Me and my wife went to Savannah for some much needed time off. I absolutely love this restaurant. It is worth every penny, and enjoy it so much every time that we go.

My friends osso bucco was great...my meal was cold.....spicy jambalaya was tasteless, spiceless and lukewarm, haricots verte were crisp but cold, even the plate was cold......horrible disappointment but honey coated biscuits were to die for....but not worth the price tag....and we don’t drink! I have had wonderful meals there, the staff is most accommodating, and the pianist is enough to probably draw us back in the future.

Authentic historic Savannah atmosphere with outstanding live classical piano music. Superb service and menu selection. One of our favorites when visiting Savannah. My lamb was cooked to perfection and my wife's shrimp was equally outstanding.

Came back to celebrate our anniversary because the food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Piano player made the evening very special. We drove from Hilton Head Island just for dinner. Will be back next vacation. Thanks

Good service. My filet was to be well done but came out Luke warm and fairly pink. The mashed potatoes and sauce were outstanding. The piano player was great and really added to the ambience. Of course, the honey biscuit is exquisite. Overall the four of us really enjoyed our dining experience.

We dined at the 17Hundred90 restaurant while staying in the Inn for our anniversary . It was very crowded and loud when we first arrived due to large table who was celebrating a birthday After they left things changed completely and the live piano music filled the room.
When our dinner was served we could not have been happier !!! It was one of the best meals I have ever had ! I ordered a Mahi special that was out of this world ! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Savannah !

To start we loved the live piano music & ambience but were given a odd cocktail menu with all cocktails made with ginger beer? ?There was nothing without it so we inquired & got an additional drink menu with a few non-ginger beer cocktails. The honey biscuit to start was great! The appetizers were good but the entrees were hit or miss. The jambalaya was good, the chicken with Boursin was tasty but much too heavy on the cheese & the special of grouper & seabass on a bed of pesto pasta was just awful. I could not eat it, to their credit they did remove it from the bill.

Biggest missing piece, main dishes all lukewarm when served. Some vegetables actually still cold. Sort of dampened the whole experience . :(

Wine, bloody Mary and oysters were well done.

We heard about this on a Haunted Pub Tour and have been wanting to come to the restaurant. We came for our 31 anniversary and it was a great choice, food is fantastic. Ask about the specials or go with the Filet Mignon

This was my 4th time at this restaurant and I had the salmon. I wish the salmon was as good as the times before, but the waiter did not come and check if I liked how it was cooked nor did he ask how I would like it cooked.

I wrote this review so that this could be improved on as normally I have had great experiences at this restaurant. I do feel waiters should ask how you want your salmon cooked. Mine was not cooked enough.

Our server Clayton was very efficient and friendly. I had the fried eggplant and farro. The farro was tasteless but the eggplant ravioli was good. The green beans on the side was way over cooked. The ambiance was very cozy and charming. To our disappointment, the ghosts that live at ththe restaurant/Inn did not make their appearance. The location

Delicious food and impeccable service in an historical dining room, set in a quiet residential neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised to find prices in line with the generally far less interesting and attractive places on the river. We appreciated the waitress indicating prices for the off menu specials, which I've hardly seen before, though it obviously makes perfect sense and shows respect for the customer.

The restaurant is lovely and the piano playing was a nice touch. The service was fantastic as well. I have had better meals there were some items that were not fantastic but we did enjoy the desserts (key lime tart and pecan pie!) And the biscuits are fantastic!

I was very happy to find a restaurant that would cater to my vegan/gluten free preferences. My server was very knowledgeable about what dressings were not vegan, which breads were not gluten free, and she did not tell when I cheated and had the key lime tart as a dessert! But I deserved it after running the Savannah Marathon! The atmosphere was so cozy and warm, and the live pianist was the perfect touch!

Delicious meal, beginning with the roasted squash soup. The biscuit with melted honey butter tasted like we were starting with dessert. Sautéed shrimp was done perfectly with flavorful risotto! We are from out of state but will visit again if our travels bring us back to Savannah! Really enjoyable evening!

Disappointing. Food not as good as expected and for the price. Service great. Waiter very good. Ordered two fish dishes, on one the topping was cold; the other was over angel hair paste which had the most flavor of anything. Bread pudding desert not good. We ate there several years ago and was very good. Don't know what happened.

Very disappointed in our dining experience. Rack of lamb, ordered pink, was over cooked, tough and actually inedible. Despite a conversation with the waiter about how the salmon should be prepared, just past raw in the middle, it too was well done. Escargot was good but would have been excellent if it had been served hot. Very much liked the ambiance and piano player but everything else very sub par.

The restaurant is very pleasant and with a pianist playing in the corner of the room there was a very relaxed atmosphere. The food selection was very good with some interesting choices using local foods, our main problem was deciding what to eat and wishing we were staying longer so we could try other dishes. The service was great, or server was attentive and the food arrived without a long wait. The food is moderately priced and good value for money. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Really enjoyed this place. Had a cocktail before in the bar - fun and delicious "storm" drinks. Had an delicious meal in the dining room - highly recommend the pork shank. Our server was excellent, and we really enjoyed the piano player - it all added up to an outstanding ambience.

Amazing service from the moment we walked in to our visit at the bar and later by our server at dinner. Great food, great service. Loved the ambience of the building along with the piano player. Not your typical "trendy" restaurant - which we loved! Highly recommend!!

Classical Piano (live) background. Dim lighting. Brick and wood beams. Awesome food. We (2) had oysters Rockefeller, crab soup, specialty salad, trout w/crab and asparagus, crab cakes-scallops-shrimp, pecan pie, ice cream and coffee. Attentive but not intrusive service. Excellent martini and house chardonnay.

Compares favorably in our opinion with another of our favorites - The Pink House.

But for us, this is our preference.

Great food but slow service. Overheard an appetizer special that was not offered or told to us. We think our waiter was split between two rooms so maybe that was the issue. Will recommend and try again since the food was outstanding. Our check was delivered before we asked for it and we were not asked about dessert and coffee. Maybe he was a new waiter.
