I've been here many times. BUT, on my latest visit, I was charged a $3.00 "rocks" fee for my whiskey. As a career server I understand upcharges on drinks, such as fresh grapefruit or a Manhattan, BUT THIS IS ICE in my glass. It feels like unnecessary price gouging. This is going to make me very hesitant to go back.

   George loved the grilled octopus appetizer and the eggplant parmesan. I had the Caesar Salad and Garganelli all Norcia. Absolutely loved it the pasta dish. Great service from Loris. We were celebrating our 51st anniversary and our first indoor restaurant seating in 16 months. A cena is always a favorite. Met other anniversary celebrants. Made it a fun evening.     We wondered what happened to all your outdoor seating. Sitting at the picnic table without chair backs was not terribly comfortable compared to your usual tables and chairs, but the food and service was wonderful as usual! Hope your outside seating will return to being a fine dining experience soon, especially since many of us are still uncomfortable dining indoors yet. Love your restaurant, no matter what!
