A word from The Parson's Table
Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection. Continued

  • "Charming restaurant off the beaten path in Little River. Complimentary cheese & crackers to start, a fresh salad with seconds if you want them, warm rolls and cornbread. We ordered the filet and prime rib accompanied by roasted fingerling potatoes (from a choice of 4 starches) and fresh corn and bacon. The meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly and melt-in-your-mouth tender. No room for dessert, but the banana-pineapple-praline sounded heavenly. Can't wait to go back to try the seafood. We're originally from RI where there's a wealth of excellent restaurants. The Parson's Table rivals the best of them for food and value."

  • "Love the Parson's Table. However, we wanted to linger over our appetizers and drinks and our waitress rushed us to order telling us she can manage her time in serving us and if we lingered our order could get placed behind other much larger orders. We were with friends from out of town and our idea was to have a leisurely time visiting and eating. Not very attentive."

  • "We found The Parson's Table to be a delight. We are a Pastor and his wife and we thought it was a great use of the old church space. The food was terrific. Our server was excellent. We would highly recommend this place if you get the chance to be in Little River, NC."

  • "Best restaurant we went to in the myrtle beach area. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Regional offerings were noteworthy in their variety and presentation. Experienced appetizers, main courses and delicious desserts plus a bottle of wine for much less than expected. Because of beach traffic from surfside nc took about 1 hour 15 to get there but so great !"

  • "The Parson's Table is a rare gem among a sea of restaurants in the MB area. The food is exquisite and the setting is unique. We went with friends and were so pleased the first night with the meal and service, that we returned again the next night and were equally impressed. What's more, the prices are just phenomenal considering the quality of the dining experience. Just superb."

  • "It has been over 7 years since we were last year; we made a point of returning when we knew we would be in the area. Once again, the service was excellent - waitress was very friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu items. The food was excellent - as we expected! We have been here many times over the past almost 20 years. The Parson's Table just keeps drawing us back. Every visit has turned into a special occasion! I was excited to find the Parson's Table on the OpenTable app, and I was even more excited being able to request the date and time for our special 'date night' event. it was a luxury being able to make such a request three weeks in advance!"

  • "We enjoyed our dinner at the Parson's table and would recommend it as our new favorite while in Myrtle Beach. Service was awesome food was great while prices were just right. Shecrab soup was really good. Salad was light and flavorful. I also had the pork chop special which was the perfect size and tasted great. Our server was very attentive to the entire group and the kids. He made sure to check with us on kid refills and made sure our wine glasses were not empty. The old church adds character to the place and the table we sat at was semi private. Everyone enjoyed the night and we will be going back very soon."

  • "Enjoyed dining experience from atmosphere, service, to food. Service was prompt, orderly and friendly. Entrees were presented accurately as reflected on the menu. Portions were so plentiful that only two of our party of four were able to order desserts, which were shared by all. The offer of $10 off on any bottle of wine was especially welcomed."
