  • "Friendly, courteous service. The creme brûlée was excellent. The main meal food was good but not great. The over stuffed chairs may work well in the living room but they are low, soft and uncomfortable to sit in during dinner. We had to change our wine order three times because wines listed on the menu were no longer available or not in stock."

  • "Nice variety of breakfast and lunch appetizers and entrees. The savory skillet has outstanding flavor. The sweet skillet (apple) sounds like it is also a winner. Bloody Mary has a great combination of horse radish and spices with a big celery stick. Cuban sandwich, duck wings appetizer with Korean sauce & burger dishes are all extraordinary, very tasty and very memorable. So are the fries and home fries - nice flavor, nice salt and nice crunch. Every item - even the fries - is worthy of a trip to the Wild Horse. Very friendly and knowledgable waitress and chef. Very comfortable setting with big plush seats. Easy parking across the street. Go try it; you'll love it and won't be disappointed. We'll be back to try more."

  • "We came upon the Wild Horse by accident and were very happy we did. A decent beer list, imaginative cocktail list, and good food. There weren't a lot of food choices, but the sock-eyed salmon and dips we had were both very good. We would go there again if we were in the area."

  • "What a gem of a place. Warm and inviting with a menu and chef that deliver with an atmosphere that is delightful."

  • "We had a Gift Certificate.1 The ambiance was perfect, our waitress Ashley was very friendly and super accommodating. The owner was super friendly as well as helpful in helping me find the perfect wine. Our meal consisted of; duck winglets they were actually drumsticks very tasty however over cooked. We both had the steaktips which were over cooked and not very tasty. The wedge salad was delicious, the Brussels sprouts with goat cheese, I had these as my side these were unbelievably delicious. My husband had broccoli and masculine salad that he said were ok. Dessert; apple crisp I'm not sure this was homemade I feel like apples were from a can. Overall I would try another and hope food was a lil better maybe they just had an off night. "

  • "We are always trying out restaurants and we came across this restaurant using Groupon and looked at the menu and liked what we saw and gave a shot. Well, the food was excellent. Fried oysters appetizers was lightly battered and melted into your mouth with each bite. We both ordered rack of lamb and they were delicious. My wife enjoyed the watermelon martini (their special drink) and their service was attentive, but not intrusive and very friendly. With the Groupon coupon, it was a very good experience. Otherwise, it would have been a bit pricey. "

  • "It was our first time here and let's just say they didnt give us a reason to hurry back. The food was mediocre and pricey for the quality of the meal. The twice baked potato was like mashed potato in the skin. The grilled broccoli was hard and tasteless. The tuna was a little dry with little sauce with it. "

  • "Slow service initially because not enough staff on hand because we were told no one wanted to work on the Sunday of a holiday weeekend. Once we received service everything was timely. The initial wait was long however and she apologized. The flat bread special app. was good although I would have wanted it with meat but my wife did not. The Morocan seasoning on the pork chops was delicious. The wild salmon was cooked med rare as siggrsted and the spices on top added a lot of flavor. Great meal and the dessert was apple cinnamon crisp for two. It was huge and we enjoyed it except it had a bit too much of the sauce and not enough ice cream. "

  • "Excellent service, but the good part of the experience ended there. Very few choices and some food was still frozen in the center. Could use better food preparation."

  • "The food at the wildhorse cafe was delicious. Starting with their homemade bread which was thick and nutty served with a fabulous butter and honey. Our appetizer plate had an amazing truffle oil cheese with a grilled portabella and some great crostinis. The entrees were obviously the highlight of the meal, we both got grilled meat with sides which seems like their specialty. My rack of lamb was done perfectly and was unbelievably tender. My girlfriend's tuna was also amazing. They give you 2 fairly large sides which were also very good and somewhat unexpected from an expensive eatery, sometimes expensive places seem to skimp out on serving size. "

  • "Food was good. cooked to order. Portions only okay. Steak tips only came w/ four. For the prices, would have liked a salad with the meal and not have to pay extra. Not very crowded for a nice beautiful Saturday night. Not in the greatest area, so maybe this is why. Service a little slow. Waitress had many tables, it looked like. took a while to take our order."

  • "Service was great! It was a busy night and the chef atll agreed to make a menu exception. Friendly vibe for the atmosphere. We all had a great time."

  • "Went on a Satirday eve, food and service were terrific. Really enjoyed the evening. I think the restaurant changed hands recently and we weren't sure what to expect, but we were extremely pleased to find that the food is even better than before. "

  • "Th service was very timely, the lamb lollis appetizer was fantastic. The steak tips could've been grilled as opposed to pan seared as they were a little chewy but still delicious, and dessert was fantastic. The atmosphere was warm and felt like almost an entirely different restaurant from the bar side."

