Appetizer options include the pan-seared jumbo scallops with a habanero orange glaze and the grilled marinated artichokes with Dijon aioli dipping sauce. Enjoy days with beautiful weather and your meal outside on 1515 Restaurant & Lounge's sunny patio.
We had a nice evening at 1515 after having to find a last-minute reservation on a Friday. We were happy to see they had availability, but they were quite busy. It was a little chilly inside the restaurant because we were seated near the open door to the patio area, but once they closed it, it started to warm up a bit. Everything was tasty, and the portions were pretty large. The service was a little slow because they were so busy, but they were very friendly and attentive when they were at our table. I'd visit again.
Pleasantly surprised as it was the best dinner we've had here in quite a while. If you're looking for quiet ambiance this is Definitely not the place. My ears are still ringing!!
Dont get the well gin. As always this is not a dine & dash.
Plan 1 1/2-2hrs for the package.
food was very good. presentation not so much. we got there late so noise was quite high since it is a lounge also. service was ok but a little slow.
Food was delicious and service excellent. We all enjoyed our meal - Will go back!
Worst dining experience in WC to date. The salad was Sandy, pizza very doughy and came with pesto vs. red sauce as ordered and food took 45 minutes to come out. Not ever going back.
The staff was great. As soon as I entered with a birthday cake, the waiter took it to put in the refrigerator for us and brought it out with plates and silverware when we were done with our meal. My son is a vegetarian and there were plenty of non meat options for him. Made our birthday brunch a wonderful affair!
We LOVE this place! We're salad people and they definitely have one of the best selection of salads . They're generous with the grilled chicken on the salad as well ! We've also had some of the other entrees--the salmon and caprese sandwich are awesome ! What a lovely place to enjoy dinner or lunch. The service is fantastic ! Thank you for being one of our favorites!
Usually pretty good, ordered the crab stack. It was spoiled . Not a happy camper , resulted in a stomach ache, since I only had a bite
All they offered in compensation was a free dessert. They replaced the meal of course
Food and service were great. The manager came out to make sure we were taken care and see how and brought out a dessert for our special occasion Great place for dinner!
Excellent food. Great service. Very nice outdoor patio!
Made reservations and called ahead of time since we were celebrating my Wife’s birthday, all I asked was that they bring out a little cake at the end; the gentleman on the phone said there was no problem meeting those expectations and that the note would be made on my reservation. Upon arrival they found our reservation and I reminded the host of my special accommodations. Luke our waiter failed to meet expectations on multiple levels. He rushed off before we could ask for what we needed nearly running across the restaurant; I even said “don’t forget to slow down” because he couldn’t give us time. A cake wasn’t brought out for our special occasion either. Needless to say it wasn’t worth the 1 1/2 drive. Lamb chops cold and chewy and the seafood grill plate was bland.
Great restaurant and yummy food! We will return for sure!
First, the only reason the noise level was quiet was because we were able to be seated outdoors. Otherwise the restaurant quite noisy. This was a simple meal which we ordered a few appetizers and dessert and the food was quite nice.
Brunch was very good. We sat outdoors and it was perfect. Wind protected and sun protected. Menu short and excellent. Huevos rancheros suggested by waiter and was good and good looking. But meat lovers omelette was really great.
One of my favorite Walnut Creek restaurants - an undiscovered gem.
It was a special occasion for us and that wasn't even acknowledged in anyway. No crowd, no ambience. No, would not recommend to a friend.
Dinner was unusually busy. Servers were pressed and it was difficult to get his attention. The noise level from the bar area was not acceptable.
At a less busy time 1515 is a pleasant place to dine.
I would recommend 1515. We came in and order a bunch of small plates to share. Our server was friendly and attentive. We would go back.
1515 owner and managers - do you not pay attention to the reviews?? If you did you would realize the trend of reviews pointing out the BAD SERVICE??? Our server was nice but had waaay too many tables to be good. The bummer is that the food is great but the service is the one and only reason we won’t be back. Disappointed beyond belief.
Fantastic service and amazing food! We were so impressed! It was our first time there, but we’ll 100% be returning, with friends!! 10/10!
