  • "Keep trying to find a great restaurant near Seattle Center because we are frequently there. This was our second try @ Toulouse Petite, because the first there was an hour wait, so this time made a reservation. The ambiance & wait staff were all very friendly & took the time to answer all our questions. Food was timely & absolutely wonderful. We had pasta dishes, crab, & the lamb burger-presentation was beautiful & the flavors out of this world. Drinks were delicious but slowin coming. In all, loved dining there & plan to return again & again."

  • "started with the pear a dox, yummy, light and refreshing. both girls had the cauliflowered, asparagus and truffled oil soup with the crab and chervil, the creamy texture and the light truffled accents were superb, our favorite for the night. Shared the crawfish beignets, fried green tomatoes (tasty and crisp) and crispy fried pork cheeks (a little dry, somewhere between crispy and melt in your mouth, perhaps on a thinner slice of bruschetta). limited on time, open tabled reservations and dined and made it to Benaroya in plenty of time. many thanks."

  • "Toulouse Petit is just a lot of fun. Laid back, yet excellent service. Extensive menu. Excellent food. And they pay attention to the details without making a fuss over them. Not inexpensive, but you feel like you get what you pay for. It's only the second time I've been there but I am planning on returning at least every so often. Overall, a great dining experience."

  • "After reading reviews, we had great expectations. On the good side, the wine list IS amazing. The food had inspiring ingredients but in some cases fell short. Example: prawns with red basil and coriander that was so salty you could barely taste the flavors. The pecan pie IS awesome, though. I would go again, but not expect perfection. :)"

  • "Chose Toulouse as it was close to the hotel where out of state friends were staying. I arrived early and from the minute the valet took care of my car and the bar tender mixed my drink I was enjoying the restaurant. Once we were seated, which was spot on the time of the reservation, our server Heather made our dining experience great. She made several "personal" favorite suggestions after we had all decided to go with the fixed price menu selections. Even the fixed price menu selections were extensive. We all ordered something different for each course and they were delivered in a timely manner, never felt rushed at any time. It was a busy night but we felt treated like long-time regulars. Great food and service."

  • "Not all customers are on the same level. You have "A-Hole" Kids (21-25) that destroy the ambience for professional adults looking for a professional dining experience. My fault for going to a top 10 restaurant I guess. Food was as expected although, when I ordered a rare filet, (Explained that it must be “rare/cool in the center”) I was more than disappointed when it came out medium to medium well $60.00 is an inexpensive price but only if it’s done right. I here breakfast is better!"

  • "We (a middle-aged couple with adult son and girlfriend) enjoyed a great meal at Toulouse Petit on a Monday evening. The food was great - beet salad a highlight. As were the drinks - especially recommend 'Atomic Orange' for a refreshing summer kick. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the 3-cheese plate; the cheeses were all wonderful, but the portions very tiny. And the reason for 4 instead of 5 for ambience is that it was a bit loud to have a conversation at times. However, if there was an option for 4.5 out of 5, I would have gone for that for both."

  • "We went here 2 years ago when they first opened and we felt it was not as wonderful this time. The ambience is nice and service was friendly but we were not crazy about our meal. Just ok. I did not care for the pecan pie at all and our server removed it from the bill. Thank you!"

  • "This was our second time dining here, and the experience was just as good. The food is delicious, something for everyone. Our server was good, she forgot a couple of items that were ordered, and was mistaken on another, but she corrected her errors quickly and without being flustered. We were also comped a couple of items to make up for the errors, we appreciated this, even though we didn't expect it. Standout dishes: Crawfish Beignets; Frisee Salad; Shrimp, Crawfish and Andouille with Creamy Grits; Lime and White Chocolate cheesecake. Excellent cocktail menu. Will definitely be back when we return to Seattle."

  • "We went to Toulouse to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation. Our experience started off bad, and went downhill from there. I reserved a booth for 7, but when we arrived, we were told that the only booth was being held for a party of 8. Instead, they crammed us into a table meant for 6, without any apology or taking responsibility for their mistake. We all ordered appetizers before the main course. Before everyone was done with their appetizers, the wait staff begain to bring out main courses (not enough room on the table for 6), rushing those still eating their appetizers. To top it off, 2 of the main courses arrived cold. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Overpriced, terrible service, and poor food. Stear clear."

The crusty bread is served with real butter, not the ubiquitous olive oil one now finds. Wait staff is prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. A great find and we will recommend."

The wait for food was longer than usual, our 2 steaks came overcooked, and our waitperson forgot a glass of wine order completely.   • "In town for a long weekend and had to see what all the buzz was about. Menu was extensive...too much so. As a native of New Orleans, I was surprised to see a restaurant offering so many creole/cajun items...which led me to consider whether the chef knows the difference. 'Crab Maison' was decent, fried pork cheeks a bit overcooked. The blackened yellow snapper over grits was excellent...very nice seasoning. The service was abysmal. Asked for a drink menu with my entree and the waitress finally came back to take my order after I had finished my meal. Sat with empty plates in front of us for 10 minutes before the waitress returned with the check! Never asked if we wanted dessert. How rude! Skip this place. Go to Pink Door instead. "

  • "I've had the Jambalaya, Gumbo, Fried chicken and Grits dishes for dinner. It seems like they never disappoint. Remember to save food for dessert. You cannot leave the restaurant without trying their beignets. Some people dine there just for that dish. "
