Diner Reviews
  • "The service was wonderful. A server who attended to us like we were her only table! The food was really good. The server made suggestions and helped us decide, and she was spot on. We love this place and would highly recommend it. The Birthday girl got a complimentary flourless chocoloate cake, and I had a delicious cherry pie. Fabulous."

  • "This was a long overdue dinner with a friend, and it was very enjoyable. The waiter was very accomodating as my firend wanted her steak sandwich rare, and I have food allergies, and everything seemed to come as we wanted it. I did seem to have a problem the next day because of the food, but I don't believe that was the waiter's fault; possibly the dressing was not "corn free" as I needed it to be, but I did not think to mention it to him as most restaurants use only olive oil. Not sure what the problem was, but otherwise the food was very good."

  • "We went to Wildfire to celebrate my 45th birthday. It's one of my favorite restaurants and they did not disappoint once again. The food and drinks were fabulous as usual and our server was terrific. He even brought me a birthday dessert on the house which was also fabulous. This restaurant is also very kid-friendly which is important to us, as we usually bring our 5-year old daughter along with us."

  • "I went on a date with a beautiful woman and had a blast. Everything here was perfect. Our reservation was in place, we had a great spot, amazing food, and an excellent waiter."

  • "We accidently got their 15 min. early and they still had a table ready for us. Everyone's dinner was great, the service was exceptional. I noted that the noise level was a little higher than last time because we were seated by the kitchen and they were so busy! It was fun to hear that part of the restaurant noise, felt like we were in an episoide of a top chef show!"

  • "We reserved a table for 4 people and got seated in the bar area. The boot is just big enough to seat 4 and have a drink thats it. While 2 people were seated at a much bigger table. The waiter was very absent and lazy. Would not recommend this restaurant and certainly will not be back anytime soon."

  • "Good food, tables too close, the waitress kept spilling beverages on us while she was trying to serve us because she didn't have enough room."

  • "Never disappointed at the Wild Fire. Food was excellent and service very good. I also like the fact they have a gluten-free menu and serve Gluten-free bread as soon as you seat down."

  • "My wife and I each had shrimp and they were a poor choice, The other four guests had meat and they loved their choices. We will go back and try again."

  • "Wildfire is my favorite restaurant, we go often. You can always depend on friendly service and great food. The halibut with lemon butter is a favorite when it is in season. Also like the steaks which are prepared perfectly every time. I have never been disappointed when dining there."

  • "When making reservations, I requested a table where one person would have room to extend their leg because of a boot cast. Our other guest uses a cane and has difficulty manuvering through narrow areas. We were seated right in the middle of the main dining area where the backs of our chairs touched the chairs around us when seated. The server was unable to walk around the table but she managed. Wildfire is normally loud but because the tables were so close, it was exceptionally loud. Part way through the meal the person in the boot cast needed to elevate her leg but the very kind, pleasant and extremely competent server somehow got an extra chair to fit. The server made our situation bearable."

  • "I've been to this restaurant at least a half a dozen times and have never had a bad experience. Always perfect food, great service, and nice atmosphere. I will continue to go back here especially for special occasions and when I want a great great steak."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary here at the restaurant this past week. They did a nice job with roses that I ordered through open table waiting for my wife when we got to the table. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. She really enjoyed the evening which is what I cared about. The off menu cod special that evening was tremendous. I appreciated the for staff for taking such good care of our special night out."

  • "Love the food and experience. Staff is always tremendous and food is great"

  • "Great place to dine and atmosphere is great and food is amazing. The only thing I would criticize is the noise level and I had requested a booth for dining and did not get that request which was disappointing but overall I would recommend this place to everyone. Staff is amazing and very knowledgeable with the menu. Great place but a little spendy to eat there all the time."

  • "We used to hit Wildfire 3 times per month when we lived in MN. Since moving out of state we have anticipated the day we would be able to eat there again. Unfortunately, the food did not come as ordered and the server charged us for items we never ordered. Seems like the quality and attention to detail is waning. Good, but no longer great."

  • "We had a wonderful experience and our food was amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection and our waiter was the best! I believe his name is Pablo and he deserves a recommendation for wonderful table side service and a pleaseure to talk too!"

