Please Join us this Wednesday February 14th, Valentines Day for a night to remember. We will have a Prix Fixe menu at $65 for 4 courses as well as our regular dinner menu.

Please note Sunday through Wednesday February 4th - 28th the dining room will be closed, except Wednesday February 14th. However we are offering our regular dinner menu seating at our community tables.

Food was very good but the shrimp & grits a couple people ordered was mostly grits (5 shrimp) and there were just 5-6 gnocchi in that entree a person ordered... for an entree & price they weren’t sufficient. By comparison the pork and filet plates were huge and delicious. Very noisy though and atmosphere too casual (hotel lobby) for the type of food and price... our party of 7 tab was just under $400.

What a fantastic evening! Our waitress Bonnie knew the food and cocktail menu so well. She was so fun and provided such great service. Our food was delicious! The shrimp and grits and Brussels sprouts were out of this world!

Went in the middle of restaurant week, and everything included the service was excellent! We were surprised that the portions were huge, in fact we took some home! We had a total of six different items, and they were all delicious. My husband loved the Quinoa salad, and the shrimp and grits were cooked perfectly, with a fluffy texture that was a pleasant surprise. Also, I had a Pink Lady, which was reasonably priced for a cocktail, and it was one of my favorite cocktails ever. I would definitely go back here again!

We had a group of 8 and the restaurant had another 12 or so people in. It took 30 min to order our food and an other hour in addition to get our food. 45 minutes after we ordered, we were told they had no burgers so it was obvious they hadn’t started cooking yet. The restaurant was not busy. It was not a good experience.

I was underwhelmed by 22 Square Restaurant. There were very few food options (maybe 5 entrees), and while the steak I had was good, I was expecting more. That's probably my fault for not looking over the menu before making the reservation. The ambiance was ok, but when the restaurant area isn't open, don't plan to go for food. We sat at a high top table in very small uncomfortable chairs. This place would be better for after dinner (or before) drinks.

This restaurant was so elegant and classy, yet vibrant and fun at the same time! They had THE BEST music (old school hip hop) but in a classy way... does that make sense? It was like soft background music in a classy setting but not stuffy or snooty at all. And the food was miraculous. Everything we ate and drank was great! Highly recommend it for a romantic night out or a fun dinner out with friends.

It was New Year’s Eve and no special menu just like any night and it wasn’t that good. Everywhere we ate in savannah was better. Location was good overlooking the park and central market.

First, the good:

The Maximilian Affair cocktail was terrific. Kudos to the bartender! Also, their honey white bread was warm and tasty

Now, the not so good:

-Ordered the Brussels Sprouts, but I was told that they didn’t have the roasted apples that came with it (this should’ve been a sign of the rest of dinner). We ordered it anyway and wasn’t all that bad.
-The Pimento Deviled Eggs were too rich and heavy for my taste. Was a chore to eat them.
-Ordered the Braised Short Ribs. Server came back and told me they wouldn’t be ready for two hours (at 6:45pm). I was slightly disappointed.
-I then tried to order the Shrimp and Grits. Server told me they didn’t have any available (“they were 86’d” were her words) Extremely disappointed at this point.
-Decided to go with one of the specials of the night, Spinach and Artichoke Risotto. The dish was extremely bland and underwhelming. Seemed like they either forgot to season or it was drastically under-seasoned. Also, I’m not sure if they used arborio rice. It seemed like a standard long grain rice. It was sent back.
-My other guest had the blackened grouper with potatos. Not horrible, but, again, under seasoned. We ended up sharing that.

I will say, my server and the restaurant director were very apologetic and tried to make up for the experience. They comped the majority of what was ordered. I appreciate that they took it upon themselves to do that. I do feel bad for them that the kitchen was so ill prepared, though. It was a bad reflection on the restaurant as a whole.

I’d hope to believe that my experience is a complete anomaly and that their product, as a whole, is truly better than what was presented.

Came with family for a post-Christmas dinner on Dec 26. They were out of a few items on the menu because of not being able to get deliveries on Christmas but it wasn’t a big deal. The Malbec on the menu was very nice. We enjoyed all of our dishes and they even comp’d dessert for us when we told them we had come for the hunters stew which they were out of. Great evening dining. Great service. Will definitely be back!
