We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

Like much of the fine dining options we’ve found in the West Palm Beach area, it has left us a bit disappointed. We expected this area of Florida to have a lot of great seafood, but I guess we’ve been spoiled by our favorite, Charleston SC.

Way better than expected. Creative menu options. Above the typical hotel based restaurant.

The acoustics are so bad in this restaurant it’s almost impossible to rate any other qualities. Restaurant was only half full and it was difficult to cary on a conversation.

My husband and I went there for our Anniversary and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant. In fact, I’m taking my husband back next month for his birthday. Awesome meal and the view of the beach is outstanding.

I don’t understand the bad reviews I almost canceled after I read those reviews how ridiculous I think people are getting crazier because this place gave us ultimate service,we sat with a great Oceanview they were attentive ,the food was delicious my husband had the fish I had a pasta dish we had dessert and coffee ,the cappuccinos were amazing the appetizers were great I just don’t understand the bad reviews I think people are so spoiled if you’re that spoiled really please just stay home and have your personal chef attend to your every need and desire my God I guess after you have dined at the top 10 every day of your life of course you could say something bad about anything or anybody for that matter! you can be “too” spoiled because I see it every day ! You know those nasty people you hear in the background at the restaurant complaining about everything and they just ruined it for the people around them just stay home “old farts” ! Don’t listen to the reviews-I know good food because I love the capital Grille,Ruth Chris spots, cafe chardone, melting pot I have dined on Palm Beach Island the breakers taboo listen this place is freaking great- and you know what we will be going back this is a great view how can people be so “spoiled “-...or maybe it’s competition ? Either way it’s wrong and nasty start being more honest with your reviews ! (Can’t spell but my taste buds r working fine!

I actually may stop and speak with the restaurant manager. I must say we enjoyed the dinner very much, setting was beautiful and the service could not have been better!

However after reviewing my bill the following day I became a bit upset . I noticed that for our drinks there were up charges on the Manhattan , the Cosmo and my personal drink a “dirty martini”. I requested Belvedere Vodka and on top of the price there was a $6.00 up charge . Bringing the cost of the martini to $18.00!

Last evening we went to the Bricktops and I ordered the same drink. The price was $14.00 . I can understand Belvedere being more than “well vodka” but $18.00 is over the top. In addition you had an upcharge of $2.00 for Canadian Club which that is out of line as well.

In closing and my final comment, at no time did the server mention that gratuity was automatically included. My guest commented that should not happen for a table of four.

I just think the pricing at the restaurant is way out of line and I felt you needed to hear my comments. We have a hone on Singer Island and dine in Palm Beach regularly and I find the prices there even or in some cases less.

FYI

The restaurant atmosphere is austere and rather cold. Not charming at all. Tablecloths may help a bit. The menu is not exstensive enough, especially for children.
The wait staff was friendly and efficient, but tge foid was average for the prices.

Disappointing evening at what should have been a nice dining experience at an upscale restaurant. We started with cocktails, and before we could even order a group was seated at the table next to us with 3 young children including one in a stroller. We thought we were having dinner at a restaurant for adults on a Saturday night. We decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. They have a beautiful bar area, and nice live jazz - but the place was overrun by kids yelling, crying - literally running through the bar. Who wants to sit and sip cocktails and listen to live music with little kids literally sitting in the bar area with crayons and sippy cups. ? This was Saturday night at about 8p and not the atmosphere we expected or enjoy.

Very nice setting, our server was really great, my brother and I stayed at the Beach Club, it was overall a great facility. We also had brunch there 3 mornings and is was excellent. Shout out to Fran, our other servers and your excellent omelet/waffle chef. We will definitely be back next year for Spring Training again. Thank you

The food was overpriced and not very tasty. It was also over salted. The service was poor. Not rude, just not to the standard for the price charged. The restaurant is part of the Marriott time-share at Palm Beach Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa. The resort and setting are beautiful. We're staying here, but will not eat here again. There are enough decent local spots to fit the bill.

The internet menu does not match the restaurant menu so disappointed there was not a veal chop. The chicken was good though and the cioppino was excellent. Desert was also exceptional. We called and there was a dress code of no shorts, but that did not apply to kids wearing shorts, short tops and flip flops.

We were hoping to dine outside, but we stayed inside because it was windy outside. We were at the windows facing the ocean, but it was too dark to see out. The food was good and the service was perfect. The food and wine were rather pricey, but the food was prepared well. Free valet parking was nice also.

We came from DC and someone recommended this as a dining place. We made same day reservations and it was fabulous. We started at the bar where they were super attentive and friendly. Then moved to an outdoor table next to the water. It was beautiful. The staff there is exceptional. They were attentive but not on top of us. The food was delicious and they even brought out a surprise birthday dessert for me. The whole experience was perfect.

Service poor and not in line with a JW Marriott property. Server poured 1/2 bottle of wine into 2 glasses that were already half full, overfilling both glasses. Sat in near dark on the patio. Not a good dining experience.

Loved the brunch and outside beach views. Getting seated was not as quick as I would have liked because they are fairly busy. We ordered from the kitchen, the wait staff service was good but it took a long while to get the food. There are regular brunch serve yourself options if you don’t want to wait. When we got the food it was great.
