Diner Reviews
  • "Being a big fan of their North York HQ I was keen to try the new downtown Wildfire! Finding it is a bit tricky (hopefully some outside signage is in the works) but trust the address and aim for the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Food menu features all the best from HQ and the wine list, although smaller and sorted by country rather than type, has some gems! My barramundi was excellent and my colleague had the lamb, recommended by our very friendly waitress - generous portion and looked awesome! It's a small resto and being hidden away (although very close to Yonge) was quiet and a great spot in an otherwise busy downtown core if you're looking to actually have a conversation! Well done to Wildfire branching out downtown and I'll be back for sure!"

  • "We went to the new location for Lobsterfest - food was good but a bit pricey for what you get - however we've been before and will lilely return again Great design inside however"

  • "Service was good not too busy though, only open 3 weeks. Steak was wonderfully cooked. Chef came and asked himself -- nice touch."

  • "Nice to have a new choice for lunch in the core with outstanding service - and don't let the name fool you - not just a steak house!"

  • "My Mother & I were at Wildfire for dinner prior to the Mavis Staples show at Koerner Hall. We enjoyed the atmosphere & modern decor. Our Server, Rachel was very helpful to point out recommendatons from both the wine list & menu that were great. With the restaurant being brand new, her advice was especially useful. We liked the Fixed Price options. My Mother had the lamb & I had the sirloin and both were excellent. The creme brulee for dessert was delicious. Rachel's timely service enabled us to squeeze dessert in and still arrive in time for the show. Looking forward to the next visit, especially before a concert or hockey game."

  • "Place was hard to find.. It's not called Wildfire on the outside... Food was good, but nothing outstanding.. I was somewhat confused to why it's called a Steakhouse and Wine bar but it doesn't have Steak on the menu... I felt like having a streak, thus booked a lunch at a Steakhouse."
