  • "We enjoyed a delicious meal. I definitely recommend it."

  • "I had an anniversary party and their service was great. Everyone raved about the food. I think they have a great menu. It is good place to go for a reasonably priced lunch. Also a nice place to celebrate a special occasion. Like"

  • "We always enjoy our dinners here. The set-up with so many booths makes it private and easy for conversation. Have never had a bad meal or poor service."

  • "First off I would like to say that the Summit Grill was recommended to me by a friend. Our server was outstanding. Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing. Steaks that melt in your mouth like butter. I will be going back for sure. I'm recommending the place to all of my friends."

  • "I love to bring clients to the Grill for wonderful food and service. Don't miss happy hour and make sure to top it of with the chocolate gooey cake. For us - one with 4 spoond. You won't be disappointed!"

  • "Food was very good. Our server wasn't the best as we waited a while for drinks but and lacked attention to our table but not that big a deal. Server also wasn't good at recommending food as she said everything was good on the menu and failed to ask specifically what the guest prefers or dislikes to recommend something a bit more specific for the guest.I noticed this with other tables also. She did however make us aware of the wine bottle special which was nice. Food was fantastic. Very dark I side for my liking but would go back. Recommend nachos appetizer and sandwich menu. Reuben was quite good and really liked their fries."

  • "Having grown up in this berg, when I came home and found this gem I could not believe it. Certainly as good as most places on the Plaza or Westport but w/o the parking problems and at more moderate prices. Great menu w/lots of variety and great staff. I highly recommend it."

  • "Got together with friends in KC here, good food (large servings), server was attentive, nice atmosphere. Would definitely return."

  • "This is a great date night spot if you're looking for something upscale but not to break the bank. They have a good selection of delectable foods and my husband and I both had a great time!"

  • "Appears most patrons come here for the bar scene and then many stay for dinner. Those who don't miss out. Food is well designed, well prepared and delivered promptly to the table. As one who is not a fan of cole slaw, I was surprised at how good their Kale version is. The fish tacos and the battered shrimp were excellent, as were the shoestring fries. Good food, good service, but try to find a quiet corner as the bar scene noise spills over into the dining area."

  • "We had heard good things about the Summit Grill and decided to give it a try. The food and service were everything we had heard and more. Great place in Lee's Summit!"

  • "The prime rib was amazing our server was very attentive even on a Friday night. Just moved to the area and found my favorite date place to take my wife"
    Dined on 7/11/2014
  • "It was our dinner groups first time, we liked the cozy atmosphere...the food was very good...the service was a bit off, we think due to not enough servers. The noise level was a bit higher than we would like but not bad enough to keep us away. Appeared the bar area was large and doing well. We will return to this restaurant. The prices are moderate, not to high. All in all, a good experience."

  • "This was my 5th time at this restaurant, all dinner reservations. However, the past 2 times, we waited at least 15 min. for a server to come to table. always seated right away at reception desk, then it seems like server isn't notified of table filled or servers don't know which table is theirs."

  • "We had a very enjoyable meal. Atmosphere was quiet as this was our anniversary and we were enjoying our time together."

  • "Took my Dad and his wife here for 8 pm dinner. They sat us at a table next to the bar and the band started to play. Noise level was so loud we weren't able to talk without yelling to each other. Thinking the band at the bar should start around 9:30 or 10 pm when most of the dinner crowd is gone or play quieter music if you start the music at 8 pm. The server did ask the band to stop playing, because there wasn't anyone even in the bar area at the time. Really like the restaurant and food, just would like to be able to visit while having dinner."

  • "Food was very good, but took a long time to prepare which was a surprise since it was during lunch. We had ordered the pot roast nachos, so that helped tide us over. It appeared they were short servers, too. People around us seemed to be waiting for their orders, too. Very loud as previous comments stated, especially because we were sat next to a large group. There were empty seat and the bar was empty. After they left, we asked if the overhead music could be turned down, but it was still hard to have a conversation between the 6 of us. I would hesitate going with a group of friends because of the noise, unless we sat on the patio. Loved the food, but based on experience of others, owners need to look at how to resolve the noise. "

  • "After enjoying excellent happy hour specials on the patio, we opted to stay for dinner in the dining room. Our server, Suzie, was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and flavorful. Our group had: fish & chips, tilapia, burger with poutine fries, and the seafood mac'n'cheese. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. Many comments on "best I've had" and "most flavorful dish" so I think our dinner was a success!"

  • "Food was awesome! Had the prime rib special and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The deserts are wonderful too."

  • "We chose The Summit Grill because we always seem to go to the same places. Living in the Plaza/Brookside area, we seem to be drawn to restaurants near there. So, we were looking for someplace off the beaten path. We are glad we did. The food was as good as anything you'd find on the Plaza or downtown. My steak was like butter and my martinis excellent. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. Although it was prom night, it did not seem to affect our service at all."

  • "Ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was delicious! Wedge salad very tasty as well. Fish and chips were just average. Would definitely go back but not on a Friday or Saturday night - the noise was deafening and almost impossible to have a conversation across the table with fellow diners. "

  • "Great food and great service!! My only complaint was that it quite dark in the restaurant, which made it hard to read the menu. "

  • "We've been here several times. Superb steak. Excellent salads. The only criticism I would give is that their French Onion soup is so-so, and their chili tastes burned and too salty. Great service. Bar area is very loud. Restaurant area is very comfortable. Definitely use Open Table here!"

  • "Wonderful ambience. The formal dining area was very classy and the booth gives a slightly more intimate and romantic setting. Staff was extrememly friendly and attentive. FOOD WAS AMAZING! Outstandling flavors and layers. Definitley recommend the Pork Chops & there French Onion soup. Cocktails were very impressive as well. I wanted to try all of their appetizers. The entree's were incredible but it would also be a great place for just drinks and small plates. We were there between 5-7 and the crowd was definitely older - at least on the dining side. The bar area which seemed to have the younger crowd appeared to be casual yet refined. Would like to go back to see what their late night ambience is like."

  • "We have eaten at the Summit twice. The first time it was the Friday before Mother's Day and it was busy. Daniel our server was pleasant and courteous. The food was delicious. Andy Lock, one of the owners came by and greeted and asked how we were enjoying ourselves. The second visit was April 5th after a production at the Music Hall. We have early reservations a 5:30pm. Daniel again was our server. He was his pleasant . The prime rib, fried chicken and chicken pasta was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to others."
