Diner Reviews
  • "We're from Jacksonville, FL and we've been wanting to go here for years and we finally found the time to drive here. It was better then I expected. I"ve been to a couple other Brazillian steakhouses but this is by far at the very top. The food was DELICIOUS, service was great and EVERYONE was very attentive to our needs. We will be back for sure! Thanks for making our anniversary memorable."

  • "Have been here a few times and the food and service have always been great. Meats they serve have always been seasoned well, piping hot and very flavorful in the best way! This experience costs about $50 a head (for adults), excluding wine & alcohol, so be prepped for that. All servers are very attentive."

  • "The meats were great and cooked to order. Our waitress was always making sure we got the types of meat we asked for. The Buffett was of great quality and included many top class items. Not cheap but definitely worth the money"

  • "Great food and lots of it. Not a good place for vegitarians or people who like their beef well done. If you like your beef medium rare and love a great variety, this is the place for you. The service is fantastic and we enjoyed our time there."

  • "Been going here for years; about four times a year mostly when entertaining guests because the experience is unique. While it's still good, there are things that used to be better. They have squeezed in too many tables making it uncomfortable for many diners and it's difficult for the Gauchos to serve each table. Also, the quality of the meat doesn't seem as good. I hope they will focus on a better experience for their diners over shoving in as many people as they can fit."

  • "This is a great place for those who love MEAT! Not only great meat but perfectly seasoned and cooked and always hot of the grill! I always enjoy bringing someone here for the first time and the enjoyment they get from the food and the service. Although somewhat pricey to those unaware, you definitely get what you pay for. Enjoy!"

  • "I have been to several other Brazilian steakhouses; this one is extremely similar to Fogo de Chao. The salad bar was very good and of course you could make a meal out of it. There was a good variety of meats. After a while, the waiter asked if there were any meats that we wanted to try, but had not been offered yet and soon after they appeared. In addition to the cheese rolls and sides brought to the table, there was a buffet of additional sides such as soups and potatoes. $3 for a 6 ounce aluminum bottle of diet coke was a bit outrageous."

  • "We enjoyed the service, food and atmosphere; one of the best salad bars we have ever seen. Our server, Stephanie when out of her way to accommodate our every request. Our first time there proved to be beyond our expectations. Highly recommend!! A++++++"

  • "The experience was everything we expected and more if there was one thing to complain about it was that the meat was quite salty but aside from that all we could say is the salad area was phenomenal everything was fresh and very plentiful and we flipped our disk over and on came a barrage of meat after our meal we had our complementary dessert for our 25th wedding anniversary which was a wonderful chocolate and caramel cheesecake then we had to roll ourselves out to the car"

  • "The salad bar is fantastic!! So many choices! One never leaves hungry!"

  • "The food was great. It was a little loud though. The only real complaint I have is that it was ten dollars more than the same exact resturaunt we ate at in Salt Lake City. I know it's Orlando, but 10 dollars a person more?! The food was fantastic though."

  • "We went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday with 8 people. We has a fantastic time. The food was Wonderful and plenty of it. The meat did not stop coming around and the buffet was wonderful. Would return For sure next time in Orlando!"

  • "The food was awesome! They bring you all different types of meats."

  • "The only problem with the experience was the noise level. Last time I was at this same establishment, it was more relaxed and more of a fine dining experience. Whichi meant it was quiet and calm and relaxing. Not something they can control, it's in a touristy area, and working in a theme park I know how tourists tend to act. So, overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and will return."

  • "The place was packed but we had a reservation and they seated us in 10 minutes. The server, James, was incredible. The salad bar was huge and everything we tried was delectable. Meat servers keep walking around and the supply is inexhaustible. The final touch was the dessert. I can still taste the papaya cream with acai sauce in my head. All in all a wonderful experience."

  • "A co-worker recommended your restaurant to me while we were in the Orlando area celebrating my birthday with my husband. She had visited the Las Vegas location and raved how absolutely delicious it was. When we entered the restaurants we loved the interior design and felt that it had a very warm ambience. The buffet salad bar area was designed beautifully and the food assortment were definitely chosen wisely. The food concept was very unique. Our main meat selections were also done perfectly and equally delicious. I am very happy I chose to have my birthday celebration at the Texas de Brazil, we will be returning again."

