Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

Wonderful experience dining on the patio. Our server, Thomas, was extremely attentive, with a little help from other staff members. We had some excellent cocktails from the extensive list, then shared appetizers—cheese & spinach dip and grilled artichoke. Both were very good, though one diner in our group thought the artichoke a little undercooked. Both couples shared the sea bass which was excellent, accompanied by sautéed spinach. We also enjoyed a side of mushrooms for the table. Two yummy desserts, the apple crumble à la mode and the crème brûlée were also great. We sat until the wind and clouds threatened, such a pleasant evening!

Started our night, wife’s birthday, at the bar for happy hour. Drinks were perfect. Moved to table service for our dinner, nice area. Started with the un wedge salad, loved the dressing! The candied bacon was just right. I enjoyed the beef short ribs and my wife had the salmon. Both were delicious. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Thanks for making her birthday special. We will return.

Wonderful experience! The food was amazing. My filet was cooked perfectly! Honesty, i can gush about this place for hours! From the decor to the service and the quality of food .. i can’t wait to go back :)

We sat outside on a super hot day and the patio was great with shade and amazing service. Cocktails are always good

We really like 740 Front, but they changed their Happy Hour/patio situation without clearly communicating. We’ve been coming for years with friends and yesterday were seated on the patio, but not the “right side that included Happy Hour” no one was over there. Another table next to us commented they were “duped” thinking they could order from the HH menu on the patio. They need to clarify on their website, and when taking reservations what “patio” means, or just get rid of the Happy Hour.
