We eat here whenever we have the chance. The steaks are as good as anywhere in STL area.

We ordered onion soup and was disapointed. We thought the soup was over cooked and not fresh. I told you this was a birthday celabration for my wife and checked with the respection before entering and she even asked her name. Nothing was presented to her after we all ate. I though you would had given her a desert or something. Was disapointed with you.

The reservation process with Open Table was GREAT, but the food at this establishment was WAY OVERPRICED. I ask for a frozen cocktail and was told that they did not make frozen cocktails, but could have any other types that I wanted. It was our anniversary celebration, which I indicated on Open Table reservation, and only the hostess that seated us acknowledged that it was our anniversary without us saying anything to her. The waiter said that the special of the night was a $75 steak, almost as if they was told to push the expensive steak. We ask what sides comes with it and we was told no sides came with it and that the sides would be an extra cost. We ordered 1 side and split it between us. When we got the steaks that we ordered, they was so small that they did not even cover a fifth of the plate. When we was ask about a dessert, I told the waiter that when I made the reservation through Open Table, that I had indicated that it was our anniversary and ask if we would get a special dessert for the occasion. He seem shocked that I would even ask a question like that. We ordered cheese cake anyway with 2 forks. When he brought it over, he had a single birthday candle on it. 2 steaks, 1 side, coffee and 1 cocktail was $89. Surprised we wasn't charged for our water. I can go to the steak house near my house and can get 2 steaks with sides, a frozen cocktail and dessert for about a third what we paid at 1904 steakhouse. I enjoy treating my wife to a good meal on our date nights. I will not step foot in that restaurant ever again and I'm not sure if I will go to that casino ever again either.

Overpriced for the quality of food received.

We tried this restaurant out before a show at the casino. We arrived two hours early and have to rush to our seats. The service is very slow - it took over 20 minutes to get our first drink order. The atmosphere is very good. For the price, the food is okay. My salmon was too salty, as was another guests Brussels sprouts. There was also a hair in my food. We won’t return.

We were able to take advantage of the early/sunset menu. The price was fantastic for a salad, entre and dessert. My dessert of the chocolate/carmel cake was crazy good!

Celebrated 2 anniversaries and 1 birthday ... the ambiance, food and service were fantastic. Lobster bisque and French onion soup were awesome and the bread ... oh, the wonderful bread and butter were wonderful, too. The scallops got the greatest review but would like to come back to try the rib eye steak. The birthday girl was surprised by the astuteness of our waiter by bringing out birthday dessert, which was absolutely delish.

When I made reservation, I noted it was our anniversary. But it was not noticed. I can't say anything negative about the restaurant, but nothing wow about it. We did have an enjoyable evening.

The new steakhouse burger was excellent, savory & tasty. Worth ordering. Previous experience on oysters, lamb, shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, lobsters and not to forget steaks were excellent as well.

I've had dinner at 1904 twice in August. The servers are great. Both times, the appetizers were undercooked. Although the food is served hot, prepped exactly as ordered (rare, medium...)and the visual presentation very nice; but almost all of our diners were very disappointed with their entrée. The steaks were very expensive, a bit bland and while they weren't "tough" they didn't melt in your mouth either. The fish entrees didn't fare any better. The menu is pretty limited. The desserts, while only 3 to choose from, were delicious and visually impressive. The drinks were good. The bar atmosphere is nice; but when they have live music it's too loud for such a small space. Great drinks, desserts and service, but would go elsewhere for dinner.

The salmon was extremely dry as well as the polenta. Jack was wonderful and saved the night. We keep trying the steak house but are always underwhelmed. Hate the way they only allow the top levels to use the lounge. Also the chef carried a tray of uncovered rolls through the restaurant. Just not what you would expect from a place that wants to be a top quality place.

I thought the food was good....not great for the price. Everything is a la carte. Ribeye, good size was 42.00 no sides. Mixed drinks were perfect. Jack the waiter was excellent. Was my birthday and I got free cake! Chocolate cheesecake of some kind...it was amazing.

Dinner was good. Service was good. I have been twice but it is not as great as I anticipated. I was looking for a wow factor. Both steak and lamb were slightly overcooked, this should be spot on for the price. Lobster bisque was great.

Great New Menu. The team pulled off a great new menu. The new pork tenderloin was fantastic. My wife had the grouper that was also fantastic. The new twist with the beet salad was a great addition. Wine list always great. The employees make you feel like family. Excellent meal and thanks for the changes.

Everything is super salty. We complained about the side too salty and they exchanged and still salty. Not sure why they need to put so much salt in all the dishes.

It was a horrible experience. We were rushed it showed on Sunday that the restaurant closed at 10 on the website but it actually closed at 9. So we got there at 8:40 and we're told we had to order right away and then rushed to eat our food. The food was cold and we had to pay 135 for our food even when we asked to speak to a manger they said they were busy and that we would have to pay still and just call on Wednesday because they are closed Monday and Tuesday. I'm very disappointed and I will share my review. Horrible food and customer service

Seated in a booth. I had to squeeze in and the table was anchored to the floor and could not be moved. Never had this problem at another restaurant (a little over weight but not that bad). Requested a table and was moved. The service was ok. The onion soup was very salty along with the bread, steak and salad. The broccoli was over cooked. I had a chicken dish and it was somewhat dry and tough for chicken. My wife's medium steak was very rare. Overall the food was not very good for the price they were charging.

We try to eat here whenever we are at the casino. We have never had a bad meal here. The service is great and food is prepared to specifications. I believe people are overlooking this restaurant because of it's location.

We were celebrating a birthday so were wanting a nice evening. The place is very nice and was a nice quiet place for a nice dinner. However we ordered oysters on the half shell for an appetizer and couldn't believe it when they were served as they were very tiny. They were $22 for a dozen. We had the scallops for our entrees and they were very good.
Also we had made reservations requesting a booth and that we were celebrating a birthday. When we get there the hostess asks if we have a reservation and we told her yes. She finds it on the computer and asks us if we have a seating preference (as there we not many people in the restaurant) and we said yes we wanted a booth so either that wasn't on their system or they didn't look and there was no mention of what we were celebrating.
Overall I would rate the facility fine, The appetizer very disappointing, the main course fine. All in all not nearly as good as expected for the price.

We both started with the lobster bisque, and it literally looked and smelled like fish guts. It had one piece of lobster in it that was flat; that's right...flat! I couldn't eat it. We went on to order the grouper, which came with butternut squash risotto and kale. The grouper was okay, but they put it on top of the risotto, which was mushy and greasy. We will never be returning to this restaurant. It was very overpriced for the value.

The food was excellent. The steak is aged and some of the best I've had. We ordered roasted asparagus and brussel sprouts as sides and they were very good. The restaurant is attached to the casino so the clientele was largely comped I think. Only a couple of tables had people dressed up. Four tables away from us was a guy talking so loud to the next table we could hear every word he said. The service was good but not necessarily fine dining service. The steaks made this trip worth our while.

The Strip steak and Filet were cooked perfectly! Did not like the mushrooms- they should note on the menu that they have bacon in them- too smoky flavor that did not mix well with the other seasonings.
