Co-owned by NBA star Vince Carter and his mother, philanthropist Michelle Carter-Scott, Vince Carter's brings together great food and spectacular design in a welcoming "upscale-casual" dining atmosphere. Vince Carter's is perfectly suited for the NBA star's hometown. The menu features a wide variety of chef created recipes inspired by top-quality ingredients including Certified Angus Beef ®.

The impressive building is a magnificent display of wood and stone designed by architect Greg Simpson of Cuhaci and Peterson, Orlando, Florida. Michelle worked closely with award winning interior designer Anna Schmidt to create an unparalleled dining ambiance. Each guest's view through Vince Carter's reveals breathtaking detail in design.

  • " The house Merlot was such a disappointment. Our Brie appetizer and Steak were superb. The guests across the room were so loud we had difficulty conversing across our own table: this was on a Monday evening with a sparsely filled dining room. I wish the attentive server had suggested another spot as the noise became louder. We reserved online and the hostess only had part of the reservation notes. As we were leaving she said she finally was able to see our entire reservation request. The request was simply asking for a quiet romantic spot with a view... However it is definitely worth repeating."

  • "From the time we walked in the door to the time we left the feel good friendly sincere smiling faces and attention was beyond compare. Then the food, wow, so many choices and all that we chose came out looking good, tasting good, and well done. The time between servings was fine. However, a loud birthday celebration (three times in 5 minutes, was loud and distracting enough to be disturbing. All other facets of this beautiful restaurant was, I will be back."

  • "I was expecting far better food and service for the prices charged. Porterhouse Steak was good but not great. Steak is usually based on quality of meat, and for a restaurant in this price range, I would expect better quality meat. I was really disappointed with the Carolina Shrimp and Grits. The grits were two "patties" and I had to mix them with the overpowering sauce. The grits were gummy and lumpy. The shrimp were very small and grainy. Several of the $4 desserts were "sold out". This was 7pm on a Saturday! Waiter was friendly but not knowledgable."

The manager said that this was because we made the reservations through open table. I would have been nice to know that this was going to occurred since this was a special night for 14 of us. it all turned out okay, but this should have been explained when we made the reservations. "

  • "We went for mothers day. The food was excellent, but the service was not so great. He was quick and got the order correct, but he showed no emotion or interest in us in any way. He never smiled and barely spoke to us, but then we would see him with other coworkers and was laughing and having the time of his life! I will definitely return to Vince Carters for the food, but we will make sure we never have that server again."

  • "I was happy to get a reservation for Mother's Day at Vince Carter's. it's hard to get my family all together with everyone's work schedules. I was a little disappointed to see when we arrived that you were only serving a few select items and not your regular menu. My mom and I ordered the avocado and tomato caprice salad and had stale pita bread toast points. Our server Dylan, was very attentive and accommodating. He quickly brought out a different kind of toast points that were much better. We all had a great night. Thank you Vince Carter's you will be seeing us again soon."

  • "Hostess was awful. Attitude. Arrived on time and no one at hostess stand. Five minutes later she arrived with her 32 ounce soft drink in hand. No apology for us waiting. Our waiter Mat was a nice young man. Knew nothing about wine , no cocktail napkins under drinks, no serving plates under my shrimp cocktail for shells, no steak knife with my steak. He has potential but needs training. Chef- excellent. Food presentation - excellent. Price-value is very good. Fire the hostess and better train the staff. It's not rocket science. "

We had never been to Vince Carter's, and we took a chance and went. We were both grateful that we did! The food was prepared in a timely manner, with a great appearance and an even better taste! The bread, the salad, the main course, all of it was delicious. I highly recommend anyone to visit and enjoy Vince Carter's in Daytona Beach if you are looking for a nice, romantic setting, or if you're looking for a place to have a fun time with a group of people. With the first because it was new - terrible, the next visit about a year later with the thought the newness is out, they are settled in - wrong- service and food not good.- Third time, not my choice, business meeting and entire party of 6 not good, only the drinks and service were great - and finally one more try for Mother-In-Law birthday and early mothers day- Such a disappointment - Service is Out-Standing truly has come together - the location and facility are beautiful - we just wish the FOOD was good. I have not done burgers in the sports bar maybe that is the mistake - but between the 4 visits we have pretty much sampled through our own and our guests a good portion of the menu to no avail-food not good"

I was expecting more people. Our server kept getting lost between the kitchen and our table. My filet mignon was tasteless. I was expecting better for the price. Longhorn Flo has more flavor. The wine list was overpriced to the maximum. A wine that I buy for $20 at Total Wine it was priced three times more. Overall you go to the restaurant to pay for Vince Carter's name not for the food."

  • "A special lunch for an 89th birthday party was made beautiful by the staff at VC's. From reservations to seating to the finale birthday cake everything was made easy. The food was MAGNIFICENT. Everyone raved about their selections. The price was a pleasant surprise as SIX of us had HUGE lunch meals and beverages for a total tab of $90 including taxes. The waitress seemed to have too many tables as she "forgot" to return with requests. Also the $10 fee to cut and serve the cake seems exorbitant. We chose to cut it ourselves instead."

It was virtually impossible to get a refill on water. I would return for the quality of food, and hopefully service will be at par for the prices and ambiance."

The wedge salad was good, but it was downhill from there. The crab cakes were fishy and the ribeye was fatty and flavorless. We wouldn't go back or recommend it to anyone."