  • "Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday party with family and friends. We had 11 people and the Wild Horse was very accommodating. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I got the Ahi Tuna cooked rare and it was just delicious. They even allowed us to order a few things off the bar menu which were not on the dinner menu."

  • "The food was just okay. Fried oyster apps was tasty, although the oysters were tiny. Brussels with my rack of lamb entree were undercooked. Wild rice was a little mushy like it had been cooked in huge portions and left sitting. The t-bone and rack of lamb were fine, but the price was for both entrees was for quantity not quality. Waiter forgot my wine- needed to ask again and that was well after we had finished eating the appetizer. Little attention from the waiter until after we received our entrees."

  • "They butterfly'd the filet and doused it in bbq sauce... its a sin to do that to such a good piece of steak. At the table they sat us in, one of the chairs was like a lounger that belonged in a living room. Definitely inappropriate for dinner - could barely reach the table to eat. When we asked to move, the hostess looked very taken aback and said 'all of our tables have chairs like that' - and didn't move us. Would not recommend this place for anything but a good martini. Those they did right."

  • "First time visitors with a Groupon. The person who greeted us was bored and did not really care that we were there. We were given freedom with the menu and everything we ordered was sumptuous. Server was friendly and efficient. They did not have the wine we ordered, but a substitute was offered. The decor is tired and needs a lift. The light over my head did not have a cover and the windows need dressing badly, as the view is sad. Loved the Frank Sinatra era music. The cushy chair I was given had me way too low for the table....next time I will ask for a real chair. Not 100% sure I will go back."

  • "It is a small restaurant with an open kitchen with separate bar area. As a family we went there to celebrate a nice occasion and unfortunately I was disappointed. The Wild Horse used to be a wonderful place to go to get a great meal, but with the new ownership the food quality has gone down. I got the pork, pork, pork and it was dry , dry , dry. Another in my party got the tuna and it tasted like it had liquid smoke poured over it. This totally ruined the delicate taste of the fish. The chair I sat in was so saggy I needed a pillow so I could at least feel like an adult at the table. Too bad it is not the great dining spot it used to be. On the plus side the wait staff was great and attentive. Drinks were good as was the desert."

  • "The food was great. The service was good too, though it felt artificially warm. I will be going again, with a Groupon, as it was romantic, delicious, ample and with the Groupon affordable."

  • "I picked this restaurant because of the name- and then loved the menu. The food was great! I had the tuna, even though I wasn't excited about the hoisin sauce (I'd ask them to leave it off next time- or use wasabi...). The brussel sprouts that came with it were fabulous. My husband had the rack of lamb which was perfectly cooked. The horse painting in the lobby was beautiful- they could use more horsey items throughout."

  • "We decided to try the Wild Horse in its new rendition. The ambience is warm and inviting. Interesting beer and wine list. Service was slow. Menu is heavy on meats. For vegetarians, there are few options unless you make a special orders. I think it has potential though."

  • "had a yummy dinner with friends at the Wildhorse. Beginning with the delicious martini and ending with a fresh brewed coffee...this meal was to die for. Every member of our party was delighted with their meal. I would recommend this place to anyone."

  • "Wild Horse cafe under new ownership is nit like it used to be..I used to go years ago, it was eclectic, charming, full of character, the menu was diverse and the food good. I just went back on Valentine's night for dinner. I sensed a problem as soon as I walked in, it was not even half full. The charm was gone, it was barren and boring, the menus limited and the food terrible. What a is appointment."

  • "Took the family here for valentines day (Wife and 3 kids 13,10,8). I was pleasantly surprised at the ambiance an decor. We were seated at a very nice semi-circle booth. They had a special menu for V-day so it was fairly limited. They were able to accommodate the kids with the kids menu. I had the rack of lamb which was a strong 9, very good. My wife had the Scallop Risotto which she liked but was overdone with dill. We also had the onion soup for appetizers which was OK but I thought it was a very small soup for the $$. I dont know if it was a V-day thing but I thought the food was priced on the high end. We liked enough to go back and try it again with the normal menu soon. Service was slow (between apps and meal) but friendly."

  • "My wife and I go here maybe once every 2 months. The food is excellent. The service is impeccable and they have 24 craft and mainstream beers on draught (and a wide variety of bottled beers). A tiny bit on the pricey side but we'll worth it!"
