Thoroughly enjoyable evening; food was very good; great wine selection; service was attentive and wait staff was knowledgeable. Nice selection of dinner specials. Plan to go back the next time I'm in Chicago...
Great spot fir early pretheater dinner. Service and food both excellent.
Excellent service. Great focaccia and crostini. Pasta nice al dente, but too much butter in my dish but tasted great. Exquisite kiwi sorbet!!
Even though I have had disappointments at 312 in the past (mostly with the quality of the food), I chose the restaurant this time because it was convenient for the person I was meeting. Once again, the food was really bad. The bread was stale (and appeared to have been re-used from an earlier table). The tomato soup was runny and tasteless (completely inedible); to say it tasted like dish water with rubber bands (calamari rings) thrown in would be kind. I didn't send it back, just pushed it to the side uneaten, and to the waiter's credit he did remove that charge from the bill of his own volition. For my meal I had ordered fritto misto, which came out mushy and tasteless and included a big tub of some sort of aioli that I think was actually just plain mayonnaise. The service was very good, we had a nice view of the street from a second floor table, and my guest appeared to enjoy her risotto (unless she was just being polite), but I'm not sure I will give this restaurant another chance -- unless I can figure out whether any of the other menu items beyond those I have tried in the past are actually worth eating!
312 has become our go-to place for pre theater dining....Always great food and service.
Excellent service. Interesting menu choices. Food was delicious and well prepared. Efficient and friendly. Great for special occasion or everyday.
I went there with my fiancé for my birthday. Food was great. Our waiter was awesome. Sat by a window and was able to people watchz
The food was excellent. The noise was a bit loud. We appreciated the use of the elevator for my disabled client.
The food was delicious and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Would recommend before or after going to the Cadillac Palace Theatre.
First time there. Sunday afternoon lunch before seeing "Cinderella". We sat at a booth on the second level. Water glass was always filled which to me indicates a wait staff that is taking care of you. Food was excellent and the wait staff very friendly and helpful. Would come here again.
It was a great experience. We went to see a play and it was perfect because the theater was next door.
I dined here with my young daughter before seeing Cinderella. It was fabulous and my daughter practically inhaled the pasta and meatballs.
Good food with convenient location to theaters. Very pleasant atmosphere. Great for business meals.
Great food and service, it got pretty busy around lunchtime, but the service was still great even when they got busy.
We had a wonderful experience celebrating Mother's Day early with my daughter. Great service and nice food choices, especially pleased to have so many gluten free options!
This is a great restaurant to find delicious options either before the theater or after the theater. A couple of us had the halibut Served with a collie flower puréeand it was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient.
The service and food was outstanding! All of the waiters recommendations were fantastic! We had the roasted cauliflower, ceaser salad, chicken, flourless chocolate cake, and carrot cake. All did not disappoint.
Service started a little slow, but we were also waiting for someone. Waiter nice friendly but lag between courses. wine was corked but he very promptly replaced it.
Great food and atmosphere! Enjoyed the wonderful customer service and the tasty drinks. Looking forward to having lunch/dinner again at the The 312 Restaurant!!
Good stuff thanks
I enjoyed 312 Chicago, it was a nice atmosphere, I was part of a group that went for a business lunch and the food was great.
good nice service yummy food a bit expensive
restaurant was fantastic. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Bar drinks were great. Would recommend for a great brunch date.
The service was outstanding as well as the food and wine pairings. A great experience.
We visited Chicago for our anniversary and to attend Hamilton. We stayed at the kimpton allegro so we could walk to the theatre. Dinner at 6 was great and we had plenty of time to enjoy our food and then walk to the 8 pm show. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, food was delicious. Wonderful evening!
I went to 312 Chicago for breakfast. The service was exceptional, our waiter was very attentive and personable. Food was very tasty with generous portions. I would definitely recommend it for a quiet and fulfilling breakfast experience.
Nice spot for friends night out. Great food and service.
Made a last minute reservation for a dinner with volunteers who were in town. We shared a few items family style - The buffala was delicious!0
Wait staff is friendly, very good service. The halibut was very good, my compliments to the chef!
The food was absolutely amazing. One of the best meals I've had. The service was also outstanding. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Chicago.
We enjoyed our meals and the waiter staff was very helpful. The background noise was low so we could hear each other!
Service was awful. We waited an extended time for everything. Water, drinks, to order and then for our food. By the time we were done there was only one other table in the restaurant before the matinee. We barely made the show in time
Chefs table was amazing. Great Interaction with the staff
Prior to attending the Sound of Music next door, we had a terrific dinner at 312. Obviously it was a very convenient place, but that’s NOT why we chose it. The last time we went to a play at the Cadillac theater we did pick it because it was so close. It was very good that time so we booked it again.
This time was even better. We will be stopping in, even when we’re not attending a play in the future. Everything was fantastic! Thank you.
Great place to go, especially if going to Cadillac Palace Theater
A very good restaurant located next to the Cadillac Theater. Theater pre-fixe menu was a great value. App+ entree+ dessert $44. Add wine pairing for additional $22.
This last visit, My one friend found an eggshell in her gnocchi. That was a bit of a turnoff. Typically, we have an excellent experience
Great service and food. In by 6 out by 7. Loved the upper level window view.
