   For a lobster house, the lobster was surprisingly bad. Very rubbery, so clearly overcooked. Really disappointing.

   Our Server was very attentive and friendly, she got the order just by memory and she was knowledgeable about items on the menu. Great experience and food was awesome.

   I made a reservation for our anniversary dinner and requested a table by the window. When we arrived, the two young ladies at the hostess stand wanted to seat us at the first table by the door or outside. Neither were what we wanted or expected, and their attitude was horrible! I second guessed making the reservation, but our waitress Sara was FANTASTIC! She also brought dessert that we selected with a sparkler in honor of our anniversary, and advised the dessert was complimentary. The key lime pie was delicious, but our meals were “okay”. Honestly, we felt the hype and food was overrated and not anywhere near as good as the other meals we’ve enjoyed in Key West.

    Group of four experienced a wonderful dinner with great starters. A mix of seafood and beef for entrees with wine and cocktails. All was vey good , but not cheap, $1000 for all four of us (with tip).

    Food was ok. Definitely not more than ok. We all considered it overpriced for what we had. Everyone in our group was disappointed overall. There were four of us in the party everyone agreed. The free bread and butter actually was very very good. One of our party had a salad that was literally nothing but lettuce. I think from memory it was around $14 which is pretty pricey for a plate of lettuce. 2 had lobster that was tuff and grainy tasting. I had shrimp and scallops it was ok. Service was fair. Atmosphere was nice. Wouldn't recommend dinner. Maybe lunch.

    We were seriously disappointed with A&B after it being so hyped. The waiter was rude, my steak was over cooked and so was my husband’s lobster. They should have refunded us. Not a great experience at all. I would pass next time I’m in Key West.

    The service was great! Garret moved us to a quieter table when a large & loud group were seated next to us, that was very much appreciated! The lobster bisque had a good flavor but was way too creamy. My butter poached lobster was good, but my husband’s lobster Oscar was horrible! The crab on top was mostly breading and the lobster was so over cooked, it was like jerky. My husband asked me to try his lobster to get my opinion and I actually spit it out! Not sure how a restaurant known for lobster can get it so wrong! His rice was not good either, I ended up sharing my lobster with him so he would have something to eat. Garrett took some of the lobster back to show the chef and he did offer to comp dessert, but we didn’t want anything else. We were a little hesitant to keep the reservation in the first place because some people we met at our hotel were sick in their room after eating oysters Rockefeller at A & B. We would not recommend this place to anyone!

    What a wonderful meal! We initially were unable to make a reservation for an table outside, but the hostess was able to accommodate us when we arrived. After a few moments of enjoying a cocktail in Berlin’s, the restaurant’s intimate bar, we were enjoying our Surf and Turf and Lobster Thermidor in the salty air. Order the Double Espresso Martini for dessert! What a great experience!

    This was a birthday celebration for my husband and brother-in-law. The service by Katie was impeccable! All 4 of our meals were outstanding; the presentation beautiful. This was our 2nd time dining at A&B Lobster. We will return to dine here on our next trip to Key West and recommend it to our friends & family. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

    Very easy to work with, had to change reservation. Seated right away, the server came over and took drink orders. Brought drinks, shared specials, what she liked on the menu, and what was better than the other. The food was delicious, with a great wine list and desserts. In the end, we went to the bar, and they actually allowed our group to stay while they were cleaning up. Great place, great food, great service.

    The best group Oscar you will ever have- been getting it for the last 15 years- my wife strongly recommends the snapper menuire (sic). Ask for a porch table to enjoy the harbor view and more.

    We had really been looking forward to coming back after our previous dining experience here. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be back. We requested a table for 5 and let the restaurant know that it was for a birthday celebration. A 21st birthday at that. To start the 5 of us were seated at a 4 top with an extra chair added, which was very cramped and uncomfortable for 5 adults. We could barely fit the bread and butter on the table and there was certainly no room for us to order the sides that we wanted to share. The restaurant wasn't that busy and there were plenty of available six tops set and no one sat at them during our entire meal. Not what you would expect from a restaurant that touts itself as a fine dining establishment. The appetizers were delicious and we had a round of cocktails and probably would have had 2 had our server come to check on us. When she finally did come back we asked for a wine list and ordered wine, which was not brought out until we were almost done with our entrees. Had she come to check on us, I would have sent my lobster back which was cold, completely overcooked, and chewy. Although everyone else enjoyed theirs, I think I was just unlucky. We ordered dessert and I was hoping there would at least be a candle on it for my daughter's birthday -( the server even commented "Happy Birthday" when she checked her ID and saw she had just turned 21 and saw the birthday cards ) but there was nothing. Overall a very disappointing experience.

    We were looking forward to this meal from a friend's recommendation, but we're not nearly as impressed as we expected to be. The food was good, the service was ok, and the waterside view nice! For the price I guess we were just a little disappointed. Maybe a bit overhyped. Also, we were spoiled the night before because we ate at La Te Da and it was exquisite (for the same pricey price).

    Food is outstanding. Good service. Was a little windy outside and we finally notice that we could roll down the clear wind guards, it would have been nice had we known that a little earlier but didn’t affect our evening. Bar is so nice and had some nice music playing. Great atmosphere, reminds me of where you would think Frank Sinatra would hang out.

    Delicious from the Mango Mojito to the lobster tail. The oysters Rockefeller was outstanding. Lovely atmosphere and upscale dining but not pretentious. Vacation casual attire is the norm. Don’t miss this treasure and treat.

    Food portion was very small, very expensive, very overrated. We ate 2 baskets of rolls and my son bought a sandwich when we left the restaurant because he was hungry, he is 5’11 and weighs 161lbs. We are used to fine dining, and we know what to expect. A + B Lobster will not be a place I would recommend to friends and family. It is a tourist trap. $56 for a tiny lobster tail, 8 green beans and a table spoon size portion of mashed potatoes is not a great meal to me. There are so many other great places to eat in Key West.

    We went all out! Lobster bisque was rich, creamy with enough lobster. King Crab legs were single split and a very good size, taste was phenomenal. We weren’t sure about ordering the Ribeye but this was very tasty and could cut it with a butter knife!!! I would only order this steak rare!!! If you want it cooked more order a different steak! Seriously. Ask for a little drawn butter to drizzle over the steak WOW!!! The garlic butter that came with it was a little overpowering and hid the steak flavor. Oh and the view from outside in front at sunset was a huge bonus!!! Ya
