We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

At 3800 Ocean, the dining experience provides a feast for the eyes and as well as the palate. But if the seaside view is simply an appetizer, it’s one that will wet the appetite for a truly delightful experience. Choose to dine indoors within a calming space of contemporary elegance, or outdoors on an expansive, covered patio where calming breezes and the soft sounds of the gentle surf provide an inviting and relaxed atmosphere.
Outstanding food every time. The Chef’s signature bread puddings are to die for. It’s a hidden gem that a lot of people don’t know about.
Beautiful view, lovely lunch!!
Would recomend restaurant! !
Deserts were Wonderful!
Would go again next time for dinner.
Valet parking, mandatory, was a disaster.
Service ok, food quality very good although menu was somewhat limited
Put us in a quiet corner for privacy to celebrate our impending baby. All the servers were nice and helpful. The food was amazing. Brought us out a dessert with candles both blue and pink. Will absolutely come again
Amazing Food!! Took our family here and they enjoyed every bite! Steaks were cooked perfectly and seafood was fresh and good. Wouldn’t recommend the Ceviche though but otherwise all was great.
I actually may stop and speak with the restaurant manager. I must say we enjoyed the dinner very much, setting was beautiful and the service could not have been better!
However after reviewing my bill the following day I became a bit upset . I noticed that for our drinks there were up charges on the Manhattan , the Cosmo and my personal drink a “dirty martini”. I requested Belvedere Vodka and on top of the price there was a $6.00 up charge . Bringing the cost of the martini to $18.00!
Last evening we went to the Bricktops and I ordered the same drink. The price was $14.00 . I can understand Belvedere being more than “well vodka” but $18.00 is over the top. In addition you had an upcharge of $2.00 for Canadian Club which that is out of line as well.
In closing and my final comment, at no time did the server mention that gratuity was automatically included. My guest commented that should not happen for a table of four.
I just think the pricing at the restaurant is way out of line and I felt you needed to hear my comments. We have a hone on Singer Island and dine in Palm Beach regularly and I find the prices there even or in some cases less.
Everything was amazing! I love visiting The Marriott. From my room to the food I'm never disappointed.
The restaurant atmosphere is austere and rather cold. Not charming at all. Tablecloths may help a bit. The menu is not exstensive enough, especially for children.
The wait staff was friendly and efficient, but tge foid was average for the prices.
Overpriced, cold food, missed a few requests.
Great until I received email saying I didn’t show. This was upsetting after notification of open table reservation and spending $175.52
Great food! We had the scallops over risotto special. Excellent! Sat outside. Only complaint are the lights which are a bizarre color
Disappointing evening at what should have been a nice dining experience at an upscale restaurant. We started with cocktails, and before we could even order a group was seated at the table next to us with 3 young children including one in a stroller. We thought we were having dinner at a restaurant for adults on a Saturday night. We decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. They have a beautiful bar area, and nice live jazz - but the place was overrun by kids yelling, crying - literally running through the bar. Who wants to sit and sip cocktails and listen to live music with little kids literally sitting in the bar area with crayons and sippy cups. ? This was Saturday night at about 8p and not the atmosphere we expected or enjoy.
Very nice setting, our server was really great, my brother and I stayed at the Beach Club, it was overall a great facility. We also had brunch there 3 mornings and is was excellent. Shout out to Fran, our other servers and your excellent omelet/waffle chef. We will definitely be back next year for Spring Training again. Thank you
Great food, nice views and good service. Spoiled due to the fact of being seated next to an inconsiderate family with young children that were allowed to run around their table and yell loudly.
We had a great dinner and enjoyed sitting by the window and seeing the ocean, great atmosphere. We didn’t realize the restaurant was in the Marriott Hotel and the valet parking charge was comp if eating there. Wonderful wine list too.
The food was overpriced and not very tasty. It was also over salted. The service was poor. Not rude, just not to the standard for the price charged. The restaurant is part of the Marriott time-share at Palm Beach Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa. The resort and setting are beautiful. We're staying here, but will not eat here again. There are enough decent local spots to fit the bill.
The food was just okay.
The internet menu does not match the restaurant menu so disappointed there was not a veal chop. The chicken was good though and the cioppino was excellent. Desert was also exceptional. We called and there was a dress code of no shorts, but that did not apply to kids wearing shorts, short tops and flip flops.
Limited dinner menu. Small portions. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly.
very nice table inside, great food and service.
We were hoping to dine outside, but we stayed inside because it was windy outside. We were at the windows facing the ocean, but it was too dark to see out. The food was good and the service was perfect. The food and wine were rather pricey, but the food was prepared well. Free valet parking was nice also.