  • "We saw the reviews and heard the raves about TDB, so we went there for my wife's birthday. She really wanted a great salad bar, which most Brazilian grills have. We were both disappointed. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great, especially for $50 per plate. If you want a nice green salad, the selection was very poor. The meats were often dry and overcooked, which is easy to do with this style of cooking. Again, a couple of them were good, but none were great. The atmosphere was very noisy and there was not intimacy at all. Everything (at least that we saw) was open tables in a large room. Service was attentive and very pleasant. We're not mad at them, but I just don't get the rave for anything except quantity - we won't go back."

  • "If you have been in a real Brazilian steak house you will know that this place is a tourist trap. The service was bad, I order medium and they have me medium rare, the meat was almost alive. I will suggest as real churrascaria in Orlando fogo do chao, it is not expensive but the quality, the service and everything is way better than here."

  • "Went here with my wife and a couple friends and the food was outstanding! They're known for their meats, but everything else was just as good! Quick, courteous service. Overall great experience!"

  • "At first arrival, it looked good. Then we were showed our table, given our directions, drink orders taken and we were on our own. Very crowded floor. Considering a buffet line is a major part of the plan you think they would make it so yo did not have to bounce off other diners to get to it. The buffet food was nice. The meat was tasty, but the choices were disappointing. Flank steak and sirloin while flavorful, and an rare(not often) piece of filet, whisked by and had to be bodily grabbed to stop them and get a piece. The mashed potatoes were runny. Desserts were presented ( get a better dessert model maker. They looked like my daughters toys) For the price, Over $75.00 per person I was disappointed."

  • "The food was delicious, from the beautiful salad bar and side dishes over there to the meat that is brought to the table side - succulent, rich and flavorful. This was my son's request for his 18th birthday. He was treated to a decadent chocolate dessert as well. All of us enjoyed the dinner."

The food was excellent as always and the service perfect. My sister was impressed and will come back when her daughters and sons visit the area."

  • "Food was very good, and our service was excellent. Was in an odd location for a restraint of this type. It is what you would expect for a quality Brazilian steak house. Great grilled beef."

  • "Just mediocre. Some things were amazing. Some very salty. Lobster bisque was pretty good but would have liked a chuck of something in it. Waiters were very busy. Took like 20 minutes to get a look at the desserts. But the Brazilian cheesecake was to die for! Everything was just ok."

  • "This was a fantastic dinner, the only thing was that the guys with the meat skewers would flock like vultures to your table and ask everyone if they wanted the different meats, even if only one person switched their token to green."

  • "First time at this restaurant--it did not disappoint. I was mad at myself for getting full. Definitely try this place if you have the chance!"

  • "20 minute wait with reservation. Children's menu was way too high , over $20 and our daughter who ate two bites!! Ridiculous! Gauchos skipped over table and did not prepare food as requested. Waiter provided poor service and was very slow. They asked how we wanted the meat prepared and never served it that way. They said they would fix it and bring it back well done and never came back to the table which was disappointing because we only had so long to eat. Nice ambience but very pricey! Kind of gimmicky as you don't make out with much of a plate for the price. Nice to try it once but wouldn't return. Maybe if prices dropped her service improved."

The meats are cooked Brazilian style (churrascaria).first time visit mistake is taking one of everything...OR it could be a good thing if you want to sample everything. We have been to Texas DeBrazil in Ft. Worth and Orlando. They were both great. Sign up foe their e-mails and you will get buy-one-get-one-free offers on your birthday and other occasions."

  • "We have been dining at Texas de Brazil for years - usually at this Orlando location. Food quality has remained consistent through the years. The cold buffet items are exquisite, the meats are delicious and so are the desserts. One drawback is The traffic jams at this location (due to its proximity to the outlet shopping ) has grown steadily worse. As a result, my family has decided that we need to find another such restaurant that is an easier drive."

  • "The salad bar was fantastic - lots of different ethnic foods. I could have had that alone, & that is an option. Lots of different cuts of meat to try. They give you a card for the meat - turn it to green if you want to be served or offered meat & turn to red if you want to take a break. $47 per person, so pretty expensive. I had signed up for their mailing list so I got a certificate for a free dinner. Great deal at that price."

  • "We love Texas de Brazil but, honestly, have to wait for a special occasion "coupon". The price is not outrageous and one does get a great deal of food for the money. However, it is over an hour drive for us so we tend to save the place for a special evening."