I informed them 3 times I had made the reservation via OpenTable, they still did not check us in, overall food was good
It took 45 minutes to get soup appetizers out. It was another 20 minutes before everyone had food in front of them. 4 dishes were from the Starter section, so we thought they'd come out faster. The brussels sprouts didn't make it to the table. Then, the manager brought them out and said, " ...They've been sitting at the window. I'll comp them". We were given the check before we were asked if we wanted dessert. They forgot to remove complimentary sprouts from the bill. They corrected the bill, after a brief discussion. It took nearly 15 minutes to finally get our food boxed up, and close out the bill. This is with barely anyone left in the restaurant. Our experience did not meet our expectations. This was for a party of 8, during mother's day.
I'm bummed because we've been here several times and this time our service wasn't up to par, we had to ask another server for assistance, and when told they don't do bottomless mimosas anymore we weren't told the price of the pitcher, which took up by surprise. My meal, eggs Benedict, came without an egg..and when it was returned corrected it was cold and not appetizing. We'll probably return but not for awhile.
We had a lovely Mother's Day Brunch with 11 of us. Food was served hot, timely and all together. Loved sitting outside on such a beautiful day. Had a pitcher of mimosa's and that was just wonderful idea! The food was delicious. My son had the prime rib benedict and said it was one of the best breakfast meals he has ever had!
Great food and nice atmosphere. Everyone there provide good service. However, the delay between our appetizer and the main course was very long. They need to work on that timing.
I made reservations mainly to watch the warriors game. I called to ensure a table by the tv. When we got there is was full with no tables available by the TVs. I was planning on walking away but the host made sure we got a good table to watch the game while we had dinner. Thank you!
Our waiter was great and the food was great too! We will be sure to return.
We often go to 1515 before going to a performance at the Lescher theater. I love the crab stack and my husband loves the Tuna Tartar. This with a salad is perfect for a spring or summer meal!
My husband and I always seem to go the same places in Walnut Creek, so we decided to try something new. The food did not disappoint, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The bar was hopping by the time we left; however, the bar and restaurant are separated, so the noise didn't carry over. Both my lamb and my husband's steak were prepared very nicely.
Very happy with the ambiance, the food, and the service. Would definitely go there again. Enjoyed the dinner and brunch! Patrick was our server on both occasions and was very attentive.
The restaurant is very nice on the inside and outside, and the food was decent but I feel it was slightly over priced for what you got. They have a decent wine list and large bar so maybe happy hour would be more feasible here.
The table we were given was horrid. It was right by the kitchen with a thin curtain flapping right in the face of one of our party every time someone went in and out of the kitchen, which was constant. Plus the sound of the kitchen doors. We went for a special occasion which as a let down.
They did not close the doors between the bar and restaurant area and there was a bar full watching a ball game and we could not hear one another at all.
Very poor ambiance, good food although one of our party was given the wrong order....not even close to what he ordered.
We had reservations well in advance so we should not have had such a bad table.
I took out my team for a Christmas lunch. I had never been here before. The food was excellent! The appetizers are a meal in themselves. Everything was well presented and tasted delicious. I had the french onion soup to start and it was full of onions and topped with bread and cheese. Most of the time you get a watered down broth. My pear salad was wonderful. Someone got the tuna tartar which looked like a piece of artwork. You should try this place.
Excellent choice of plates and ambiance for a business meet and greet lunch. Not too stuffy or to casual...nice place.
1515 is my go to place - brunch, lunch, happy hour.
Always fun and overall enjoyable👍
Very disappointing, barren tables, ambiance lacking. Made reservations telling them it was my wife's birthday and no acknowledgement whatsoever. Also on their menu they list prime rib but what they don't state is that they reheat on grill. That is a sin!!! So many better places in vicinity, save your money.
This place has good, solid food, with decent portions at a fair price. The medium-rare lamb chops were cooked medium-well, though. Service is professional, although it can be difficult to get the waiters' attention at times. The atmosphere can get pretty noisy, especially if there's a game playing at the bar.
We were seated at a table next to the kitchen. Noisy and hectic.
Served mussels that were in an oily, spicy broth. Spice was not mentioned on the menu.
Had to search for a server to get a refill of water. Server was disinterested and harried. Won't return.
Our dinners were very good with unique spices. The wait staff was helpful and attentive.
Choices for all courses offered good spectrum. Wine selection was creative and reasonably prices.
The Sea Bass was delicious!
