Current Dinner hours are Monday through Saturday from 4:00 PM- 10:00 PM.
Sunday Dinner service: 4:00PM-9:00PM.
Sunday Brunch: 11:00AM- 3:00PM.
Friday & Saturday Lunch: 11:00AM-3:00PM.

We sat in the back room and it was our favorite as it’s a little quieter than the main dining hall.

Decor typical for a neighborhood Paris restaurant with rough decor and medium lighting. Noise on loud side, particularly the open bar. Cover patio on low traffic walkway. Good menu with reasonable prices and good service

Draft beer was not available. Mussels were good, not great. A little fishy tasting. French onion soup was ok…bread and cheese topping good, soup average with few pieces of onions. French Dip was good, but Dip was overly salty. Truffle fries good, but served in a paper lined metal cup which made them soggy after a bit.

We had a very nice time celebrating our best girlfriends birthday. Our server, Marisa, was right on time taking our drink order. Get the French 75, it was delicious!! I had the Caesar Salad with the anchovies dressing. Super yummy, fresh and crunchy. A couple of girls had the beef carpaccio and it is always a huge hit. We had 3 entrees…short ribs, scallops and the chicken francaise on Marissa’s recommendation. Typically, I don’t change from what I know I love but this dish is dynamite!!! It’s my new best dish at Rue De Jean! Everyone loved their plates. Of course I would be amiss if I didn’t mention the warm bread and butter! Dessert was on the house bc of our birthday girl🌸. Marissa was excellent!

We enjoyed our lunch at 39 Rue. Great onion soup. Ceiling tiles are looking rusty and damaged. Other than that, service and food was very good

39 is always a great spot - especially if you're heading for an event at Charleston Music Hall. The menu has something for everyone and chef usually has a special dish. The staff and management are always very accommodating and go out of their way please their guests. Locals love 39!

The escargot was delicious, although they did not bring enough bread to soop up the juices. The French Onion soup was so salty as to be uneatable. The gravy on the Short Ribs was also very salty and inedible. The meat was fine, however. Charcuterie Tray was excellent as were the Mussels.
