Forest 230 never disappoints! No mistaking the value of having a Chef/Owner. Every dish is prepared with perfect balance and care. The staff is so good they make truly outstanding dishes taste even better! Treat yourself and friends/family to a wonderful culinary experience!

My wife and I have been here several times and it never disappoints. This time we both had the fish specials. One was crusted Alaskan halibut and the other other was Seabass. Both were fabulous as was our bottle of wine. I love that they don’t overcharge for wine by comparison to many other restaurants. The ambience was great and Robbie our waiter was fabulous. A few times to make sure things were going well they were. You can’t go wrong. It’s been over 30 years.

When visiting Laguna Beach, Forest 230 is always one of the places we will be sure to visit. From appetizers to decadent and imaginative dessert offerings, the food selections are diverse and delicious!

Seafood soup was excellent. We were seated outside so the ambiance was just a street scene.

We have accidentally found this place a few weeks ago and had already eaten somewhere else. However, we decided to stop for cocktails and for dessert. We were not disappointed. We had every dessert on the menu and shared with the group, but our favorite was the pistachio crème brûlée. Last night, we decided to come for dinner and we’re not disappointed. The quality of food and the creative dishes will have you wanting to come back. This place is our new hang out in Laguna Beach. We can’t say enough about the staff, especially Robbie. Rob has been our waiter our last two visits and we will request him every time. Put this restaurant on your list and you will not be disappointed, but you should make reservations as it’s super popular. Highly recommended!!
