Diner Reviews
  • "Was just here a few days agoThe service was great and the food is even better. A must try for everyone."
    Dined on 4/11/2014
  • "The menu offered nothing new, interesting, exciting. The fish special was uninspired and bland. The on-the rocks drink merely wet the ice cubes. Wine by the glass was overpriced. It was so loud I could barely hear my visiting cousin across the booths' table. It was a crowded Friday night. The space was cramped. The new layout was obviously done with maximizing the seating as the priority and not for diners' elbow room. The coat racks are just exposed hooks in the public bathroom "lobby" area allowing anyone going to the restrooms easy access to all the coats. Really expected more from a fine dining facility that's locally owned and just remodeled. An expensive mistake."

  • "Mostly booths and it is cramped for space for bodies and food. Certainly only caters to thin, younger people. Our server was exceptional though. May have enjoyed the food more if we had not been so uncomfortable in our seating."

  • "This was a great place to steal a few "hours" out of the day! Met my sister and daughter for lunch and enjoyed the wine, food and company in a great atmosphere. Our hour lunch turned into 2 1/2!! We could actually enjoy our conversation, not be rushed, and needless to say the wine and food were fantastic! Waitress was great; we were always replenished, but never felt constantly interrupted. Location was perfect, but parking was a bit of a hassle. I would highly recommend Tucci's and looking forward to going back."

  • "Had the bread pudding, which was somewhat dry but tasty with not enough crème anglaise. Peeve of mine in pretty much all restaurants: Waitress called me 'miss' and 'dear'. (I am 56.) Also, don't ask if I'm still 'working on it'. With these minor exceptions, service was outstanding."

  • "I live on the Great Lakes, so I'm often hesitant to order walleye when I'm dining out. My walleye dinner at Tucci's tasted like I had just taken the fish off the line myself! Presentation was top notch. Will definitely return to Tucci's next time I'm in Dublin."

  • "My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner, and the service could not have been better. The manager was extremely accommodating. The food was also very good."

  • "You see it all the time... restaurants rise and fall. Tucci's has clearly peaked and is now on its demise. I know no facts related to this business but I can tell from my visit Tucci's is either under new mgt or has a new chef. The quality of my filet was less than last experience (about 6months ago) and the Yukon mashed potatoes not the same. Presentation is way off and new wait staff isn't what it used to be. Don'tthink they've been trained to previous standards or value the level of professionalism previously experienced. I could admit this was an isolated experience and could be different the next time, but the number of different infractions could only identify a clear pattern."

  • "I think Tucci's has the best wine selection in Columbus."

  • "I enjoyed the flavorful ambiance of fusion-style dining in a dim setting. Really set the mood right. The food was exquisite, provoking the palate to utmost delight. The service was five-star, all-around. I was compelled to leave a generous tip for the amazing experience."

  • "This is a great place for a first date or for an ongoing relationship. It provides so many amenities. It is more fun decidedly, in the springtime and summer when you can eat outside and hear the live music. The cuisine is always excellent. The service is awesome."

  • "Perfect place to dine in Dublin. Cozy indoor dining and the best best summer patio in town!!!"
    Dined on 3/21/2014
  • "This was our second time to dine at Tucci's in recent times; once for Sunday brunch and once for dinner.....Truly excellent on both occasions; our waiter was delightful and very efficient (Patrick?). In any event, I am sure we will be future customers and looking forward to the summer and the outside patio."

  • "It's a consistent experience each time I go. The edamame are outstanding. Didn't have any Irish specialities for a city known for its Irish heritage on St Patty's Day."
    Dined on 3/17/2014
  • "We had anexceptional time. Maybe the 3rd or 4th time we have been there. It was a bit spontaneous to go this particular night and it turned out great which is even better. Joanna was especially terrific. Very professional, very personable. We discussed her two stars and believe she definitly deserves a third one. She really was charming, with a ton of expertise and knowledge. Retail price on the wine on Sunday was somehting we did not know about and makes a big difference to us. Also, we hear how great the patio is in good weather with all the music so we look forward to getting back soon. The short ribs were very good as was the shrimp pasta dish."

  • "For th price we paid for our meal I expected much more. I ordered my steak rare an seemed like the steak was dropped on the grill and taken off. My husband had the salmon which was really good. I will try again and hope that it is a better outcome."

  • "I am from Bellefontaine, but I have to say that Tucci's is one if my favorite dining places."

  • "Enjoyed the food but our waiter was not very attentive and seemed very lackadaisical about serving us."

  • "If you are looking for well prepared dishes, this is the place to come to. They recently revamped their menu adding many new items. Each dish is a symphony of flavors blended into a mouthwatering experience. Well worth the $$$."