We had a confirmed reservation and when we arrived were told there was a special event and there was no seating in the dining room. They claimed we could eat in the lobby area but no one would assist us.
Good food and great view. A little costly
We came from DC and someone recommended this as a dining place. We made same day reservations and it was fabulous. We started at the bar where they were super attentive and friendly. Then moved to an outdoor table next to the water. It was beautiful. The staff there is exceptional. They were attentive but not on top of us. The food was delicious and they even brought out a surprise birthday dessert for me. The whole experience was perfect.
Wonderful dining experience as usual with a friendly waitstaff and delicious 😋 entrees no matter when you decide to eat there! We went for brunch and enjoyed the beautiful ocean views while we ate! We will be back!
Service poor and not in line with a JW Marriott property. Server poured 1/2 bottle of wine into 2 glasses that were already half full, overfilling both glasses. Sat in near dark on the patio. Not a good dining experience.
Very good food spoilt by very slow and amateurish service - could not even open a wine bottle without ruining the cork! No apologies!
Loved the brunch and outside beach views. Getting seated was not as quick as I would have liked because they are fairly busy. We ordered from the kitchen, the wait staff service was good but it took a long while to get the food. There are regular brunch serve yourself options if you don’t want to wait. When we got the food it was great.
The food and service here were excellent. We had a table by the window with a great view of the ocean. The temperature was really on the cool side - so bring a sweater.
Wife and I had a great experience at 3800. Chrissy was our server and she was excellent. She was very polite, friendly and professional, greeted us by name. My wife had the fried flounder and I had the Wagyu beef cheeks. Flounder was very crispy and tasty and the beef was very tender. Cocktails were tasty and well balanced. For dessert we decided on Chrissy’s recommendation of the s’mores pot au creme. Very good and a lot of fun to eat. We will be back next time we are in the area.
Dark corner table. Neglected by server. Excellent food.
Overpriced. Cold ambience. Good service. Decent fiid
One of the best dining experience we have had! I am gluten free and chef came to our table and discussed the menu, and then decided to make a dish for me, which was simply amazing! We watched the “ blue moon” light up the ocean outside our window seat as we enjoyed our dinner! Excellent service too! Plus, they validated the valet parking, very nice touch.
NICE VIEW. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR LUNCH ON WEEKENDS. THEY SPENT THE ENTIRE TIME CLEANING UP BREAKFAST CRASHING PLATES, SILVERWARE, PLATTERS. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO RELAX AND ENJOY MY COMPANY DESPITE REQUESTS.
My experience at 3800 Ocean was top-notch. It is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. In this case, I had one of the best prepared and thickest pieces of fish I have had in quite a while, a wonderful ocean view, and an extensive wine list (although they did not have any Spanish wines - I am partial to Albarino and Rioja). 3800 Ocean was also quiet, a quality I value in a restaurant. The service was not quite up to the level of the food and view. There was nothing wrong with the service per se - just not quite the attention I expect at the highest level of dining. I would certainly dine again at 3800 Ocean. Is it expensive compared with other area restaurants? Sure. But life is too short not to occasionally have the best if you can afford it.
Food was excellent. My wife had the tempura fish - the fish was moist and flaky with no grease and a great presentation. My beef cheeks were fork tender and had wonderful flavor. The bread pudding we split for desert was likewise amazing.
The only negative was that the main courses came out while we were finishing our appetizer. A minor inconvenience (I ended up using the pretzel bread to sop up my extra gravy.)
All-in-all a great dinner.
Wonder view, food and waiter!! Love coming here
While there was nothing bad about our experience, neither was there anything particularly memorable. At this price point something should stand out.
The staff was fantastic - from the hostess to our waitperson to the Pastry Chef - all were over and above and made the meal.
We did not know that Christmas Dinner was Buffet only (Looked at menu online), nor that the restaurant closed at 8. We arrived for our reservation at 8 after flight delays etc and wish we had come a little earlier as tings were winding down. The restaurat was freezing (needed to where coats) which did not help the food.
The entrees / hot food were wondderful as were the pastries !!!!!! Where it fell down was though the appetizers were plentiful, they had been sitting there for hours and all of the lovely canapes were ice cold in small plastic disposable plates. There was no Attendant at any of the apps or hors d'oeuvres, Were they not ice cold, they would have been terrific. If threy were presnented differently and warm, would have been great. We would have been happy with dar less of them but the warm ones not icy cold.
The AC was up so high that our entrees cooled off in 3 minutes - such a shame.
