    Only our 2nd time going there (visiting from Florida). And it was just as awesome the second time as the first time we went over the summer. Great atmosphere and the meat person was spot on with his cooking instructions, etc. Really good value for the quality of food and the experience. Will definitely go again when we are in town.

    Well, the prime ny steak was a disappointment. I am very familiar with this kind and quality of cut, and theirs was too hard (even the medium rear center was like that). Real prime? Not so sure.

    30 years ago i visited with my dad. I made it a point to come back with my husband and my son. The steaks and trimmings were as good as i remember❤️

    Full disclosure, we didn't stay for the meal. The rating is based on the restaurant being misleading. You have to cook your own entree. If this was disclosed on the website, I wouldn't have made the reservation. We were on vacation and went "out to eat", not cook. I get it, it is "an experience" that some might enjoy. Just disclose it, so those that wouldn't enjoy having to cook, could make a reservation elsewhere.

    We had wonderful service and excellent advice on the meat to select and exactly how to cook it on the grill. We enjoy the process of picking our steaks and grilling them ourselves to perfection. They have excellent meat and the twice- baked potatoes and salad were great. Very good wine list too!

    A great value and unique experience. You cook your own protein with instructions from the butcher. Comes with all you can eat salad and Texas toast. You can also order from a variety of sides to add. A fraction of the cost of a traditional steak house.

    This was such a memorable experience! We loved being able to grill our own food and the bottomless salad and sides were delicious. It is SO MUCH FOOD so plan to arrive hungry. The restaurant is casual and laid back.

    We had an excellent first time experience grilling our own very tasty steaks, chicken and Texas toast, and sautéing onions and mushrooms on a large grill that could accommodate a dozen or so people at once. At a busy restaurant, nobody had to wait for grill space. The butcher counter attendant was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting our cuts of meat and advising us as to the length of time to get the desired temperature. Would definitely come again, especially to bring family and friend first timers.

    Our waitress. Jenna, made our first night in Steamboat so much fun! She was attentive, kind, and helpful with our meal and provided activity suggestions for our stay. We enjoyed picking out steaks and salmon and grilling them right there in the restaurant. Ask for Jenna when you go!

    Some steaks were good, others were meh. The shrimp we had were not served on paper when given to us and everything kind of tasted fishy after it was cooked. Personally, for the prices, I was expecting a little higher quality food. Even the salad was a little old or was out a while. Overall 4 out of 10.

    Waiter wasn't up front with costs. We had coupon for drinks. Got drinks. Said We wanted s6 happy hour burgers. He said let's get salads then we'll talk. Then said salad didn't come with happy hour burger. Got Bill he said drink coupons didn't count for having happy hour burger. Charged full price on drinks. We said it's still happy hour no matter what you order so he redis Bill to happy hour drinks. What a scampi he is!

    My wife & I both had filets. We cooked them medium rare & they came out perfect. Added some mushrooms & onions, a twice baked potatoe, & a skewer of shrimp. Everything was perfect. No room for desert.

    My husband and I had dinner at 8th Street Steakhouse with my in laws recently...not only is the food fantastic (also our server was delightful and the wine was wonderful) but it is an EXPERIENCE....such a fun twist on a steak dinner! We all selected our meat and then the guys grilled while my mother in law and I talked...and laughed at them!!! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

    We loved this unique dining experience so much that we went two nights in a row. We had Paige as our server night 1 and we reserved bar seats where she was working on night 2. Service and food are amazing. Along with Paige being so awesome, we were impressed with their host Tanner! Would highly recommend this cook your own meat experience!

    Our bill for two people came to about $120. With no cocktails and no drinks just water. No people that work there blocked enthusiasm or much help. The salad was the best part. We cook the steaks according to their directions and still have to go back two times to get them right took way longer than what they recommended for a medium steak. The waitress had no personality, overall experience is very poor for spending that much money for two people! I would not go back, and the cleanliness level could be well improved!

    The process of getting our steak and grilling it ourselves was perfect. We weren't all backed up at the grill waiting and there was plenty of room for everyone, plus the food was delicious. Fun ambiance and great energy from the staff!

    Great experience! You pick your own cut of beef and grill yourself. Ian was fantastic helping us pick our cut of meat! We ended getting the Colorado Bison Ribeye. Ian was also spot on with the recommended cooking times. The steak was one of the juiciest and most flavorful steak I have ever had. Server was great too and explained the whole process and brought us our salad, drinks and sides in a timely manner. We were even surprised with a dessert for our anniversary which looked liked a baked potato but was ice cream. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Steamboat!
