The walk from the parking lot to the cafe winds through the artful displays of seasonal plants and garden sculptures. When you enter the vintage greenhouse, you are surrounded by rustic charm and carefully blended casual and upscale ambience. The food is delicious, served by warm attentive staff and presented beautifully. The local mushroom soup and perfect summer salads upstaged the entrees but were almost eclipsed by the stunning desserts. The only disappointment was the filet which was too chewy on the outside to enjoy. Bring your own wine and enjoy a special meal."

  • "Lousy service. arrived 5 minutes early rudely told to come back in 5 minutes only to be seated at the table that was empty when we arrived. Waited 30 minutes for a waitress after starring at the two hostess and then another 40 for our meal which did not come prepared as ordered. This service was not because they were busy as there where many empty tables. Experienced slow service here before but this was beyond slow. The rude welcome did not start it off well as well."

  • "I loved our dinner at styer's. The greenhouse was a charming room to dine in. Our waitress was attentive and very kind. The food was delicious. I had the mushroom soup and scallops. For dessert we had s'mores in a jar which was tasty and cute! Perfect light ending to our filling meal. I am planning to go back, especially since the menu is seasonal. Great non-chain, local, organic restaurant in Delaware county- wish I had come here sooner!"

  • "We came here after receiving a gift card from a friend. I was more than pleasantly surprised. We ordered the tasting menu and are treated to a series of dishes that were exceptional. The atmosphere was also exceptional, almost Disney like in that you are immersed in a quant garden far removed from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life. We walked outside through the gardens, peaceful and quiet. All in all it i is one of the best choices in the tristate region."

  • "The food is never disappointing, and if you're lucky enough to go on a nice day, it's great outdoor dining among the herbs & plants. However, it's quite pricey for lunch, and seems to get more expensive each time we go, which is why it's more for a special occasion than an everyday lunch option. The food is great, but they included more reasonable lunch options. Only a handful of people were there for lunch on a beautiful day! $12 for a small mixed green salad on their Small Plates menu is about as low as you can go.. $5 for 3 tiny battered cauliflower flourettes for appy (very yummy & I'm not a big cauliflower person, but looked ridiculously small on the plate). Check out menu before you go."

Entrees were the chicken, the filet, the scallops, and the Speatzle(spelling). All were good, but a little on the expensive side. Service was good...but I have to ask...what is up with the water sans ice?"

My salad came in small bowl and was awkward to eat, it kept spilling out. It would have been better served on plate.Service was abysmal. Our server just didn't seem engaged . It 20 min to get beverages. After waiting 45 min for our lunch I asked the bus boy if could check on our order. He immediately reappeared with our order. Had it been sitting in the kitchen waiting for our absent server?"

  • "We ate outdoors and a lovely summer day and enjoyed spritzers. You can mix and match your own flavors and we had lime/mandarin and lime/raspberry. Delicious bread arrived first, baked in a flower pot. Maple and salted butter was a tasty spread for it. Then burgers arrived, piled high! The only complaint was the burgers were so HUGE. Melted gouda cheese, grainy mustard, and caramelized onions made it one of the best burgers I've had, however. It was full of flavor. The fries were great too, sprinkled with herbs. Would love to go again!"

  • "I LOVE terrain and the cafe and the food is always great; however, I really couldn't enjoy my brunch on Sunday because of the unbearable temperature of the dining room. I understand the dining room is in a greenhouse but on a hot summer day I really expected there to be fans or an air conditioner keeping diners cool. Unfortunately I spent most of my meal sweating and I couldn't wait for the check to come so I could get the heck out of there. I will definitely be back, just never in the summer."

  • "We love to try the tasting menu. If you order 5 courses, it is equivalent to getting 10 different items since they bring out two completely different dishes. We share and get a chance to taste 10 items. What fun! Food was delicious. The setting is very natural with lots of live plants, mostly ferns. You need to bring your own alcohol."

  • "My wife wanted to eat here for her birthday. I booked through open table and added comments to the reservation as I always do. I asked to be seated away from high traffic areas as well acknowledge her birthday. Neither request was acknowledged. Service is always hit or miss. It ranges from great to terrible. It all depends on the server. Absolute beautiful place to eat and full of character. At this scale of restaurant I would expect a few gluten free options in this day and age besides "salad". Eager to throw any bits and pieces on a salad but it's still a salad. If service was monitored just a little better and offered a couple gluten free options this spot would be a 10! Not the "go to" spot for use anymore which is very disappointing."

  • "I read about Styer's from several trendy lifestyle blogs that I follow. After pouring over the posts, I made it my mission to trek from our home in Washington, DC to the little garden getaway. This place lived up to ALL of the hype. From the moment my husband and I walked in, we knew that we were in for a treat. It was dreamy and artsy and felt so Anthropologie-esque. The food was amazing and the service was seriously top notch-- especially for being called a "cafe." Reserve the day to tour around and walk the garden area, as it is an experience in itself. I don't garden, but I certainly left there with an urge to start one!"

  • "The food was mediocre. My quiche was dry although the potatoes were good. Salad was ok. Quinoa dish left a lot to be desired. All in all it was not worth the price. The bread was also over baked. I have been really happy in the past but very disappointed this time. I am coming again onThursday with some friends ( I recommended your restaurant) sure hope I am not disappointed again. If I am not happy I will not return."

  • "Farm-to-table style restaurants seem to be all the rage these days but this is easily the best I have tried so far. The first thing you'll probably notice is the ambiance. If you can, try to get a table in the greenhouse for the full experience. I absolutely love the natural beauty and the design of this place. While great ambiance is always nice, the most important thing is the food and Styer's does not disappoint. You really can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu because everything I have tried here is superb. If I had to choose, I would recommend coming for brunch and having the fluffy and delicious pancakes. If breakfast food isn't your style, come for dinner and have the 5-course Chef's Tasting selection."

  • "I LOVE terrain but the food and service at styers garden is overpriced and the service of the waitresses is worse than a Wawa. I love bringing guests here to visit but the price of what you get is pretty ridiculous. A tiny salad is $15 and a side of bacon is $8 to go with my $20 pancakes. The menu could also use some work!! This particular visit I had friends in town so I made a reservation on open table and showed it to the check-in desk and somehow they did not have it. So they rescheduled me to a later time and I had to wait around until they called me... I would take friends to terrain visit, but skip styers and go somewhere with better food and service!!!"