  • "Our recent experience on a Friday night was below average. The atmosphere was very noisy and tables were extremely close together which led to increased noise levels. This did not equate to the pricing which was similar to a Capital Grill or Sullivan's Steak House for a filet. Our steak was on par with the afore mentioned steak houses yet the noise and congestion left a unpleasant dining experience. Waiter was attentive and knowledgeable yet couldn't overcome the noise and feeling tight in the booth. Will not be returning for dinner - maybe lunch would be a better dining experience."

  • "Food was outstanding, service was excellent! Seated in a nice booth but was next to the take out station. Lots of commotion and noise. Still the best food I've had in a very long time, maybe ever! Server was attentive and friendly."

  • "We celebrated my birthday here and we happy with the food, wine, and service."

  • "Wildfire is always a good choice for special occasions. The food is always dependably good. My favorite this time was the side of potatoes au gratin. Nice and hearty. Lemon pepper chicken breasts were very tasty. Prepared with skin on, which added to the flavor (but also added to the fat content). Presentation of chicken (served in their juices) was rather sparse. Would have preferred them served on a bed of mashed potatoes - or at least with some colorful veggies on the plate with them (peppers and onions would be great here). Service at Wildfire is always the best. Lots of help staff always coming around to fill your water glass. Wait staff is always very friendly, personable, helpful and generous. Molten lava cake is THE BEST!"

  • "Got right in at our reservation time of 6pm. All 4 of us had different dinners and everyone thought the food was excellent. First time to Wildfire for all 4 of us. Great experience, we'll be back!"

  • "We celebrated two birthdays on Saturday, and there were six in our party including two children. The food was amazing, and the kids loved the choices they had. Not easy when dealing with picky eaters! Service was great - attentive without being intrusive. Just perfect all the way around!"

  • "My girlfriend and I had a wonderful lunch. The food was perfect. The waitress was very nice. Always great atmosphere. Our waitress, Natalia was very sweet and did a fabulous job."

  • "Went here to try a new restaurant with my wife and we were impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. Really enjoyed it; will be back. My wife also enjoyed the martini flight."

  • "Had a booth at the bar for a party of 3 - very cozy feeling. Server was attentive and friendly."

  • "We had dinner. My wife ordered the Chicken Tetrazzini, which was on the online menu. The server described it in unenthusiastic terms and attempted to upsell a steak before informing us that the item was no longer available. Service was generally inattentive and mechanical; I have had better service at Perkins. I would not recommend this restaurant based on this experience."

  • "Being we are frequent diners and a member of their reward program we eat here often. The service was good as usual, my daughter got ny strip which was cooked perfectly and mashed potatoes which are very good even though we don't like all the skins in them! I typically order the walleye sandwich"

  • "Great place to dine. Food excellent, service excellent. However, the bar is too crowded (too many tables?), and dining area was too crowded as well. It was a full house, but uncomfortable seating."
    Dined on 3/11/2014
  • "Wildfire was very busy that evening due to coupons about to expire so we sat at a booth in the bar area. Despite that the restaurant was packed, the waiter was very cool and calm but very efficient and organized - made for a very relaxing meal despite the crowd. We shared a salad and ribs. They plated the ribs and side dishes so we did not need to split the food. The food was delicious and Wildfire plating our food made the even meal more enjoyable. Well done - I love Wildfire!"

  • "I am a regular guest at this restaurant. I keep going back because I have never been disappointed by anything on any visit. This visit was on a late Sunday morning. Some members of the party are not beef eaters. They chose the daily special of cod and were very pleased with their meal. I chose the steak and eggs - very tasty, with enough left over for my breakfast the next morning. We all love the corn bread. In my experience this restaurant consistantly serves good food in a comfortable setting."

  • "Food was excellent but it was too noisy to have an "easy" conversation among 4 people at the table"
    Dined on 3/10/2014
  • "The waitresses table side manners could use a tune up. We all have bad days, right! We left a large tip, hopefully it brightened her day and perhaps she was able to bring her smile to the next guest."

  • "Our waiter was very attentive; he seemed to anticipate when we needed something, but didn't hover. He made good suggestions when we were trying to decide on our entree. The scallop de johnge was a hit; however the coconut shrimp was over done and consequently was tough. We received a most wonderful chocolate dessert gratis as it was our wedding anniversary. The drinks we had were expensive, but excellent. (No skimping on the alcohol in them.) We would go back again and this time we would try the prime rib which looked excellent and perhaps the medallions of beef - again they were beautiful at a table next to ours,)"
