One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Creative, incredible flavor, and not precious.
221 never disappoints. We have been here many times and have enjoyed everything from appetizers to main course meals. The Wine list is exceptional and the Wine pairings are spot on!
Thank you for allowing us to enjoy all local flavors. We will be back and back!

Very disappointing meal. I think the menu is too big, and they would do themselves and everyone else a favor by downsizing the menu and concentrating on a few fantastic dishes. My halibut entree "died in the window" as it came out with the sauce dried out and the plate was too hot to touch. Not sure about my friend's osso bucca. Appetizers were average. Our cocktails were amazing, coconut sour and watermelon something....
Fabulous halibut & trout dishes! Cozy charming interior with great service!
Food was good but not outstanding. My husband had an elk that must have been old or frozen. The setting was enjoyable. Overall, we have had much better in Denver, Whistler, Beaver Creek for the same cost.
Everything was fabulous! The wait staff were very attentive and took special care of our guest who are gluten-free. Wonderful experience for all.
the food was both creative and unusual in the sides that went with the main course. Oh and quite delicious as well. The presentation was also beautiful. Classy all the way around.
We had high hopes since we had heard a lot about this restaurant. No disappointments here. Everything was perfect and the food was sensational. A great all around experience. Highly recommend!
The food was incredible! Rachel is an amazing server. We had a blast.
We absolutely enjoyed our dinner at 221.
The food was so delicious. We tried the bone marrow, sea scallops, and trout dishes. Everything was absolutely superb. The artwork adds to the warm and inviting ambiance.
Did not appreciate sitting at table looking into men’s room when spending lots of money. Felt very hurried. BUT, the food was fantastic so there you go.
The food & service: great. Our reservation was for 8:15 but we decided to go earlier and they were happy to change our reservation to 7:15. In the meantime we sat by the lounge.
I got an em from open table this morning indicating that we didn't show up?!
I told the hostess that I had made the reservation through you and to please adjust it accordingly.
But the place was cozy and lively and the food very good. My husband had a delish buffalo strip steak and I had the osso bucco-
Pls adjust our reservation details. Thank you, Marta Leonard
Hands down—Best restaurant in Telluride. Chef is very creative. Service was perfect.
Great experience always! Luke and Eliza have a great team! Good food, ambience and service!
Waiter Joe was one of the best we’ve had. Food delicious. Loved every minute of it.
Probably the best dinner in Telluride. The vegetarian options are wonderful.
Food selection is great. Vegetarian menu is extensive compared to most places. Great service and ambiance
Great food & service!
Had a great Brunch and all of the food was devoured by our family. The service was great and the bloody Verde was incredible for a breakfast drink.
Everything was over the top. Loved the food, ambiance and service. Beautiful presentation and very unique menu.
We were in Telluride for a getaway. The food was good but it took about 20 min for a 2nd round of drinks. The hostess was running around like a chicken with his head cut-off, cleaning tables, seating people, etc. He needs help. It took us 15 min to be seated because he was all alone. We were also hot hot hot in the dining room and we were sitting next to the open windows with mosquitos eating us alive. Maybe you all can get screens and some ventilation??
Our first time to 221; it was phenomenal. Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and would readily suggest different meals based on our questions and desires. Totally recommend this restaurant!!
We had a lovely dining experience. I ordered a burrata salad that was excellent and the vegetarian ravioli which was good (the salad was especially delicious). My partner ordered a special dish with crickets and the venison osso bucco. The venison was delightful but unfortunately, the cricket dish hurt our stomachs! I'm not sure if it was the way it was prepared or if crickets just mess with stomachs! Finally, the wine list was pricey--it would be nice if they offered some more affordable wines by the glass (average price was $20 per glass!).
My cocktail was great. Ryan took good care of us. But first my lamb arrived almost well done and then on second try, it was pink but so tough I could not eat. And I had been looking forward to Colorado"s famous lamb all week.
One of the best meals we’ve ever had in a mountain town.
Joel our server was attentive but not overly so. Great meal on their patio
Great dinner and service. We sat in the back patio and it was a bit warm night so the mosquitos were out and about. Just part of it so bring your citronella. Food was really great. My wife had the trout which was done really well and I had the Elk which was cooked perfectly. Great evening.
The food was incredibly flavorful (we had trout and salmon), and the backyard garden seating was beautiful. A great dining experience.
Sunday brunch is always a treat in the summer at 221 South Oak
Improve the bread and more wines by the glass. Love the vegan choices
Great food. Pleasant setting. Good service. I would definitely go again
Our server wasn't very attentive or interested. The food we ordered was good, but overpriced for what it was.
The food was really poor compared to past experiences. We ordered the octopus on the waiters high recommendation- it was rubbery, dry and fishy. The bone marrow appetizer was unimpressive and the tenderloin with marrow Hollandaise and was a clash of flavors and the sauce was dry. Other entree was mediocre.
I have loved past visits and was looking forward. Hoping for them this was a one off.
Food was excellent as was service. Prices reasonable. Unfortunately we were seated next to someone who was so loud that my husband and I could barely carry on a normal conversation.
One of our favorites when we're in Telluride. A must go to for dinner.
Everything Eliza makes is amazing !!!!!!!!!
Bison was way too seasoned , and so was trout
The most lack luster food for a noteworthy chef. Not to send back but nothing to enjoy. Apparently Eliza was not in the kitchen. No excuse. My halibut I think came from Costco.
