The kitchen is always on point. The wine list has a personal touch from the owner. Some very limited, special offerings. We stop here anytime we are in the area!

The service was outstanding and we loved our food! We ate outside and it felt very safe during the pandemic.

The patio was fantastic and dog friendly. The staff was terrific and the food outstanding.

We always enjoy coming to 606. The food is not only great, but it is creative as well. I love that they change up their menu and force you to NOT order the same things that you ordered the last time. Even the burger, which is something that they do keep on the menu, is amazing and the fries are always eaten up by everyone at the table. My best friend and I always get a flight of wines so we can try different ones so we don't have to decide. On this trip, the desserts looked so amazing that we ordered all four for the table. The chocolate mousse was outstanding! I would say that on this particular trip, the cold corn soup, the fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, the fries of course and the mousse were the highlights. The service is always fun and anticipates what we need. Great restaurant!

My husband and I are new to Grand Junction and were looking for a date night dinner. 626 on Rood was recommended to us. Making reservations online was easy. We were nicely greeted and sat on the outside patio. Angie was our server and she was amazing. Even though the place was busy she made sure we had everything we needed. The best part of the experience was the food. It was delicious. We had calamari and fried oysters for appetizers and a shrimp dish and incredible tenderloin for main course. The bottle of wine Angie recommended make the meal perfection. We’re definitely looking forward to another date night at 626 on Rood.

The chef Tio came to my table and told me the halibut was fresh. That was his choice for the night. It was marvelous. I live in California and I'm used to fresh seafood. This was fresh and it was cooked perfectly. Wine was chosen by beautiful Brenda and it matched perfectly with the food. I will be back-- for sure!

Our experience at 626 was rememberable. The waitress was fabulous and the food even better! We sat outside and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. Will visit again.

My husband and I received a gift card for a wedding present! We had a wonderful experience. The young man that served us was most incredible. The food was exceptional, as were the blueberry, hibiscus martinis. 626 on Rood will be our new celebration destination for sure. Thank you all for a lovely evening!!

Excellent. The service is always outstanding. The menu is carefully thought out and creative, using fresh ingredients that are local whenever possible. The new fried chicken is a wonderful spin on a classic. Kudos to Theo and Brenda.

This, I think, is the best restaurant in Grand Junction, especially for a special occasion. The food is always consistently good and I have never been disappointed in any meal I have had. They have a good wine list and drinks from the bar are well made. The wait staff is very professional and helpful. 626 is a bit pricey so we don't eat there every time we dine out in Grand Junction, but we have probably been there around 15 times over the past 5 years.

Exceptional menu and creativity! A wonderful culinary experience!

My husband and I came here for a romantic dinner while visiting Grand Junction. We were excited to try this place based on the outstanding reviews, but we were both disappointed. I had a the cauliflower, which was not a substantial meal for $22 and was pretty bland. The calamari was the best part of the meal. My husband got the chicken but it was also not anything very interesting or special. For a $100 dinner, I wouldn't return.

The temperature on the meat is always rare. I've ordered things Medium, medium well and every time it's rare, very rare.

Our son, chose 626 Rood to celebrate his 22nd birthday. We are so delighted that he did! We made our reservations through OpenTable for five. At the last minute we needed needed to add an additional person and I spoke with Josh. Josh was very understanding and accommodating. The menu had a lovely message wishing our son a wonderful birthday! Patrick was our amazing server and he was super attentive and professional. The food was incredible! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and drinks! The evening and celebration could not have been better! 😊

This was our first time eating at 626 on Rood. We had been given a gift card to celebrate our 18th anniversary.
We were not disappointed..as former chefs we often are disappointed when we eat out and so do not do it often.
The tenderloin was like butter and as well as the skirt steak in my salad. Skirt steak is so hard to do to get it tender like that! Amazing! The greens were delicious as well as the candied beets. The lemon drop martinis were out of this world.
We can not say enough about our experience except that it was the best anniversary celebration we have had in a very long time.
Our server was amazing as well and I feel horrible that I cannot remember her name but she was fantastic. Her knowledge of all of the food and it’s origins were a plus to our experience.

Simply the best restaurant in NW Colorado. Not to be missed. Beautifully creative cooking, and for those who imbibe, an outstanding mixologist.

Food is spectator and so is the wait staff! I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m still thinking about my dinner 3 days later.

Best food in Grand Junction, and best mac and cheese ever!

Service is always top notch! The cheese plate of the moment never disappoints. Drinks were delicious. We both enjoyed the beer cheese soup. I thoroughly devoured the Patagonian Toothfish and my husband loved the Niman Ranch Prime Strip with strawberry Creme fraiche. Dessert is always a yummy treat and the seductive reds wine flight always delivers. A wonderful evening as usual from Theo and crew!!

Delicious food, attentive service. Not a place to go if you’re in a hurry. Do try one of their flights of similar wines.

Enjoyed the cheese plate appetizer with the 3 choices of wine, called a FLIGHT. The waiter was knowledgeable and accommodating with food choices. Offering chicken instead of steak, and the chicken was so tender and delicious! Quite pricey -but would recommend for a nice date night.

It's our first visit to this restaurant. Everything was excellent. We ordered calamari and foie gras as the appetizers and braised Waguy beef for the main. For dessert we ordered chocolate Marquise cake. The presentation of our dishes was nicely done, starting with the plates and silverware.

Went to 626 on Rood for a date night with my wife. We had a great time. The service was super, the food was amazing and everybody around us was happy. We will definitely be back.

Excellent spot fora date night. We were in town for parents weekend with our college-age son. Outstanding wine list, much better than I expected (we ordered a ROAR pinot noir), great cocktails to start. Our son had the wagyu burger and rated it as perfection. I had the Niman Ranch strip, and my wife ordered the seared tuna. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable, definitely a spot we'll revisit when traveling to Grand Junction.
