We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

At 3800 Ocean, the dining experience provides a feast for the eyes and as well as the palate. But if the seaside view is simply an appetizer, it’s one that will wet the appetite for a truly delightful experience. Choose to dine indoors within a calming space of contemporary elegance, or outdoors on an expansive, covered patio where calming breezes and the soft sounds of the gentle surf provide an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.
Will never go back.
The restaurant turned us away after we had an Opentable reservation & even a follow up confirmation. We even arrived 20-30 mins early.
Have been going here as well as the Singer Island hotel for a few years. They said they were closing the restaurant early to set up for a private party, but never had the professionalism to call us beforehand. The Open table reservation was made several days earlier. Had just picked up a friend at the airport and was looking forward sitting by the window overlooking the ocean.
Even the Manager was rude.
Open Table should drop them!!
Osso Bucco was wonderful
Overpriced for the quality of food.
We really enjoyed everything, the waitress was very nice and the food was very delicious. Even the people at the restaurant were friendly.
The online menu does not match what they offer in hotel. Only about half the items are now offered. We were the only people in the dining room and service was horrible. Our waitress seemed annoyed to be waiting on us. Food was fair. Not worth what you pay for, especially to be treated so rudely
The food was good, although pricey. We requested very cold martinis and they arrived lukewarm. The server was very nice, but the restaurant appeared understaffed. He had a very large party (who were a bit loud) and so the service was slow. We will try it again perhaps for lunch next time.
"3800" is a great dining experience for any occasion! Excellent staff! They will not overshadow you but will notice you when you need them! Very friendly and they will try to accommodate your requests as best as possible! My server was Debra and has a wonderful personality! I chose Heirloom tomatoes and burrata for my appetizer and it was good! Filet mignon cooked to perfection and tender! Chocolate creme brulee... Yum! 😋 Thanks for a delicious dinner! See you again soon! Happy Thanksgiving!
The best food, and the service was awesome. I made reservation, the restaurant was so quiet. The food is amazing
We travelled up from Boca Raton and had lunch here yesterday with a friend who was celebrating a big birthday and based our repeat visit here after having enjoyed delicious food and excellent service during a lunch under the Flavors of Palm Beach promotion. . Big mistake. To our surprise (and without updating their website) the management had recently changed the normal formal lunch menu to one that is really poolside grazing - think hand-held tacos and burgers. OK if you are in pool garb and sitting outside but it's no longer a destination restaurant and this is a great shame. Furthermore, even though the restaurant only had two occupied tables our orders arrived with sides missing and then cold when they arrived. Our birthday friend's meal was totally messed up and she had to watch us eat our entrees and then we watched her eat alone when her entree eventually arrived and was to her satisfaction. The server tried her best but management and the chef didn't seem too concerned. However, we did receive a reduction on the bill but the day was a birthday to remember for all the wrong reasons so we will not return.
Delicious meal. Friendly service fresh fish choices
This is Singer Island Marriott's all day restaurant that does dress up more gourmet for dinner. We enjoyed our dinner and all aspects from food to service and atmosphere. The bar is worth a stop in advance of dinner for well made cocktails including good Bourbon choices.
We have eaten at 3800 Ocean many times before. We have not been there in almost a year, because the food was good not great. We decided to try it again recently and found an amazing new chef and pastry chef at the restaurant. We were thrilled with every course. The service was impeccable. I chose the salmon, and asked for to be well done. It was absolutely perfectly well done. My husband had a pasta dish and said it was delicious. The drinks were marvelous as well, kudos to the bartender. The new pastry chef is a marvel. We had the most delicious chocolate crème brûlée with little additions that we have ever had or imagined. There was not a single note that was not perfect at this restaurant.
Food and experience was great as always but they changed the pool access from public if you eat at the restaurant to hotel guests only, which I felt isn't the best call and certainly defeats half the purpose of why I come here every month or so.
This place is amazing. One of the best views in Palm Beach. Right on the ocean. And the food is amazing. Creative seafood mainly. I'd recommend the seafood boil. Perfect spot for a date night and we'll be back again.
The service was a little spotty. They were probably a little understaffed, though frankly it wasn't that busy. Our waitress was very pleasant, but not too available. My wife ordered an orchiette pasta dish that was very heavy and salty. It was rather dark in the outside seating area. People around us were using cell phone flashlights to see the menu and their food. The hotel looked very nice, but honestly I wouldn't use the restaurant again.
This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! Also, the seating and the ocean view are great. Service was top of the line.
Okay, I'm not one to complain, but we were the first party in the restaurant, I requested an ocean view and was awarded the best seat in the house.
HOWEVER, the next party that was seated had a toddler with them - the hostess sat them next to us (the only party in the restaurant at that time). Meanwhile there were more than 10 other ocean view tables that would not be next to my wife and I on our vacation date night.
Quality front of house staff is hard to find, I understand as a past restaraunteer, but this was inexcusable. The toddler stood on her chair and was either singing or screaming loudly for the entire duration of our meal and dessert.
Poor planning on hostesses part and spoke to the manager and I could just tell he couldn't have cared less on the professional criticism.
Oh, well - won't' be going back there next time we are staying with Marriott.
Food was innovative, tasty and beautifully presented and the seaside setting is superb.
