Diner Reviews
  • "The food is fantastic prepared exactly the way each person at the table prefers their different cuts of meat and of course the never ending parade of hot succulent fair is spectacular!"

  • "Texas de Brazil was again great. Small groups (4-20) of us eat at the restaurant every few months and always enjoy the plentiful steak, chicken and lamb. The menu is not for vegetarians or those who like small meals, but for anyone who enjoys meat it is a treat."

  • "Would recommend to business partners, and family. Outstanding waitress and hostess. Only problem....non alcoholic beverages overpriced ie 8 oz coke (really???.) Soup and Salad bar amazing. Servers ready to deliver your order prompt, and without fault."

  • "We have come back many times to Tesxas de Brazil for our group which includes very hungry minor league baseball players. They LOVE the place."

  • "Wonderful as always! TRY not to fill up at the fantastic "salad bar" , which includes shrimp, huge chunks of bacon, various cheeses, a variety of salads. There are hot items as well; beans and rice, scalloped potato with cheese (to die for!), lobster bisque. Then they bring more cuts of meat than you can begin to try! This included , chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken Parmesan, filet Mignon wrapped in bacon, garlic sirloin, pork tenderloin, pork ribs, beef ribs, piquena, flank steak, lamb chops, leg of lamb, Brazilian sausage, it seemed endless! Lovely atmosphere, dark woods, red walls, very romantic. Great service, barely finish one meat and they are bringing another. Wonderful experience as usual."

  • "I would highly recommend to family and friends. And I do so often."

  • "The meats were extremely salty. Almost impossible to eat. Did not like it, I was only able eat one piece of meat."

  • "Got to love the never ending rounds of roasted meats. An excellent opportunity to take a group. Everything seemed to be a bit over salted but that may be to other people's taste."

  • "We went there to celebrate our daughter's upcoming wedding. We requested a table for 6 off to the side and they graciously accommodated us. The meat is delicious-great variety to please all palettes. Several of us drank the non-alcoholic Brazilian soft drink, Guaraná-- has a fruity taste and was fun for something different. The salad bar is always fresh with out if the ordinary items. We tried the thinly sliced fresh pineapple- incredible topping for a gourmet salad!"

  • "Great and friendly place, tender and delicious meat, amazing salad bar. It's one of my favorite restaurants."

  • "This place no doubt is spectacular! Our waitress, Diana, was VERY attentitive. Probably the best waitress I've ever had. My only "dislike" about this place is that some people are there in shorts and t-shirts while others are in dresses and heels for dinner. It's in a mall, so I guess I should over look that, but then again maybe I'm just old fashion? The meal over all was incredible! Will certainly come again!"

  • "Excellent, Divine and Awesome. Never disappointed in quality and service. Lamb chops are my favorite and we get them exactly how we want them. Our favorite place."

  • "The wine list is impressive, the ambience is lovely, the meats are beautifully seasoned and cooked to perfection - and to your liking! The lobster bisque is NOT to be missed. Warning- don't fill up too much on the salad bar items, although there are several gems you shouldn't miss - did I mention the lobster bisque? In addition to the fabulous bisque, the smoked salmon and the grilled provolone are also winners!"

  • "This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was very good with many choices. Dinner for 2 was over $100 just for dinner without drinks or desert. The salad bar was interesting but somewhat limited. The waiters came around with many meat choices. Best if you enjoy medium rare meats."

  • "We've been coming to Texas de Brazil for years and have always enjoyed it. The food was amazing; the salad bar has a great selection and the "house special" is our favorite! Our server was attentive but not intrusive. And the manager stopped by a few times to chat with us which was nice. We'll be back!"

  • "The cow was delicious, the chicken wrapped in bacon was great. The lobster bisque is a favorite. This is my 8th time here in the last 15 months."

  • "Texas de Brazil is a very warm and bustling restaurant the grilled meat and the selection of different types is very good, the salad bar is surprisingly well appointed with smoked salmon, shrimp, premium cuts of meats, and a great selection of cheeses and breads. The decor is a little dark, but romantic. Not necessarily a kid friendly but it could still work. Staff is very responsive and the men carrying the large skewers of meat came at a regular pace."

  • "The salad bar had a wide variety of items, not just salad but more antipasti like items. The meat was cooked properly and well seasoned. It's a little too noisy, even difficult to understand the waitstaff at times and hard to keep a conversation going."

  • "Great food but be prepared for a pricey bill. Very attentive staff."

