Ever wondered how much a dash, drizzle or pinch may be and how much is too much? Explore these questions and other culinary quandaries with Chef Eliza on Thursdays, from 11:00 to 2:30. Chef Eliza will demonstrate 12 dishes and Sommelier Paul will pour 10 wines, harmonizing or juxtaposing the cuisine. Recipes feature summer flavors and lesser known ingredients. Learn from Sophie the art of wine pairing and dive into the regions and varietals of wine. Take with you all of the recipes, a full tummy and a bevy of new friends. Feel free to request a date for a class that fits your schedule. Most of our classes are held on Fridays but we are open to private classes any day of the week.

We loved everything about this experience! We took our two 18-year old graduates for one of their first real dining experiences and they couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. I had the artichoke dish and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Husband got the Elk T-bone, which he devoured. The boys had different entrees, but I can't remember what it was. We've always wanted to dine here on our visits to Telluride and can't believe we waited so long. We'll be annual visitors!

Excellent food. Service was fine but not quite up to par with a 5 star restaurant. Should have brought us plates for the appetizer, etc. It was expensive but food was very good.

I think easily the best restaurant in Telluride. The service is outstanding and the food is even better. Have a wonderful bar and a very creative menu.

My wife and I were treated to our first wedding anniversary dinner here and had a fantastic experience! The restaurant is in a very convenient location to the gondola and downtown. We had an exceptional meal from appetizer/drinks to main course and carrying out a pint of ice cream for dessert. Fried green tomatoes, bay scallops with watermelon kimchi, chicken with summer veggies - it was exquisite. The staff were kind and attentive, we were even brought a complimentary glass of bubbly for our anniversary. This will be a dining experience that we think back on fondly as a part of our Telluride stay!

We took friends who were visiting based on a stellar recommendation. 221 South Oak most certainly did not disappoint! The husbands raved about the braised bison. I enjoyed the Fig and Walnut Impossible Albondigas & Carrot Jus and my friend had the chicken version of the same dish. Arturo, our waiter, was wonderful and made excellent recommendations to help us decide amongst the many tempting dishes on the menu. Thank you for a memorable experience!

The entire staff was so great. The food was unbelievable. I would recommend this to anyone going to Telluride.

We have eaten here quite a few times and keep coming back. We celebrated a birthday and there were 7 of us…food and service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