Our server was very friendly and helpful. I came here on the Flavors of Palm Beach offer but was very impressed so I'll be returning soon.
We went there for a romatic birthday celebration on a Tuesday. The food was "good", the ambience GREAT, but the service lackluster. I also found it to be WAY overpriced for what it was. Drinks are a FORTUNE and the food is way more expensive than I felt warranted.
Went to restaurant sat down at a table outside. My wife sat down on a chair cushion which was all wet from who knows what. Her pants were so wet we had to leave. Never ate dinner. Had to go back to our hotel so my wife could change and go to another restaurant. Waiter was apologetic but did not send manager over or offer us any compensation for our trouble.
Nice atmosphere - food is just ok - service was very poor - long wait for food - cold coffee - flat soda
Our server was really poor. She was rude, never introduced herself and (when she was actually around our table) had no problem interrupting our conversation by literally sneaking up to us and interjected whatever she felt like she needed to tell us. It was the first time in a long time, I contemplated not leaving a tip.
Bottom line: Unless you love waiting unreasonably long time for your food and hearing a disheveled waitress making idiotic excuses in broken English, stay away from this one.
We showed up to a pleasant looking restaurant with great beach view. Sat at our table and immediately noticed that despite passing a fairly impressive wine cellar we weren't given a wine list. When the waitress finally showed up looking disheveled and confused, she looked like she was serving burgers on the beach with a cheap notepad. She was surprised that we didn't get a wine list but then came back to the table once more without it. Third time a charm, we got the wine list and did not take any chances but rather ordered the entire meal, apps and main dishes at once. Then we waited... finally the appetizer showed up.... it was great.... then we waited.... nobody came to clear the dishes from the appetizer..... we waited some more and the main courses showed up..... I helped by moving the appetizer dishes around, just like you do in any upscale restaurant. Right?.... the main dishes were excellent, I won't lie..... actually they almost made up for the sloppy service..... encouraged we naively decided to have dessert.... what a mistake..... we waited, we waited, in the meantime we asked for the check (figuring the desserf will come with the check), we waited some more and then our disheveled waitress showed up again with the check.... no dessert yet. We decided to leave without it.... needless to say. we won't be back.
We hosted an office lunch here on Tuesday, Sept the 18th. The food was great and so was the view. If I have one complaint, it would be that service was a little slow. Reservations at 12 and we didn't get out until 2. A little long for a work lunch, but when you have the boss with you, it's all ok :)
Went for Flavor of Palm Beach. Beautiful restaurant & view, and great service by Al our waiter & his assistant. The food was AMAZING! We all LOVED the lobster chowder. Party of 4 ... 2 of us got the steak tip salad wedge, 2 for the fried chicken. Both delicious! 2 got the key lime dessert, 2 the chocolate creme brûlée. Both these desserts were exceptional.
We went for the fixed price special. We were disappointed with the entree selections and the descriptions. The main portions were very small and the desserts were not satisfying. The cost with tax and tip and drinks was very pricey for what we got. The service was, however, wonderful and the view of the ocean was beautiful.
Food is exceptional. Service is notable. The location and view are amazing. Prices are high for everything from drinks to dessert, but all are very very good. Definitely a great location for a special occasion and would highly recommend.
NOBODY beats 3800 Ocean with their spectacular view of the Atlantic. Flavor of Palm Beach $25 lunch menu big on flavor, creativity and such a deal. Chocolate creme dessert didn't seem to be as advertised but large, ornate and ate it all, while my friend got half of a small key lime tart?!
The fixed price menu was outstanding in quality and quantity. Very attentive staff.
I didn’t realize the restaurant was in a hotel itself but there was valet, of which the host validated at the end of our meal. The ambiance was great. The staff was very attentive and super nice. There was not a lot to choose from on the menu but the quality and flavor was most certainly there, it was superb!!! I was very pleased with my experience and I would come back again.
The new chef is killing it at 3800 ocean. One of the best meals we’ve had locally. The kale and Brussels salad w/ his spin on green goddess dressing was nothing short of divine. The grilled octopus was spicy and daring but very good as well. My wife absolutely loved the burrata and her chicken both of which were uniquely prepared and worthy of praise. Wine list is pretty good too. We found a great bottle of chard and a few reds we enjoyed. This is a must try spot for anyone local or, staying in the hotel. Right now they’re even offering a price fixed 3 course w/ flavor palm beach that all of the above items were on! Yum
Only downside was the number of diners. FYI parking is free at the hotel for dinner...
The bread could be home baked and warm.

Food was great. Our service was slow. Great location and views.
Lovely food - very creative and beautifully presented. Chef really outdid himself!
From appetizers to dessert... best meal ever!!!!!
I participated in the flavor Palm Beach menu and it was well planned out with great choices. Beautiful restaurant with great ocean views. The wait staff, host, and chef were very attentive and professional.
Food and cocktails excellent. Not an A Star overall experience. Go for the food and you’ll be happy!
Great food and service. It was my son birthday and he enjoyed the restaurant.
Wonderful date night. Food was amazing, staff was very friendly and attentive.
Like much of the fine dining options we’ve found in the West Palm Beach area, it has left us a bit disappointed. We expected this area of Florida to have a lot of great seafood, but I guess we’ve been spoiled by our favorite, Charleston SC.
