The Parson's TableSatisfyingMy wife & I enjoy the decor & relaxing atmosphere of the Parsons Table. We have been there several times & have never been dissapointed by the food we have chosen. Our waitress was friendly & we found her suggestions helpful in choosing our entrees.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner Tuesday 6/11/13Great service in a very unusual setting. Good choices on the menu, we ordered two of the specials, Grouper (local caught) and the pork chops. Food was well presented, hot and delicious. Plenty of house salad, so you may not need an appetizer. The mussels in Pernod were wonderful. A good wine selection at very reasonable prices. Would defiantly recommend and will use again.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversaryThe server was very knowable of the menu and had some great suggestions. I really enjoy lamb chops and the ones I had there were some of the best I have ever had. They were very tender, moist and flavorful. It was our third visit to the Parson's Table and we plan to come back anytime we visit Myrtle Beach.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMImprove service on a SaturdayEverything was very good. Service friendly but on this Saturday evening very very very slow. Got drinks only 30 minutes after sitting down, could order meal not before 1 hour after sitting down at table.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSurprising FindWe were thrilled to find casual, but fine dining in Little River Village. We highly recommend this place!6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a gem on the Grand Strand. What a gem on the Grand Strand. The food scene in Grand Strand is not typically about this. But if you are seeking a bistro like menu and atmosphere that will tie into this costal region I would say you must try it.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGood friends dinnerWe had friends iSight from Pennsylvania and they thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Everything was fantastic!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMOur meal was amazing! We enjoyOur meal was amazing! We enjoy the Parson's Table every visit!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGood FoodThe food and service was very good. The wait staff was very attentive and informative. The only negative was the noise level in the room where we were seated. It was an adjacent area to the main dining and conversations were loud. But that could have been the fact that the two tables beside us contained "blow hard" men trying to show off, I guess. Can't control who walks in the door. ..5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat food, great service!Everything from the food, wine and dessert selection was wonderful. Our server was fantastic and most importantly it was affordable and not over priced. 5 stars!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial EveningThe service was outstanding with outstanding food selection and quality. We thought we weren't going to find a decent restaurant in the North Myrtle Beach area, but Parson's Table in Little River exceeded all of our expectations. Our entrees of tuna and the petit filet were perfectly prepared. The entrees are accompanied with their own cheese spread, mixed green salad, corn bread, fresh vegetable and choice of potatoes. We were quite full after dinner but just had to split a dessert which they make onsite. We were not disappointed. This is one of those meals I will dream about long after leaving North Myrtle Beach.5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome! This is my second visit and it was as fabulous as it was when i went for my anniversary in September. Great service and wonderful atmosphere.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Try of the Parson's TableThis is an exceptional restaurant in the North Myrtle Beach (NMB) area (Little River). We had just moved to North Carolina and had seen this restaurant on a couple of trips to NMB. We read the reviews which for the most part were excellent and it turned out they were well deserved. The restaurant itself is unique. The service was first class from the hostess to the waiter. The prices for this level of dining and service were very reasonable. We had a combination of beef, seafood and poultry meals and all were excellent. We originally thought this would be a special occasion restaurant for us but we will now come here after all our trips down to NMB.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMStain glassA wonderful meal... Deb T3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWent for our wedding anniversaryWent for our wedding anniversary celebration. The setting was so romantic in our own private corner that felt very quaint. Service could not be any better. Great portions of food too! We found a new place to have dinner and will definitely be back.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMfood excellent - been twicefood excellent - been twice before - last time as a walk in in 2007. you were busy when my group was there - it was a little hectic. comments were similar - but the food and wine took precedent3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMParson's Table has been aParson's Table has been a favorite of ours for a long time. The prices are reasonable and they have plenty to choose from. The portions are large. I had ordered the broiled seafood platter and it was big enough for two people to share. Our one disappointment this time was the brie appetizer. We have ordered before and have always loved it except this time the brie was hard in the middle.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMSeveral steps above the "Touristy"Well prepared food in a historical setting. The broiled seafood platter and the local flounder were both very good and very generous. Service was also very good. Nice bar area with a friendly and inviting bartender. Reasonable wine and drink prices.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMa fantastic meal, Maggie isa fantastic meal, Maggie is a super waitress, she was very attentive to our needs and questions on the menu.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFine dining at its best...Great all around fine dining spot. Our goto spot when average is not good enough. Will be back again next year.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMa most enjoyable evening out!We were party of 6 and had a great meal with great service!
All of us had different entrees - all of which were good but one of us found the prime rib oversalted. The house salad is always good. The sea food platter was great as were the rack of lamb, the HUGE pork chop and the flounder.
The pace of the meal was also good - we had time to enjoy each course and never felt rushed.
All of us had dessert and were very pleased - the cheese cake was huge but the creme brulee did not have the traditional crispy crust so was a bit of a disappointment!
Wine - we ordered a white and a red - were good!
A great celebration of our 40th anniversary was most enjoyable!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our second visitThis was our second visit to The Parson's Table with our first being in Oct. 2012. We had a friend suggest it last year and we are so glad he did. We have enjoyed the food each time we've been. The house salad is great. Food is cooked to perfection. Wine list has all our favorites. This will be one of our regular restaurant stops when we visit N. Myrtle Beach.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply AMAZING!My husband and I came here based on the good reviews and a well-known chef. We love to travel and eat at as many top spots as possible. The Parson's Table is so delicious!! The prime rib is one of the best we've ever had! I had the special, which is a Cobia fillet over seafood risotto. It was amazing!! From the appetizers to the dessert, it was excellent! I can't wait to go back!!3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMMemorable Vacation MealThis was a meal to remember! The restaurant is a quiet little gem. From the outside you would never guess what awaits inside. The stained glass windows were fabulous. The tables and chairs were a rustic colonial design. But, the food and the service were incredible! My steak was done perfectly. The pepper crust was just enough--not at all overbearing--but flavorful. The salads are prepared at the table with local vegetables. My husband had a shrimp and scallop dish that was creamy with large fresly caught sea scallops and jumbo sweet shrimp. This was the meal we will remember from our trip to Myrtle Beach.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was delicious andThe food was delicious and cocktails were excellent. Meals were moderately priced and included salad and two sides. Great value!3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