  • "What a great unexpected dining experience. A little slow to start because we arrived right at 5 when they opened for dinner. However, the waiter was excellent in explaining the resturaunts unique style. The dinner started with An incredible salad bar. The selection went from various cheese highlighted by a baked provolone, various salad combinations cucumbers, potato salad, sushimi, artichokes etc. Each item would have been excellent by itself. Just eating from the bar is the Light Dinner. Then the gauchos brought the meat. Very impressive, various steak cuts, chicken wrapped with bacon, lamb, an excellent sausage all served up on a skewer in manageable portions, continuously. The flank cuts were excellent and the bacon wrapped fillet super"

  • "I selected the restaurant for a Father's Day Brunch. My husband thoroughly loved it. The food (taste and presentation) was wonderful. Service was pleasant. My husband & I plan to return. However, I'll have to think hard about bringing my children. My kids (13 & 10) ended up not being very hungry; a waste of ~ $70. Overall, I'm not sure if the food is worth the cost."

  • "Texas de Brazil is always a fun place for dinner. Of course you have to like meat and lots of it to make the experience worthwhile, but they bring around a sufficient variety of quality meats to please everyone. On this visit several of the meats were a little to salty, so the food dropped a star to good instead of very good. Service was very good, though, servers always available with different choices and the staff ensuring that your particular choice is brought around promptly. Decent wine list with decent selections at every price point is a bonus."

  • "I thought it was overpriced. We went for lunch. The meat was good, but anything marinated was a bit on the salty side. The bacon wrapped chicken was almost too salty to eat. The salad bar was good, but could have had more variety or been of better quality. Everything was good and I enjoyed it, but at $25 for lunch I think it could have been better."

  • "As always, the food was fantastic. The wide variety of the salad and vegetable bar was amazing. The meats were for the most part delicious. I would never have thought to pair Parmesean cheese and pork. The chicken wrapped in bacon was a little on the tough side and was hoping it would have been more tender with the bacon. The beef tenderloin and the flank steak are by far the best I have had anywhere. This is a restaurant you should have on your list of places to go when celebrating any special occasion. The servers were very attentive in keeping our plates full with all of the choices available. The wait staff was decent, but took quite a while to come pick up the check after the meal. Overall the experience was an A+"

  • "Some of the meats were very salty and not warm. The drinks including ice tea and soda were way over priced. Also the waitress did not explain that the desserts were not included. The average price was $8. They even charged me for the dessert they brought out with a candle for my sons birthday. Over all for 4 people I spent an additional $50.00 on simple drinks and 3 desserts. Be warned on the additional expenses on top of the high price meal per person."

  • "Finally a night without the kids and I couldn't wait to eat here. When I made the reservations I noticed that I'm gluten free. The server told me that the manager would come out and walk me around the salad bar and tell me what wasn't safe to eat. Most of the things were obvious (bread, croutons) but other things weren't like the sushi. All of their meats ARE gluten free so that made the meal even more enjoyable. I would definitely go back for another night out without the kids."

  • "Was there Sunday night for a birthday party. The service was fantastic (though our server may have bordered on "over bubbly"). She was great with our 3 yr. daughter (who insisted on wearing a super hero costume). My only "needs improvement" is for options for small children. I was thrilled when I found out that they only charge $5 for kids ages 3 to 5 but then I found out why - most kids in that age aren't so into gourmet cheese, spicy lobster bisque (though I could eat my body weight in it), big chunks of steak, and salad. I was able to get her to eat 2 sliced tomatoes and some of that delicious cheesy bread but there weren't many fruit options (sliced pineapple w/ basil drizzle). When asked, they didn't have any other solutions. "

  • "Great salad bar comparing to the other Brazilian steakhouses that I've eaten at in two different other cities. Most other places only have your regular salad and a small choice of cheese and salamis. Texas De Brazil was awesome in offering many great appetizers in their salad bar, and many authentic dipping sauces that were actually made for your meat. The meat itself was very good, especially the beef - filet mignon, sirloin, beef ribs, etc. Wasn't too fond of the pork because they were dry. Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience considering the value. The chimichura sauce itself made it worthwhile, definitely coming back next time for it! "

  • "Food quality does not match the price. Our dining experience was celebrating son's college graduation so overall experience was very pleasant. Food way too salty. Some cuts of meat were excellent. However, I would not serve the burnt fillet steak to a dog and it should never have made it to our table. The lamb chops were extremely salty and overcooked. Other pieces were far from medium rare which is the default. Major improvements necessary before we would return."

  • "Great salad bar and super selection of roasted meats. Bring an appetite. Easy to fill up early and feel like you didn't get your money's worth. Just skip lunch and make sure you don't overdo the salads. "

  • "Everything was really good from the food to our waiter. The variety was exceptional. I went on an empty stomach and left happily plump. The only thing that seemed to be a bother was trying to understand the meat servers coming to the table. There was a language barrier, at times, when I would ask what type of meat the were serving. And make sure you turn your card over to red or they'll keep serving you :)"
