  • "My sister had been to a location in Florida and insisted we visit the Houston location since she was visiting and we just moved here. We all had been to Taste of Texas and loved it. This was beyond! The decor is amazing but eventually the floral's did aggravate our allergies, but the salad bar was AMAZING! The meat was delicious and glad to hear that we can send some meat back to up the temperature for particular eaters. What was most impressive was the staff. Each and every one of them. So courteous and professional.. ALL of the staff. I think the staff seriously heightened the experience with all the personal attention. P.S. The dessert martini's are truly awesome."

The lobster bisque was very flavorful. Our waiter, Sammy, helped guide us through the experience, as we were new to this type of dining. He was outstanding."

  • "Very poor disappointing and incredibly expensive, bad welcome, relatively dirty, check reday and given largely before we had finished, still eating, maitre d hotel pathetic, real bad surprise after some good dinners there, quality is deteriorating very quickly. i will not go there anymore"

The first two times were awesome; great food, great service, etc. This time there were several things that disappointed us: a meat that was cut away from a large piece (beef) was so salty I ate one bite, The tabouli on the salad bar was also very salty, some of the food was spicy and was not labeled as such on the salad bar, and the signature drink with lime and rum, although very tasty, only contained three swallows. It is an 8 ounce glass filled with ice with supposedly one shot of liquor and a squirt of lime. It is very expensive for not enough liquid. And it was so loud I couldn't even talk to my husband sitting next to me without yelling. We probably won't be back."

  • "Went there for dinner after a show this past Saturday. I had a reservation for 6 but got there early and the staff were very accommodating. We were served by Chris and he did an excellent job, he was very friendly and attentive to anything we needed. He took time to explain to us how everything worked even though we've been to many churrascarias around town. A manager also stopped by our table to make sure everything was going well too. The food was very good, every piece we got was cooked wonderfully and tasted great. My girlfriend and I were very happy with our experience there."

  • "I love this place; everything was awesome EXCEPT the fact that the meats are extremely salty; there were a couple of meats that I couldn't eat and that ruined the fun of it! The chicken was way too salty and the second cut of the "specialty" churrasco was also very salty. The first cut was wonderful, the taste was just awesome that's why I asked for more but it was too salty. It is overprised, as some people don't eat much. I had a small salad and a few cuts of meat. The service was awesome too, being this my first time, the gentleman that assisted us was very patient and helpful."

  • "My friend and I went a little earlier than usual dinner time to avoid the big crowd. Service was outstanding, and the food was great. I always load up on the house special (it's my favorite). The only complaints I have are that the birthday club is only a $25 savings instead of your whole dinner like in the past, and the salad bar could've had a few more options. Aside of that, everything was great 😊"

  • "We went to Texas de Brazil since my Fiance was craving some steak and we had our eyes set on a night in the city center area. We have been to Fogo de chao before and I must say that Texas de brazil did feel a lot better than Fogo in terms of service, ambiance and food. The lobster bisque was heavenly and so was the couscous salad. The meats were of very good quality and service was the key element that sold us on this place. The caipirinhas were better in Fogo though. Would be better if Texas de Brazil could do something about the acoustics because it was clear that though people were not talking loud the interior was just doing a poor job of sound proofing...it felt like it actually reflected the noise and made the whole place much louder."

  • "This was our second time dinning at Texas de Brazil, and it was as good or better than the first time. We were celebrating our son's 19th birthday and he received a lot of attention. At the end of our meal, they let my son choose a dessert for him (on the house). The presentation on the plate of the piece of cake he chose was beautiful and delicious! We will be back soon. "

  • "Food was really good, but encountered many issues that put a damper on Mother's Day. Inexplicably, it took them 20 minutes to prepare our table. We were seated at 2:20 for our 2:00 reservation. The floor of the restaurant was rather slippery, to which the employees admitted to being aware. I'm not sure why no one affiliated with the restaurant see this as a liability. The background music was way too loud, and had to ask more than once to have it turned down. Our whole table had to shout to be heard. The dining area was still very loud even after the music volume was adjusted. Frustrating experience for what was supposed to be a special occasion. That $350 could have been put to much better use. "

  • "We came here for Mother's Day lunch and were shown immediately to our table. The waitress was very friendly and gave us a brief introduction to the restaurant, style of food, and the way it's served. The salad bar featured many vegetables, cheeses, and meats, although there wasn't any fruit. The lobster bisque was quite tasty. All the different meats that I tried were wonderfully seasoned, tender, and absolutely delicious. Even my 6yo son loved it, and he's pretty picky. They do not have a kid's menu, so I wouldn't say they're kid-friendly, but they're not kid unfriendly either. I probably would not bring him here for dinner, though. The wait staff was very attentive throughout the meal. Overall, I think they're better than Fogo de Chao."

It has potential but the need to address a couple of things to be successful in an area where there are so many excellent places to eat. The noise level is so high you can't hear the waiter or even have a conversation. Also the meat is extremely salty. The tell you up front they can bring you meat with less salt, but it just takes away from the fun of the experience. "

  • "My boyfriend and I went here for the first time and everything was wonderful! They have an amazing salad bar and we enjoyed various cuts of meat without the crowds! Here's a tip: if you want to go out with someone special and actually enjoy each other's company, go during the restaurant's slower hours. I guarantee you will enjoy yourselves. Don't forget to save room for dessert, which includes cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, Flan and Bananas Foster pie!"

  • "We celebrated my husband's birthday. We came early and had a drink at the bar. When we got to the front the host told us it seems somebody else had taken our table under our name, I mean what? We got a table but that was just weird to us as we told them when we got there, that we were still waiting on friends. But overall we had a great time, the salad bar was outstanding and the men enjoyed all the meat varieties/cuts. Waited long for our drinks, but the restaurant was very busy. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful, the manager came by once or twice I think to check on us. My husband left his gift there and when he went back to get it, luckily it was still there, so thanks for that, much appreciated!"

  • "The food and service is great at Texas De Brazil and the portions are bigger than their competitor, Fogo de Chao. The only negative I have is that they use to have the Orange Mint that you grab after dinner and they were very Chewy. Now the Orange Mints are hard candy and I want the Chewy Orange Mints back. They were delicious. I don't like your hard candy after dinner mints. Will you have the chewy type after dinner mints still available for your restaurants to distribute?"

  • "To Staff, The waiter we had was very good and attentive. Servers bringing the meat around were a little pushy and could not tell you about each type of meet. How it was cooked , season or etc and figure this would be a good feature they should know. Bar tenders were excellet in the bar area and knew their drinks a long with pleasant to speak with. Vallet service was not desirable at all because they were very rude."

  • "This was a celebration of my birthday. We've been here about 4 times now, once in December for their lunch offering. Each time was fantastic. The waitstaff were spot on and friendly as always, the meat servers were friendly and attentive as well. The meats were flavorful and tender, moist ... melt in the mouth. The salad bar has a great variety and fresh selections - love the grape and Gorgonzola salad!! YUM!! The Lobster Bisque is definitely a favorite. The manager came by a couple of times to check on us and chatted, then to my surprise he himself came to the table with my desert and presented it with a lit candle. It was wonderful! I have to say that this is definitely my favorite restaurant. We've never had a bad experience."

  • "Went here to celebrate a birthday and the food and service was fantastic. The salad bar was fresh and plentiful, the meats were delicious, and we had the creme brulee for dessert, which was very good as well. My water glass was never below half filled and after a few rounds, the servers begin remembering how you like your meat prepared and providing those cuts. Very friendly staff and wonderful food. I definitely recommend!!"
