They had never been and I wanted them to feel special and to be waited on like they have done for others for years. V & A's did not disappoint...the service our waiter, Sean and his crew, gave us was outstanding! My wife and mother thoroughly enjoyed their experience and their meals and I was a hero (for a few hours anyway). If I had any complaint it would be that my NY Strip (cooked "medium") could have been a little tastier. He knew so much about the menu, suggested a delicious red snapper entrée and was extremely personable. The manager Eli was available for me to give compliments to and even walked me back to my area. My husband and I felt like we were treated like celebrities. Maximilian served my husband his dessert with Happy Birthday written on the plate and lit a candle for him. It's just remarkable the type of service we received. Many times when my husband and I go out to "fine-dinning" restaurants we are not treated well from the start, but once we order an expensive dish, then the people change.