  • "I took a dear friend to Tucci's for her birthday and we both had a fantastic time. It was exactly the experience I was hoping for--great food and atmosphere and good service. She had the Tomato Bisque Soup and Chicken Salad sandwich and I ordered the Chicken Lemon Artichoke Soup and Caesar Salad with grilled Shrimp. Absolutely delicious! The chef(s) there know how to make fantastic dishes flavored to a "T." This is quickly becoming a favorite for me. You won't be disappointed."

  • "Everyone at Tucci's make the service the best! Food is outstanding, wine selection is tops! My fav restaurant in this area so far!"
    Dined on 2/24/2014
  • "My most recent experience leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. Ordered "calamari 'fries'" which arrived limp and undercooked. The sauces were good, but the calamari inedible. For the first time, I sent it back. The manager came over and behaved like I did not understand good food and seemed offended. He practically rolled his eyes at me. After that, the previously affable server, became standoffish and it cast a shadow on the rest of the meal. They should not be so arrogant about their food. This is not the first time it was inconsistent. I had rubbery shrimp on a salad a few years ago,"

  • "I am a frequent diner at Tucci's, and Friday night was like most others. Food was great, atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was excellent. I am coming back and will continue to tell my friends about this place."

  • "We showed up at the restaurant to find the place very busy in the dining area and the bar. The hostess let us know that our table should be ready momentarily. About 7 minutes later, she came over to let us know that the party sitting at our table was still sitting and she asked if we were okay or needed anything. About 5 more minutes later, she returned, apologized and said that it appeared the people at our table had no intentions of leaving any time soon, even though the table was cleared and checks had been paid, so she asked if it would be okay if she seated us in the private dining/wine room. Of course, we took the offer and had a wonderful dinner with our friends in relative quiet. The food was excellent service was perfect!"

  • "I've been to Tuccis many times for both business lunches as well as dinner and/or drinks on the weekends. I always find Tuccis to be a pleasant place to eat with good food. In the last year they did an update to the interior/décor that was a nice improvement. I've never had a bad dinner or experience here. I've hosted many business lunches and always find it a nice place to go where you can talk and have a productive and nice quality lunch. We went Saturday for my wife's birthday / valentine dinner and took our kids. Everyone loved their meals and left very satisfied."

  • "The breading on the veal chop was black in spots leaving a burned taste. Spouse had very good salmon meal. Enjoyed desert and wine was very good"
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "We have dined at Tucci's multiple times over the past several years. No meal has ever disappointed us. My husband ordered the veal meatloaf and I had the flounder with tomato ravioli on Valentine's Day. Both of us would order our meals again. So glad we made the hour long drive from Circleville. We're planning to make reservations for our dinner group of 11 people to dine in the Emerald Wine Room in April or May."

  • "Valentine's day dinner, thanks to a gift card from a student's parents. I ordered the Flirtini, which was a berry flavored martini. Not bad, but not my favorite. They had a special Valentine's menu, and I had trouble finding something I really wanted to order. Ended up with the Chicken Marsala, which my husband adored. I thought it was fine, but it just didn't appeal to me. I ended up eating part of his steak while he polished off my entree'. I think I would like to try their regular menu before making a final judgment on this place! It is pricey, so definitely a special occasion dinner."

  • "(Visit was the evening of February 14th) Overall I was not disappointed by the food that was offered, but it is not somewhere I would take a romantic evening out again. The tables were too close together for my liking making it very difficult for my wife and I to have a private conversation. At one point the gentleman at the table next to us just leaned to his right and started a conversation with us. For me, this restaurant would be great for a general evening out with friends or family. Our salads were satisfying and different than others we have had, steaks cooked well and full of flavor, and their homemade sorbets were interesting and most definitely worth a try!"

  • "Empty at 6, full at 7. Food was great. The anchovies on the Ceasar were actually recognizable as fish. Steak was prepared as requested. The meat was not as marbled as what you would get at a proper steakhouse but still very good. Only real demerit was that the salads were served on a warm plate and the chef had a very liberal hand with the blackening seasoning on the scallops. Wine list was long and comprehensive."

  • "Although we have lived in the Columbus area for many years, we had never made it to Tucci's until recently. We had heard about the great reviews and were not disappointed. The calamari was awesome, the scallops, steelhead trout and veal meatloaf were enjoyed by everyone and our waiter was friendly and professional. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they do not have the ability to make espresso or cappuccino, but that is a minor thing. Can't wait to try the patio in the summer! Thanks for a lovely evening."

  • "We went to Tucci's for a casual woodfired pizza birthday dinner with our 4 grown children only to find they stopped doing them last year. All of us enjoy a expertly prepared meal and found delightful dinners that we raved about. Spent more money than we had planned but it was well worth it. Tucci's is a neighborhood gem for sure! Ambiance is nice but a little loud sitting close to the bar. Service was a little slow but professional. See you soon"
