This was a great place for an early (6:30pm) business dinner because we could talk and catch up, and then by 7 or 8pm it got moderately busy and full of life!

Good stuff is the brussels sprouts with honey. Stupid is the absence of cola drinks as mixers for basic drinks and cocktails. Lots of cider and beer choices. In general terms, I found the choices in this place too limited for a friends get-together.

I went to Wassail last year around this time as it was a vegetarian restaurant with a great cider menu. I returned this year to enjoy some more vegetarian food and cider but to my surprise found it was no longer a vegetarian restaurant. While the ciders were really good, the entrees were no where near as compelling as their vegetarian counterparts and the selection was very limited. Only four entrees to chose from; we had the weisswurst and it was a little bland. The anchovy crostini was good; some of the other appetizers were ok but the star was the cider rather than the food and were were hoping for food equal to the cider. Bring back the vegetarian!

I was APPALLED by how SWEET most of the food was and 'ESPECIALLY APPALLED' by pork loin 'white sauce'... Just totally off... will not go back. Wow, I was surprised how terrible the food was and totally different from the pictures on their website. Pork belly appetizer was totally dried up and flat... just not good...
