The Grill at Grande Vista is located in Marriott Golf Academy Clubhouse at the Marriott Grande Vista Resort on S. International Drive minutes from Sea World. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is served daily overlooking our 9 hole golf course and practice facilities.

  • "We always enjoy lunch and dinner (especially the Wed. prime rib) at the Grill whenever we are in Orlando. If it were closer we would be there more often, but it's a long drive from Ohio. The service is prompt and personal andwe are always made to feel welcome. The bar tenders Gus and Doug were great along with a Carmen who is an excellent waitress. We look forward to retuning and see the "new" decor."

While the staff were friendly and my NY strip steak was nicely prepared, medium rare as ordered, the experience was much closer to a glorified TGIF than to a country club dining room.   • "We felt the presentation of the meal was horrible. Everything was pushed to one side, the mashed potatoes were literally put on the plate with an ice cream scoop- pretty tacky!! The vegetables were cold and frozen -no taste at all. One of our appetizers had to be returned(spedini) because it was ice cold! Desert was ice cold as well - a frozen dessert thrown on a plate. Wouldn't go back or recommend to anyone. Really hard to say that because we are owners at the Marriott Grande Vista where the restaurant is."

Bartender chose to wash glasses rather than wait on us? we waited quite a few minutes for him to wait on us and even at that he didn't make us feel warm and fuzzy. Our dinner waiter was angry at the hostess for giving him too many tables so initially he wasn't too friendly either. What should have been a lovely evening due to the tropical golf course surroundings, started out with our feeling like we were not very welcome. Food quality was very good which certainly helped to save the evening. Would definitely go back in hopes of having a less hectic experience."

  • "I had a few issues with the Waite Staff. After the initial visit by the server who brought bread and water, no one came back to fill the water glasses. The waitress knew little or nothing about wine or how to serve it. After ordering a second bottle of wine, albeit the same as as the first, the waitress just opened and poured, Last, the wine list was overall, disappointing. Nick's is a OK place to visit after a day of golf but it is a not a 4 or 5 star restaurant."

WE weren't ever told the specials( there were two) and had to ask for water all the time. It's convenient to our condo, but that's the only reason we went there. Of course we had a reservation, but a party of 10 came in ahead of us( NO reservations) and the host left the podium and went around setting up tables and chairs while we waited for 10 minutes to check in."
