A word from Terracotta Red
We are truly excited to be a part of downtown Everett's dining scene. Our goal is to not only thrive as a distinguished neighborhood restaurant, but also as a destination for surrounding communities with food, family and celebration as our driving force.
Our cooking style centers on traditional Asian dishes created with "fresh ingredients from local farmers and suppliers". Our executive chef, Jimmy Liang, is classically trained in the European style and has worked at many of the most prestigious restaurants in the area including the Herb Farm. We pride ourselves on creating distinctive dishes utilizing multiple layers of cooking techniques and flavors. We call it "Modern Asian Cooking".

  • "This was our first time in the restaurant, I loved the idea of making the reservations on line and I had to make a change on the time with no hassles, our waitress was amazing, smiling and fast with our demands.. not saying we were demanding. It was a little loud but that's what makes it more friendly. Thank you again for the great experience. ,"

  • "My husband and I were here on a date night, we had plans after dinner and had about 1.5 hours for dinner and driving time. figured it would be enough time. Silly us didn't realize that there was a local hockey game going on and the restaurant was swamped with take out orders. Sadly we felt those take outs took higher priority to in house customers and we sat for a while waiting on our meal. when it arrived though, AMAZING! the restaurant is an open concept so it gets loud in there. do not expect a quiet personal experience. however it has its own romantic charm. We will be back for sure! would love to test out more of their menu. also if you are unsure, ask your wait staff! ours was very helpful in helping us decide."

  • "Love the ability to go on line for reservations, very 21st Century. Staff was excellent and service was very good. Menu was very complete and the Drunken Chicken had just enough punch to kick it to the next level! Bravo!! The only down side was the noise in the dining room. Most people apparently need to shout at each other rather than speak in normal conversational tones, but that's just a pet peeve of mine. That being said, looking forward to returning soon and enjoying another wonderful meal."

  • "Ample portions served family style gives everyone a chance to try many dishes . We ordered 5 entres & 3 sides, my favorites were "heaven & earth" and "coconut shrimp" . The side of green beans was especially tasty. Wait staff was attentive and quick. We are definitely going back soon."

  • "I LOVE terracotta red!! Their food is AMAZING, I recommend the five spice pork tenderloin, the drunken chicken, tangerine beef, and Mongolian beef. The service was great, I've been there four times now and every time the food is delicious, the service is good, and the ambience is, well, boisterous when its busy! Open table online reservations unfortunately did not work, they said its an ongoing problem. They fit us in anyways :)"

  • "Wow! My wife and I just tried a new recommendation from a co-worker. The food was awesome, by far the best Asian food in the Everett area. We had the Drunken Chicken and it was awesome, we also had the Heaven & Earth, Thai Noodles, and Carmalized Prawns, all were excellent. We sat in the kitchen area which was a little loud but entertaining, and our service was very good as well. We now have a new favorate place in Everett to take friends and family. Make reservations as the place was full."

  • "I had never been to Terracotta Red until I was given a gift card for the restaurant. My date and I were excited to try multiple selections from the menu. We shared Samoas, Spicy Prawns, a Chicken and Spinach dish, a side of garlic noodles, a side of rice, and an order of bread pudding to go. Everything was fantastic and great for sharing. Would definitely dine at T.R. again."

  • "Terra Cotta Red is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I have enjoyed every dish I have ever had there. The ONLY issue I ever have is the noise. It would be beneficial for them if they installed some noise dampening panels. I a slightly hard of hearing and dislike having to lean forward and ask "what?" as frequently as I have to when dining there. It won't stop me from going back, but it would make the dining experience more pleasurable."

  • "We generally go down to the waterfront if we're in Everett, but Terracotta Red is an excellent alternative over on the east side of downtown. The food is great and the portions are very generous. It has kind of a New York ambience - noisy and crowded - on a Saturday night. But the service was very attentive without being overbearing even though our waitress was also taking care of a big birthday party in the back room. We'll be going back."

  • "We made a reservation for 5 pm but didn't need it to get seated. service was nonexistence for some time. When someone did stop by to get our order my wife ordered tea and off she went and was back very soon with the tea. However I felt like we should have ordered every thing at once so we could get this dinner on. Again we waited. When we were able to order things went much faster. The food was very good and I would come back for it. The chef is on it! If the wait staff was more attentive, this could have been more memorable."

  • "The food is almost always perfect. This night, it was not. The biggest dissapointment was the Mongolian Beef. When we ordered it, our server said, "Brocolli Beef?" We said, "No, Mongolian Beef." When she walked away, we thought we heard her repeat, "Brocolli Beef" but we weren't sure. Everything but the beef dish was delivered to our table and our server said, "Enjoy!" However, we hadn't gotten the beef dish yet. We reminded her that it was Mongolian Beef, and she returned with Brocolli Beef. So, back to the kitchen, only to return with an acrid, black dish of burnt beef, beans and peppers. It would have been sent back if not for our friends who didn't want to make a fuss. A dish like this should have never left the kitchen."

  • "Excellent food. Terracotta Red was very busy the day I there and most seem to be regulars. The spicy prawns with green beans was so very good. My one compliant was the noise. People had to speak loudly just to be heard across the table. Management needs to address this issue,"

  • "I have dined at Terracotta Red 4-5 times now, and it never disappoints. It is seriously the best chinese food in the area. My husband and I recently took his parents out to dinner here, and they were blown away. Between us, we ordered the short ribs and potstickers for an appetizer (sadly, the pork belly was sold out for the night), the Mongolian Beef, Tangerine Beef, Honey Walnut Prawns and Drunken Chicken, plus sides of their cucumber salad and broccoli with garlic. For dessert, we ordered the donuts with passionfruit sauce (another item not to be missed), the chocolate panna cotta, and chocolate espresso torte. All fabulous! The noise level is always high and the waitstaff hurried, but the food more than makes up for it."

  • "I went there for the first time for dinner. What can I say. The food portions and price were great. Spent time with my wife and friends and shared four different meals. (all very good) The appetizers we had were very good. The service was friendly, efficient, and in no way overbearing. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately. We spent approximately 2 hours there, we never felt as though they needed us to hurry up and move along. It was very easy to carry on conversation at our table. If you have not experienced this place yet, you are missing out! I recommend a reservation only because from what we could see there may be limited seating at times. We will definitely be dining there again."
